You guys submitted "Jai Ho" by The Pussycat Dolls. You guys understood the assignment. The song is very catchy. I love the Bollywood sound. When it came to working in a group, you guys did the best.

Your team submitted "Say My Name" by Destiny's Child. Your team understood the assignment as well, but this song was my least favorite from the 3 submitted. The song is a classic but not very exciting.

Although this song was faltered a bit in regards to the theme, I absolutely loved it. I listened to it a few times. Their sound and vocals are so cool.

I kinda rolled my eyes when I saw this song was submitted, but listening to it after years I kinda dig it. It's a fun song!

I was actually re-listening to the album this song was on last week. This song is such a vibe
and perfect for this theme. This song embodies early 2000's pop perfectly and gives me the nostalgia that I needed.
#Zest - "Shameless" - Camilla Cabello
This song started off strong but it dipped for me. I did not like the strain her voice in some parts, but I did enjoy when she sped up her voice. I enjoyed the beginning and end part but hated the middle. Camilla has a good voice and there were flashes of that in this song. I think what this song was missing was the latin flair she adds to most of her songs.

You have the more original and fresh entries with the group challenge and this submission. I loved this song. Her voice, the music, the drama. I loved it all. If you were on the winning team you'd be a winner, but since you're not you've earned the title of Best of Worst.

Fetish - “Crystal” - Fleetwood Mac”
This was a nice surprise for this category and round overall. Their vocals blend so perfectly. One of the few songs that made me feel something.
80s
Morant - “Everywhere” Fleetwood Mac
You get points for submitting something not as obvious. I enjoyed the vocals more than anything but I found it a little boring. It’s a pretty song.
90s - Two of you placed in the top because both entries were strong.
Reallyreally - “Drive” - Incubus
This for sure gives me 90s vibes. 90s alternative rock ran so 2000s alt rock could run. I loved this song from beginning to end. It gave me nostalgia even though I didn’t grow up in the 90s.
LooseyLaduca - “Duvet” Boa
This song does something to me. Like it makes all my problems go away. This may be bad to say but it helps me dissociate. I love the vocals and music.

Turkeylover - “Last Dance” - Donna Summer
I love this song but I think it was an obvious pick for 70s. Smart to pick a song but I wished you had picked a song with the same elements but not as obvious. Her vocals may save you though, Donna Summer was that girl.
80s
Zest - “Your Love” - Outfield
This song def gives me 80s pop rock down. The song itself isn’t very exciting. I love the entrance and the instruments but it didn’t excite me. I thought it was a safe choice for 80s.
Booyahhayoob - “Don’t Stop Believing” Journey
When talking about predictable and obvious songs this one takes the cake. I mean it’s not a bad song but this song has been overplayed. Like I know it for word for word beat for beat. Not impressed.
90s
Chad123 - “Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls” - TLC
Although this a popular and beloved song, it’s a super safe choice for the 90s. I didn’t enjoy this song. Their voices are nice but I got bored and it took forever to end.

This week you be judged based on 2 songs .
Song #1:The first must be a Pop Group song that you agree with your group (submitted by your captain), When it comes to your group song, the captain will have final say on what they post.
Song #2: The second song must belong to a singer who was part of ANY pop group then went solo.
Here's the catch: The only way to place in the top is to be in the winning group. From there, whoever submits the best solo performance will win the challenge. A bottom 2 will be formed from the 6 in the non-Winning Groups.
Tldr: Decide on a group song (submitted by captain) and a solo performance of someone who was in a music group. Winning Group = top 3 . 2 worst will make up bottom 2.
The group song will be evaluated based on theme+voice(s)+music and the solo performance will be evaluated on Voice+Lyrics+Music+Originality.
*While the group challenge calls for HEAVY hitters, meaning well known songs with a lot of star power, the solo performance calls for originality and songs that are not as obvious.*

completely unrelated to my past on tengaged but yeah judge me based on that all you want I guess. It's time to go. *cracks knuckles*
I just want to start off by saying that contrary to the stuff I do and say on tengaged, my confidence level irl is very low and it took me 21 years alone to be comfortable with even getting into a photo. I've always had tons of trouble fitting in and that's mainly because of my social anxiety but even then I always had a person I could count on for help and whatever else I need. As I got older and people moved on to different things and I have turned in the wrong direction to try to find someone to count on like I just mentioned.. that wrong direction is this website.
People on this website can be very cruel, they can also be some of the nicest and most genuine people you may ever meet. I have witnessed a fair share of things occur on this website that have made me terrified of letting people in. Even growing up on this website and turning into a completely different person than I was at age 15, I still wonder what would've and could've happened had I did things differently. Could a positive influence have bettered me in life and others around me on this website?
I had a very tough time in school. I bounced around from High School to High School for my 4 years and even stayed in an abusive boarding school for a little bit. I watched my peers get beat up by staff members, damn adults that they were left with no choice but to trust with stuff. Prior to that, I was never a popular kid, things never really went my way... I was only brought to parties due to my neighbor being the most popular kid in school and us being childhood friends. I still felt like I didn't fit in and my social anxiety kinda kicked me in the ass in those situations.
Which leads me to my next point of post school... What is there to do now? I am 22 years old. I currently (can't) drive a car and have to wait until quarantine ends to continue in my plans to get my license back. What future do I even have? I am in college for Hospitality but even then, which hotel or restaurant will hire a kid who probably only remembered 25% of what he learned in school.
About a month ago I ended a very difficult relationship with someone who I felt trapped with. I could never tell her that and I am not going to air our dirty laundry to the public. Not sure whether she will see this or not but if she does then oh well, she has me blocked so yeah! That's not the point. I have always been able to express myself through music, writing and my very interesting sense of humor. I have never been known as the "attractive" guy so it was always difficult to form connections with fellow GenZs who were brought up to believe that being shallow and going for people based on how they look is ok.
Continuing what paragraph 5 was about, I often see myself chasing people who want nothing to do with me. Whether it's as a friend or in a romantic type way...
