Episode Three: "Life Is No Longer Pure"
::Scene One::
Within her newly founded home, Venelope sits parched over a table as she reads through several riveting books. The day's morning bloom shines bright through the windows as she sits in her own deep trance. From behind however, stands Jade who solemnly looks down upon Venelope as she holds two circular plates, ready for their morning breakfast. As she watches from behind, Venelope remains oblivious to her presence. Jade seemingly cannot bring herself to move, but with heavy lifting the dimples on her face stretch wide as a forceful smile reluctantly appears upon her face. Her smile gleams, placing down the plate infront of Venelope before taking her seat. She remains perplexed unknowing of what to say and how to say it.
Venelope: "It's a pleasant morning today Miss Crow"
Jade remains seated comfortably as she takes her cutlery and begins to pull apart her bacon.
Venelope remains quiet, her face drooping as her anxiety rises at the chilling silence.
Venelope: "Miss Crow?" she beckons once more, Jade still remaining quiet.
Venelope then hinders herself with a great pause, taking her own cutlery and beginning to eat herself. The unbearable silence being unwelcome to timid Venelope in her own mind.
Meanwhile, in another part of town and a small secluded estate, Ethan's house stands tall. Despite not being part of the wealthiest family, the Durant family holds much heritage and thus he lives in a secluded area. However, inside it remains deathly. No air within the white walls. The brightness illuminating the darkest of nights all whilst Ethan sits alone in his single room. He spends much of his time on expensive hardware, the latest gadget or devise and embroils himself in his own reality. However this only lasts for so long, the house remains bare, nobody in-sight as his parents remain away leaving Ethan alone, in his own endless nightmare.
::Scene Two::
As Venelope departs from her home, Addison prepares for her own departure with her bag slung across her left arm preparing to head to school until her mother's voice beckons to her from a far. Addison sighs as her home remains ignited by candlelight.
Mother: "Your leaving?"
Addison: (Breathing heavily as she drops her bag, starling her own mother)
Addison: "I have school. I must . . . I will" her voice deepens.
Her mother's eyes grow wider, watching her daughter tense as she slowly steps back. She holds her hands close to her chest, praising her Lord Jesus & Savior, chanting Addison's name several times as Addison firmly takes her bag and departs from her home.
Outside, she pauses. Calmly, she intakes the air around her. She smiles for once, a small comparison to Venelope who stands just across the street smiling over. The two girls share a brief exchange as Addison steps out into the street ahead, the two girls once again smiling at eachother before Venelope speaks out.
Venelope: "I saw you at the introduction ceremony, I didn't realise you lived so close!" she chuckles.
Venelope: (Notices a slight discomfort in Addison)
Venelope: "It's already . . . I'm the same too. I'm Venelope by the way" she greets herself.
As the two share their brief encounter, Addison greets herself before Venelope offers her hand as the two join one another on their way to school.
Elsewhere, on the small farm overlooking Raindale, Alex awaits in his small cottage as Ian departs from his brother Jackson's room, he welcomes Alex with a warm consolation before taking his side.
Ian: "There's no escaping it . . . You have to face it" he pleads to an isolated wreck which stands before him.
Alex refuses, shaking his head as Ian pleads to him. However, during their brief debate the wheeziness of Jackson's room fills the bristle air in the corridors, heavy choking and gurgling can be heard from beyond the door as Ian ends his plea's.
Inside the room, a frail voice can be heard through the regurgitating and heavy breathing. Ian's eyes glance down, gesturing for Alex to move forward into room even if he declines. However, a frail Alex shows disdain, unable to move without Ian's guidance as he takes Ian's arm to his side as the pair walk in together.
Inside the room, a horrific sight to behold. Alex's brother, Jackson bedrest in a filthy bed, feaces and his own vomit spread across the bed sheets, all but a few chunks of hair left upon his flaky scalp. Alex pauses. His eyes show envy and remorse but his head screams in anger. His love for his brother reaches new mounts as Jackson's hand rises.
Jackson: (A small oxygen mask covering his mouth) "A-...Alex" (Coughing perversely)
Alex: (Unable to glance down at his solemn brother as he turns to the window)
Ian: "Alex . . . Please"
Alex: "I can't, not like this"
Jackson screeches in pain, heavy coughing takes place as he reaches out for his brother, the loud machines in his room churning as white smoke vaporizes in the air above.
Jackson: "Alex . . . You're still my brother. Please . . . just takes my hand" he pleads, holding his hand out firmly.
Alex turns his back, seeing Jackson reach closer as skin falls from his lifeless hand. Alex's brave eyes stand tall, turning to Ian before looking back once more at an envious Jackson before declining his brother's plea's. He takes his stance once more, proclaiming dominance in an act of cowardice before departing.
Alex: "I'll bring you your lunch" he informs Jackson as the door closes upon them.
::Scene Three::
As the school day begins, classes commence. However, this Friday Morning several students are absent.
Mr Witton: "Renee Covington?"
Mrs O'Connor: "Clark Marwood?"
Mrs O'Connor: "Has anyone seen Logan Friar?!"
Miss Hennessy: "Durant? . . . Where are Susan and Brea?!"
