Episode Two: "Camille & JJ"

--Act One--

::Hathersage::

Dame Zella: "You call these prunes? I'm trying to dine, not go for the shits during my nightly routines" Zella distastefully dismisses her Hand-Maidens as she glares at her Granddaughter.
Camille: "Grandmother!" she chuckles, holding her hand starkly to her mouth.
Dame Zella: "My girl, you're far too good for those people"
Camille: "They're our people?"
Dame Zella: "Not this lot!" she cowers her hand in the air.
Dame Zella: "The people of Ellesm茅ra, run by men who can't even hold a sword. Pitiful!"

Her youngest Granddaughter, Camille chuckles once more upon the entrance of her Brother, JJ.
Dame Zella however gives a slight glare to her Grandson, snarling upon his entrance.

Dame Zella: "I trust you've done plentiful useful things in your time here, Jan"
JJ: "Of course Grandmother . . ." he bellows out, a gleaming smile as his Grandmother's face turns fowl.
Dame Zella: (Cascading her prunes at him)
Dame Zella: "Oh please, do spare me the details!" she exaggerates as he takes a seat.
Camille: "Grandmother, for our arrival we should greet the King with the greatest respect"
Dame Zella: "Of course we won't, he won't show it to us so we won't show it to them"

Camille shakes her head, concerned as she grows closer across their tables.

Camille: "And what for the King's son?"
Dame Zella: "That one should be easier, he's naive, and your one of the most finest Maidens in all of Hathersage"

Dame Zella reaches afar, stroking her Granddaughters face before residing back to her seat.

Camille: "Will Father be accompanying us?"
JJ: "Probably pissing it up in the taverns as we speak!"

Dame Zella shakes her head, disagreeing with the statement.

Dame Zella: "Your Father will join us for the festivals, your marriage. For now, it'll be just us"

::Ellesm茅ra::

King Noah paces through his Castle's Keep, climbing piles as he pulls upon book after book. He searches, insight of answers for his growing passion of desires. However, a noticeable figure blooms behind him, King Noah unaware of the presence of his loyal Guard.

Sir Anthony: (Staring plainly, all emotion drawn from him)

King Noah reaches for his final book, tugging it from the shelf before turning to the archway, a glistening shine from his armor brightly lights the room as Sir Anthony steps from the Archway.

King Noah: "What brings you here?" he asks with formidable concern.
Sir Anthony: (Placing a small scroll upon the table before him)
Sir Anthony: "Dame Zella and her Grandchildren arrive within the coming hours"
King Noah: "I've told you, we're not welcoming their arrival"

Sir Anthony chuckles as he takes the scroll once more, preparing himself to leave until King Noah ushers for him to remain.

King Noah: "Why do I sense such tension between us my loyal Knight?" Noah bravely pronounces.
Sir Anthony: (His head upon his shoulder, remaining still)
King Noah: "For everything you have served me for, it is now you turn on me?"
King Noah: (Great pause) "Tell me . . . If you had a dagger in the palms of your hands right now, what would stop you from ending all this?"

Sir Anthony listens to his King's question, unable to speak the truth as his King exclaims a chuckle.

King Noah: "We've got few allies remaining my friend, you'll need me for what is to come or we'll be dragged down in this shit-hole together"

Sir Anthony hears the end, departing from the room as he steadily maintains this information.

--Act Two--

::Hathersage::

Camille Vox and her Brother, JJ begin setting down their leave of absence from their City. Within their own Castles, they walk gracefully through the halls. Camille holds a brave face, her soft eyes clinging to her brothers arm as they walk besides their servants. Each in their own, sharing a smile for their departing residents.

Upon the masses, Camille and JJ enter narrow corridors steadily approaching the castle doors.

JJ: "Did you get it?" he whispers softly, holding his sister in his arms.
Camille: (Pulling out a golden brace, and few diamonds that rest in her hand)
Camille: "Of course I did, I'm not letting that bastard keep these. They'll claim thousands on the market!"

Camille entices herself in laughter, her corset flowing in her strides as JJ exclaims louder, both recently stealing their Father's jewels out of spite as they continue to depart.

Outside, the crowds cheer for the siblings who stand hand-in-hand, Camille softly placing the jewels into a small pouch as their Grandmother smiles, noticing their exchange. She welcomes them to the carriages, as they enter one after the other.

::Ellesm茅ra::

Within the Citadel walls, little Aston Aldaine walks within the streets, he holds the information of the motives for Lady Chandler hidden within his mind, safely guarding King Noah's secrets. He maintains his own sadness however as he strides along the walls.
He pauses, watching the wall above as it towers above him, his mind reaching afar as he see's nothing but the blue skies above. A small hand-print, against the gates as he listens through.

Upon the other side, many weeks ago his father, Randall puts his hand against the very same gate, listening back upon his departure from the city.
Both relatives, reaching out for one another despite their separations.

Elsewhere, Lady Chandler resides in the common rooms, reaching for her notes as she scribbles away. Her words do not aline but her mind does see the words she meaningfully transpires. They waltz upon the page, dancing in a spiral, intertwined through her many patterns that interchange their meaning.
She finishes, smiling to herself upon her efforts, upon the page the many events of her life are all placed into one singular page, Lady Chandler relishing her emotions upon a page of anger, sadness and regret. All events leading her to her current state remaining upon this page. However, she signs it in a name, the name of her Daughter 'Hannah' finally resting her quill upon the page as she readies herself to leave.

