Season Titled, 'Retribution' (Part Four of Ten): Episode Four: "The Death of a Queen"

A deathly howl circles the Castle's Keep, soaring through the Night Skies as a teal cloak drapes across the wooden planks of the Castle's entrance. An elderly, yet sophisticated woman enters in her robes, her head held high whilst maintain a black head covering that seals her hair away. She walks softly with grace across the Castle in search of her associate, peering round corners whilst sniffing at the bitter air.

???: (Her tongue wagging) "Oh, you can smell the shit from five miles away"

The Mysterious figure draws up her hands to cover her nose as she continues onwards.

Upon her arrival to the chambers, she is seen throwing her head back in disgust, tapping at the door's as she awaits for a response. Moments pass and then a frail Lady Hali comes to the door, the woman pushing her way into the room in a respectable manner.

???: "I've traveled across three citadel's and two retched villages to get here to find you my girl? Please do get some rest, you look appalling"

The Elderly Woman visibly has no restraint upon her sharp tongue as a sickened Lady Mira chuckles in the bed beside Lady Hali and the woman, Lady Hali looking slightly bewildered at Lady Mira's amusement.

???: "Argh, if it isn't the one and only Lady Mira . . . Former Queen to King Noah, a pretentious man whore who is now married to who? . . ." The Woman sniggers, Lady Mira also showing more vibrancy as she chuckles along.

Lady Hali stands more confused, unsure of how to approach the Woman until Lady Mira offers her hand.

Lady Mira: "This is Lady Zella, Most commonly known as the Matriarch of House Vox and High Priestess of Hathersage. She's . . ." (Lady Mira begins to cough gently, alarming Zella)
Zella: "Oh Dear . . . Let me help" Zella calls for a dazed Lady Hali who rises, striking her hand in the air.
Zella: "Use my Advise dear, I'm not using it . . . Get me and Lady Mira the finest port!" Her hand lowers, a dazed Lady Hali dashing away in search for Zella's Request.

Upon her exit, Zella turns to Lady Mira who is aided by Zella upon her small pillows, sweat perversely dripping from her forehead.

Zella: "This is why you called my name?" Zella softly asks, acknowledging her friendship to Mira.
Lady Mira: "Y- . . . Yes. I just need you to give me assurance for when I pass . . ."
Zella: "Don't speak like that dear, I'm 92 and still going strong, I've survived through Trachea, Diarrheal . . . Hell, my Hand-Maidens got so concerned during my Husbands burial that they even went as far as accusing me of having HIV since my Husband was found to be some Perfume Ponce . . . I could care less what happened. Frankly, who should see differently to when two men decide to shag under sheets. It seems my Grandson has now taken a liking to his Grandfather's attributes and I am best pleased! The poor boy could only ever bounce other men off of his long sticks, I gave up trying to wed him around his 10th birthday, I moved my sights to my Granddaughter at that point!" Zella extravagantly bestows, much to the bewildered attention of a  weakened Lady Mira.
Lady Mira: "You make it sound so easy" (Wiping her brow of the sweat that drips)
Zella: (Leaning back, upon Lady Hali's Entrance) "I was said to be very good back then"
Lady Mira: "How are your Grandchildren?"
Zella: "They're said to arrive in the coming Month . . . as for me I'm stuck in the rancid rat infested City until then!" She sniggers, calling forth the awful conditions of King Noah's Citadel.

Upon her Entrance, Lady Hali places two firm wine glasses upon the table beside Lady Mira's bed, Lady Zella of Hathersage staring with a cold glare watching as Lady Hali begins to pour.
Zella slowly rolls her eyes with great effort, pushing her hand at the cascading river of port that churns in the glass.

Zella: "Thats enough dear, we're not in a tavern!"

Lady Mira chuckles at the comment, coughing gently in an effort to hide her sickness as Zella begins to take a stand, taking a small book from a shelf all whilst Lady Hali seats herself beside her friend.
Zella positions herself infront of Lady Mira's bed post whilst Lady Hali folds sheets, covering Lady Mira's forehead in damp water.

Lady Mira: (Her breath growing tiring as she speaks)
Lady Mira: "I wish for my debts to be paid off and all my hand-maidens be paid by the convent of my trust. I want them to be respected for everything they've done for me . . ." (She pauses, smiling at a tearful Lady Hali) "I wish to be buried in the High-Gardens outside the Castle's Keep for my Daughter to keep watch of me in my sleep. There is to be 500 mercies be said on my soul" (She ends, taking Lady Hali's hand as Zela continues to write within a small book).

(She struggles to take back her own sickness, small vomiting coming from her mouth)

Lady Mira: (Significantly struggling to speak) "For my Daughter . . . Chandler, I leave my collar of Gold I received whilst young . . . and my furs" (She begins choking, alarming Zella who pauses whilst Lady Hali begins to panic)
Lady Hali: "Madam, let me help you!" (Lady Hali takes the hand of Lady Mira who is thankful)
Lady Mira: "Thank you my loyal and loving Hali, I must write to the King . . ."

Zella continues to scribble within the book of commands, enlisting her words to King Noah.

--Act Two--
King Noah sits beside a wall, engraved in his hands rests a letter, sealed by Zella with the words of his Former Wife, Mira within them.

The Note Reads:
Lady Mira (Written Text): "Dear Husband, I commend me onto you the hour of my Death does passed on that I give to you the tender love that I owe you forces me to put you in remembrance for the health and safe guard of your soul. This is due to the onslaught of what you have casted me onto, casting me into the many miseries and yourself into many cares . . . for my heart I do pardon you for all and I do wish and pray dearly to God that he will Pardon you also . . ."