As word gets around of the absent students, Principal Nolan Kizler calls out for a shining star, the only attendee from the group is Skye Marquez who entices herself in her English Literature classes but not for the right reasons. She looks cheerful and happy, declaring victory for her future rather than take account of what is occurring now, refusing to be part of Renee's and Clark's antics. However, when a voice-over calls her name to Principal Nolan's office her face falls cold. Her eyes light up in cold, bristle anguish as she timidly slides her belongings into her bag and hands her notes to her teacher. She smiles, but only for a moment before departing.
Elsewhere, Venelope takes hands of Addison's notes, she smiles at her newly founded friend as they arrive at her class.
Addison: "Shoot, Principal Kizler wanted these handed into him. You wouldn't mind would you?" she asks politely.
Venelope: "Certainly, I'll take them to him right away, I'll see you after school!" she smiles delightfully.
As she sets out, she enters a long corridor towards a door reading 'Principal Kizler' she bravely takes hand of the door knob, swiftly opening it to find a secretary and three seats, over only one has an occupant as Skye Marquez sits quietly, her bag clinging to her two fingers as she awaits outside the office. Venelope enters the room and heads towards the secretary who gestures to one of the seats alongside Skye, Venelope frowns thinking of Skye's associating to Renee and Clark before settling down.
An awkward silence falls over the two girls as Venelope's head sways, holding onto Addison's notes for Principal Kizler before Skye turns to her, watching Venelope drift off into her own reality. She smiles at the intake of self indulsion.
Skye: "You're a funny one aren't you?" she giggles as Venelope stops, becoming embarrassed.
Skye: "Oh no, no. I'm sorry I actually quite like it. Someone who can escape and be with themselves"
Venelope bows her head before speaking to Skye.
Venelope: "I saw you with those girls, the one who laughed . . . the ones who commented about me"
Skye: "And they'll continue to do so. However, if you're going to remain here you cannot allow them to win. I know what bitches they're and how vile they can get but I'm not like that. We're no longer in a world where life is pure, we have people like them coming in and out of our lives looking for destruction but what do we do? We move forward. You cannot let them bring you down because of who you're. You're an Orphan, so what? You have the reason why you're what you're and nobody else does. If they knew what you had been through I'm sure the sly comments and all the bitchiness would end, but allowing them to make comments and you showing signs that it affects you will only make it worse"
Skye ends briefly as Venelope smiles.
Venelope: "Thank you . . . I didn't think anyone liked me here"
Skye: (Chuckling) "Really? You should see Susan! She's so threatened by you"
Venelope: (Confused) "Me? . . . But why?"
Skye: "Ethan, Ethan Durant? The boy who keeps trying to speak to you. He isn't mocking you Venelope, he genuinely cares. I don't know why, I don't know how but he does. However, your previous experiences is not allowing you to see whats really infront of you" Skye explains.
Venelope blushes, scrunching her hand against the notes resting on her legs.
Skye: (Nudging Venelope with a declaring smile) "Not bad for an Orphan girl ugh?" she laughs.
However, as the two girls exchange their laughter Principal Kizler enters the room, noticing Skye but then turning his sights to Venelope with a smile upon his face.
Principal Nolan: "Oh girls . . . what a surprise"
Venelope turns to Skye with a grin still upon her face, only to notice her disdain and fear as her eyes jilt down. Skye stands as she quakes in her shoes, stepping forward to Principal Kizler before he beckons for Venelope too.
Principal Nolan: "Come on Miss Hanson, you too"
Venelope rises, following the two behind as she enters his office to see Skye stood infront of his desk, the door closing behind the two girls as she takes a seat on the couch in the corner.
Principal Nolan: "You take notes now won't you sweetheart" he states, patting Venelope on the forehead.
Principal Nolan: "You'll be next"
He walks beside Skye, placing his hand on her waist before taking his seat opposite her.
He smiles briefly, his eyes escorting themselves down her body before Skye drops her bags to the floor.
Principal Nolan: "Good girl" he bravely states, watching Skye swell with tears before him.
Skye reaches for her top button of her shirt, starting to undress herself before him as Venelope sits quietly in the corner. Her eyes widen, fear growing within her as voice beckon in her head.
(Voices):
???: "You did this! You watch, when he gets home you're in for it"
Venelope: "No please . . . Please, I beg you"
???: "It's too late. I'll enjoy this one tonight"
(The voice end)

Will Addison & Venelope's friendship last?: I hope so, it's a cute little bond.
Thoughts upon Alex refusing to come to terms with his brothers illness?: Its pretty sad, and the fact his brother has to suffer even more is worse.
Will Jackson survive his illness?: I mean, I have a feeling he will be dying, but not due to his illness.
Where were Clark, Logan, Renee & The Twins?: Who cares, and episode without them was enjoyable!
Thoughts upon Skye's interaction with Venelope?: I hope it creates a friendship because venelope needs people on her side.
Will Venelope confront Ethan now she knows the truth?: Probably.
Thoughts upon the scene between Principal Nolan, Skye & Venelope?: That was fucked up, and the fact that skye already knew what to do made me sad.