--Act Three--

The Baron Wastelands lay bare, however formidable structures rise in the distance, the group ever trekking east in search of their new Sanctuary as claimed by Jeremy.
The tall pyramids are a sight, the sun raining upon the decaying structures all but the lonesome pyramid standing in the middle. The group continue in awe, most of them dehydrated as they continue in search with Jeremy.

Jeremy: (Reaching an arch) "Welcome, our Empress is awaiting" he bows, gesturing for them to enter.

The group enter, seeing spiraling staircases carved from the finest Sandstone lining itself across the body of the Pyramid as a masculine figure approaches the group.
Prince Olyver arrives, dressed in revealing clothing suited for the Wastelands as he holds a spear within his hands. He bows to the group, greeting them with kindness as Jeremy follows in, both lovers sharing a smile upon entrance.

Prince Olyver: "This way" he gestures, leading the group onwards as they continue their Journey.

High above, falling sand tumbles upon the heads of the group, each of them slowly climbing the crumbling stairwell as they begin to reach the Throne Room where their Empress, Raine resides.
A fearsome glare rests upon her stern face, her tanned skinned being vibrant as she greets her guests.

Empress Raine: "Come, Come. I must see your faces!"

She reaches afar, drawing them from the shadows as her son, Olyver and her Squire, Jeremy join alongside her.

Empress Raine: "Aren't you all magnificent!" she glows with excitement, an enticing smile broadly welcoming them.
Marcus: (His attention drawing to the glaring woman) "Who is it we have come to see?"

The Empresses laughter towers them all, cascading through the corridors of the Pyramids as Marcus remains confused.

Lauren: "The Reppingtals. Three Decades ago they were exiled to these wastelands with a child, Raine who many believed to have died mere days upon Exiling"

Empress Raine shows significant acknowledgment for Lauren's studies, respecting her for this manner. Marcus however, turns in disbelief.

Empress Raine: "You're a clever girl, and to clarify your claims I am indeed Raine, Raine Reppingtal. Beside me is my son, Olyver and my Squire, Jeremy. We're the last of our clan. The last for many years now, we're grateful you have joined us" she shows respect as she welcomes them.

Fei shows weakness however, lowering herself beside Randall as she holds her wounded ankle.

Empress Raine: "My girl, you're injured. We have few medications in which may help you on your way. Jeremy will aid you all to your rooms, for our home is now yours"

The group show gratitude to the offering, no other alternative being optional as they continue along their way.
However, as the group depart the Empress draws attention to Hali who follows approximately five feet behind the rest, intriguing Raine as she returns to her duties.

--Act Four--

Upon their Carriage journey to Ellesm茅ra, Dame Zella sits comfortably with her Grandchildren as she travels far. She wallows in her Grandchildren's hatred for their Father as she speaks out.

Dame Zella: "No Great Pleasure, believe me. A ponderous oaf. His Father was an oaf aswell. My Husband, the late Lord Gregory. He managed to ride off of a cliff whilst hawking. They say he looked up at the sky and paying no mind to where his horse was taking him. And now, my son is doing the same, only this time he's riding a lion instead of a horse due to his naive alliance with House Belmont"

Her Grandchildren remain bewildered, her many tongues being of little information for them as she chuckles.

Dame Zella: "He has had a reputation . . . a reputation that for many would get them named traitor with the taking of their head. Your Father may be a useless man, but isn't every man just as he is?"

JJ snarls at his Grandmother's remark, shaking his head as Zella gives him a powerful tap across his forehead for his jealousy.

Dame Zella: "You can knock men around with your sticks, childs play. Leave the women to claim the throne if all men can do is fist one another and throw hands in a bid for respect"
Camille: "Grandmother!" she embarrassingly chuckles, holding her mouth as she glances at JJ.
JJ: "Oh please, continue on. I'm sure it'll get funnier" he exclaims to his Grandmother.
Dame Zella: "What I'm trying to say is that your Father isn't a good role model I understand, you've been enlisted in my care and now he's pawning you, my sweet to one of the most vile men in all of the seven Kingdoms. If I had any say in this, as Matriarch of House Vox I would put an end to this but I simply can't. Once the cow's been milked, you just cannot squirt the cream back up the udder. We must continue forth, accepting whats coming, and I'll be there through every moment and we'll play them good, until we claim the Throne"

Dame Zella places her frail hand upon Camille's cheek, Camille sharing an exchange with her Grandmother as she holds the pouch in her hands.

Dame Zella: "And if we're to do this, we need to be truthful in our acts"

Dame Zella places her hand out, Camille glaring at her palm as Zella gestures for the return of the stolen goods. JJ Snarls once more, Camille reluctantly accepting defeat as their Grandmother awaits. She returns the jewels as Zella prepares them for arrival, opening the small carriage window as the Citadel can be seen from the small mountains.

Dame Zella: "Now do mind the fowl smell, you can smell the shit from a distance. I'd suggest not breathing for next few weeks as the toxins can hit you pretty bad"
Dame Zella: "My Children, Welcome to . . . Ugh!"

Dame Zella closes the window, holding her handkerchief across her nose once more.

Dame Zella: "Welcome to Ellesm茅ra" she rolls her eyes steadily, recovering from the fowl stench.

Thoughts upon Noah's confrontation about Anthony's Loyalties?: I think Noah's getting paranoid as people are finally opposing him.
Why did Raine notice Hali out of the group?: I feel like Raine could know how Hali was betrayed by Noah