King Noah remains seated upon the flooring of his Castle, a blaze of fire roaring beside him as he holds his hands tight, clenched firmly to the note as he shrivels to the whimpering of his Daughter who continues to cry out due to the events in which he enacted.

Lady Mira (Written Text Continuing): "I Commend onto you Our Daughter, Chandler I beset to you that you be a Good Father to her . . . as I have always desired" Her plea's of desperation running a guilt ridden Noah into a state.
Lady Mira (Written Text): "And Lastly . . . I Vow the one thing I my heart desires you, above all things my love, my eternal love for you . . . My King" Lady Mira's words end.

King Noah remains attached to the note, holding it close to his chest as he remains in distraught whilst maintaining his respect.

--Act Three--

Lady Mira ends her words to Zella who finishes writing, handing the small documents to Lady Hali who wields the Quill within her hands, taking hold of Lady Mira's hand who begins to scribble onto the page, her Signature.
Lady Hali finishes assisting Lady Mira, enclosing the note in the Royal Envelopes on-hand, placing the page against the lips of her Former Queen, pressing down as a small mark is left upon it.

Zella takes a moment of silence, standing at the bedpost of Lady Mira who's eyes gaze up, the chanting words of Zella running into dull silence before the room becomes empty.
Lady Mira remains alone, strapped to the bed as a vision of her Daughter appears beyond the blowing curtains beside her, encasing her Daughter in a midst of emotion.

Lady Chandler (Vision): "Mother!" she bestows falling to her knee's as she takes her mothers hand.
Lady Mira: "My Daughter . . . " (Holding Chandler's face as she dreams) "I knew you'd come . . ."

A gleeful smile rests upon her face, her vision ending as her majestic eyes gaze into the darkness that shrouds her vision, the sheets remaining still whilst the Lady herself remains stiff.
Lady Mira passes before a tearful Lady Hali who weeps into her Former Queen's body, Zella remaining conscious as she proceeds to comfort Lady Hali in her time of need, both women remaining by the side of the deceased Lady Mira.

Elsewhere, characters pass and go as they each sit within their own secluded areas.
King Noah, continues to rest beside the raging fire, his envious eyes remain in the dark as he brings himself to few tears after being given the note of his previous wife's final words.
Lady Chandler, oblivious to her Mother's Passing remains in her Chamber in a small ball rocking back and forth over the events in which has taken an amount upon her frail body. Outside, her ally Sir Anthony is given the news of Lady Mira's passing by Hand-Maiden Fei who continues on to pass on the news, Sir Anthony remaining behind as he sighs greatly, tugging on the Oak-Wood Door ready to enter to tell a saddened Chandler of her Mother's passing.
Finally, Fei reaches Queen Jennifer's Chamber as she sits bemused, staring in a blank canvas ahead of her, Fei's reflection in the mirror gazing upon her, Fei peering over her Queen as she begins to whisper into her ear. Jennifer's face remains still, her eyes roaring in delight whilst a significant smile gazes upon her face.

Queen Jennifer: (Closing a book within her hands, her eyes glistening in the candle light)
Queen Jennifer: "Now I am Indeed Queen . . ." Her lingering words remain as Fei begins to depart.

Great Episode. I know I haven't been commenting recently, its just I guess I'm a flop and I really have no excuse.

Thoughts Upon the Episode?: Great episode, the dialogue and use of words is utterly breath-taking, I love it!
Thoughts Upon New Character Zella Vox?: Zella is an interesting one to me, and I kinda actually like her LOL
Reaction to the Death of Lady Mira?: R.I.P she was a fighter and a GREAT character, honestly my fave and I am saddened of her death. However, Chandler will reign!
How will Lady Mira's Death Impact Characters?: I don't think I will affect much, maybe Paulie and Chandler in an emotional way, Noah slightly and how he became very guilty, when he found out Mira was dying, up until the point he let Chandler know. This will make Jennifer's family very happy and honestly I like some of them, but it does disgust me.
How will Zella Fit into the Story and Who Will Come to Align/Hate Her?: I think she might be a hated character in the series by like EVERYONE except Iris & Chandler. I think she might get along with Noah or become another Fei/Hali or hopefully she kills him.
Which Two Characters will Follow Mira to their Grave?: Argh, maybe Aston I feel, not because he isn't so important, but I feel as if his death will majorly impact Jennifer. Maybe Noah, but I feel he might die next season though..
Favorite/Least Favorite Characters?: Least are Jennifer and Noah to be honest. And my faves are Zella, Iris, and Chandler. Mira before death was a fave too.

RyanAndrews, the wording I just draw similarities from old Victorian esque stylistics. It's always intrigued me and I've always had this fascination with their culture and how things were back then, kind of what I'm alluding too with this series. Especially after doing a bit of research.

Thoughts Upon the Episode?: This was quite an emotional episode, I'm not gonna lie
Thoughts Upon New Character Zella Vox?: She seems like someone who would really have a mouth on her but knows when to buckle down.
Reaction to the Death of Lady Mira?: It had to happen at some point, but it's sad seeing her go
How will Lady Mira's Death Impact Characters?: Well, Noah's become guilty, Chandler is going to go through an emotional crisis, and Hali will have to grow.
How will Zella Fit into the Story and Who Will Come to Align/Hate Her?: She might be a mixed bag.  She may make friends with those who were closest to Mira, but people like Jennifer will definitely oppose her.
Which Two Characters will Follow Mira to their Grave?: Iris simply because she was not in a future vision at all, so it might be because she has no future.  And then Randall for not listening to Marcus about leaving.
Favorite/Least Favorite Characters?: I don't really have a fav  lol
