Once a small girl, Venelope rests quietly under several long sheets as she hears cackling and mighty thuds coming from behind. She cowers in fear, her mind churning at every constant movement. Her hand however trembles considerably, reaching out as she pulls the sheet towards her face, only her stone cold eye seeing out through small cracks to see two figures standing before her in a doorway. Her mother and her father.
She jilts forward, throwing the sheets over her head once more as feet shuffle towards a petrified Venelope. From beyond these defenses, the shadowy figure of a hand begins to press down upon her throat only for her to jilt forward out of panic.
(End of Flashback)
As she jilts forward, her hand throws itself into Jade's chest who falls beside her bed in a slump. Venelope's eyes widen, petrified in her own state of sweat as Jade climbs up to her feet.
Jade: "What ever is the matter?!" Jade questions with great concern as Venelope shakes her head.
Venelope: (In a state of shock) "I'm so sorry, please let me help!" she pleads in fear.
Jade shakes her hand, declining the offer.
Jade: "Is something wrong Venelope?" she states once more as Venelope's eyes drag down.
Venelope: "No" she lies, Jade noticing her solemn attitude as she accepts this answer.
(Flashback)
As Venelope awaits at a side road passing alongside Main St. in her former residence, she watches in a small gown as cars drive by with her hair hung low and grey dust within her hair. However, as many pass by in the rain eyes draw to her white gown that blows in the wind. Red specks of liquid dampen in the rain as all eyes seem to behold the sight. Many tears run down the young girls face as Venelope shivers in the cold breeze until an elderly man and woman offer their aid before the entire residence rejoices in their efforts to aid a frail Venelope.
(End of Flashback)
As Venelope heads out for School, Jade remains home in her own clutter coming to an understanding of Venelope's odd behavior. She ponders in her own lounge as piles of her belongings rise up around her until her cellphone vibrates infront of her. Her eyes turn with great sadness, coming to an understanding of the source for her adopted spouse's change of behavior. She reaches out, taking it into her hand before dialing a number. A voice beckons her name with great delight on one end until a firm Jade replies with great discomfort.
Outside, Venelope departs into the street to find Addison awaiting her arrival dressed in a short black corset as Venelope welcomes her.
Addison: (Cheerfully) "Did you manage to give my notes to Mr. Kizler yesterday?"
Venelope: (Frowning at the thought of Mr. Kizler) "Yes . . . he got everything"
Addison doesn't notice Venelope's sadness as the two girls continue forward, Venelope's disdain and lack of interest being apparent.
(Flashback)
News Reporter: "Two bodies were found at the former residence of the Hanson family in the early hours of the morning, Police reports state that they're treating this as a homicide and suspects are currently limited. Neighbors and friends of the family have shared concern for the daughter of Barbara and Elliot Hanson, Venelope who's left the crime scene covered in bruises and blood, some of which is her own. After a day in the care of forensics and police custody, it has been stated that Venelope was a victim of sexual assault during this encounter. As for Barbara and Elliot Hanson, nothing is known as of yet"

::Scene Two::
In Central Park of Raindale, Renee swings peacefully upon a swing set as Logan awaits near a set of tree's her long hair blows against her crisp skin, her succulent smooth brown skin shining in the light. From beyond the tree's her eyes glance towards Susan and Brea who arrive alongside one another.
Clark: (Appearing beyond Renee as he curls his arm around her waist) "You ready?"
Renee: (Smiling gleefully) "Lets go" she sniggers, taking his arm as they approach the group.
As Renee and Clark simultaneously march towards the group, Skye eventually joins up, delighting Renee who approaches her friends.
Susan: "Thank god we're all here, I've been dying to do this all week"
Brea: "No you haven't, I had to remind you earlier"
Skye: (Rolling her eyes in dismay)
Logan: "What do we do then? You said you had a plan? . . ."
Clark: "Slow down guys! Yes, we've got a plan . . . Something that'll send that Orphan bitch well away from here"
As Renee takes out her notes she notices Skye's eyes linger among the group, frowning Renee turns to Skye as she takes a stand.
Renee: "Something to say Skye?"
Skye: "Not here Renee . . ." she insists, noticing Renee's will for confrontation.
Renee: (Chuckling) "Don't tell me your going soft"
Skye: "I said not here, why do this? She's done nothing to any of us and your treating her like trash"
Clark: "She is trash!"
Susan: "The trash stole the man I wanted, thats more than enough reason to hate her!"
Skye: "Shut the fuck up Susan, all you've done is constantly bitch over a man who doesn't like you. Your obsession is scary and your desires to be some polyester bitch is not working. Take off the fake tan, take off the lashes and those extensions and be something natural. Perhaps then you'll find a man willing to be with you for more things than just sex"
Brea chuckles as Skye continues, turning to Renee.
Skye: "And you, look what you've become. I don't want no part in this. This is sick. Whatever your planning, whatever your doing I suggest you stop before you burn yourself too. Look around Renee, this group isn't as big as it used to be. You lost Phoebe, we lost Mark and we've lost Jackson. You're now risking losing me along with Ethan if you do anything to Venelope. Leave her be Renee!" Skye pleads, only to ignite a flustered Renee.
As the group fall silent, Skye's eyes move fiercely across them all, nobody saying a word other than Logan change in stance. He leans his arm alongside a tree with his head bowed in shame, the guilt of their actions succumbing to him as Renee chimes.
Renee: "Then so be it, you're no part in this. I'll accept that. You've been a friend of mine for many years and I won't force you to be part of something that you're not willing to be in. However, this WILL continue Skye. Next week . . . at the Halloween Ball"
Skye: "What are you doing Renee?"
Renee: (Burning her notes as she takes Clarks arm) "You'll find out . . ."
::Scene Three::
As Venelope arrives at school, she looks up to the clocktower that strikes the hour.
Every chime she shivers, her eyes being thrown from side to side until Addison pokes her arm.
Addison: "You have a visitor" she laughs, snapping Venelope from her trance.
Soon enough Addison departs, leaving Venelope alone in the grass as Ethan approaches her with her charismatic smile.
Ethan: (Charmingly) "Hello . . . Venelope"
Venelope: (Her eyes still firmly upon the Clock-tower) "He. . .llo"
Ethan: "You okay freckles? You seem out of it" he asks, waving his hand infront of her.
Venelope: (Glancing down at Ethan before smiling) "I'm fine. Yes, right now I am fine"
Ethan: "Wonderful . . . I've been meaning to ask you a question"
Venelope: "Really? What is it" she asks politely as Ethan chuckles.
Ethan: "Everyone is taking a partner to the ball next week, I just wondered if you wanted to be mine . . . I understand if you don't want too but then I'd be stuck with Susan Sherman and I can't stand the girl, besides wouldn't y- . . ."
He pauses at the sound of Venelope's voice.
Venelope: "I'd love too" she accepts his offer, reaching out infront of her as her blue eyes shine.
Ethan: "Well . . . Venelope Hanson, will you let me show you to your class?"
Ethan holds out his hand, a blushing Venelope taking it proudly as Ethan slowly escorts her inside, their arms interlocked as they enter the building.
(Flashback)
Inside of the Hanson household, Venelope sits in her bed, her eyes fixated upon a puddle of red liquid running along the wooden floor of the rat infested house. She refuses to move, her eyes remaining dull as people come and go. Letters come through her door, neighbors stop by but no answer comes of it.
Eventually she rises, her white gown covered in drying blood as she steps over the corpses of her mother and father, her father hanging from her bed as her mother lays across the room sprawled out as her eyes remain still. Venelope begins to depart, closing the door on her dark past.
(End of Flashback)
::Scene Four::
Further into the day, Jade pulls up alongside a small Cafe on the Main st. of town. Her eyes quiver as she see's the figure in the window she has come to meet, turning her eyes around to see Nolan's car parked behind hers.
Upon her entrance she approaches the cashier to order her coffee only to be called through a silent whistle from Nolan who gestures to a warm cup already awaiting her.
Her eyes flicker, regaining her composure as she turns to the table he sits at, lowering her bag and taking her seat, resting her arms upon the marble table as she sighs heavily.
Nolan: "I must say, it came as a surprise when you called me this morning" he mocks her.
Jade's eyes glisten in the shining light of the roaring sun that seeps through the window as she controls her emotions.
Jade: "Three days ago I warned you of a significant problem we now face. This young girl, a charming, desirably smart young girl, Venelope is my responsibility. I had your promise that nothing would come in harms way of her but you lied, you lied and that girls sealed off. What. Did. You. Do. Nolan"
Jade's arm tightens, her hand wraps itself along the edges of the table as Nolan sniggers gently.
Nolan: "You're a brave woman Jade, from some pop culture referencing geek to some badass sex symbol who is no push-over. Damn. Why couldn't I have this" he licks his lip.
Jade: (Her stomach churning at his sick ideology) "I warn you again, if and when, and I mean when I do find out what this girl has been through I will kill you with my own bare hands. What you did to me you can do twice over, but bringing a fifteen year old into this. That's sick. Even for you Nolan"
Nolan reaches over, taking her hand before turning it over to reveal several scars along her arm.
Nolan: (His voice becoming deeper) "And do I need to welcome back the weak, bitter little girl you once was. The one girl who felt like nothing, the one girl who I made feel like something. I didn't do anything to you Jade . . . I made you what you're so you can thank me for making you this way. This, this is power" (Pointing out her scars) "You were weak and you released that pain, I owned you and still do. These prints are my labels, these scars are your reminder that everything you do, everything you love and everything you own is mine. Venelope is mine"
Jade swiftly takes back her arm, leaning in towards Nolan scolding him with her piercing eyes.
Jade: "I'd rather be dead then see that girl be yours"
Jade takes her stand, taking back her bag as she departs from the Cafe, leaving in sight of numerous customers as Nolan remains on his own, taking his Coffee and continuing his own sneering towards a determined Jade.
