Season Titled, 'Retribution' (Part Eight of Ten): Episode Eight: "The Act of Treason"
--Act One--
Lady Chandler sits perpetually within her bed. Her eyes timid, darkness swirling across her tinted eyeballs. Her posture remains solemn, the darkness looming outside as it begins to seep into her cold room. The footsteps of her King, her Father come forth. Her head, sharply turning to the door upon his entrance.
King Noah: (Breaking a sweat) "Chandler!" He welcomes himself.
Lady Chandler's eyes remain fixated upon the wall ahead. Her beauty shining in Noah's glistening eyes as he approaches his daughter.
He takes her shoulder, rubbing his hand across it as he drags her gown across her tender skin.
She allows this.
King Noah continues, slowly pushing her down as he chews upon her neck, her brunette curls being spread across the sheets as he widens her legs. No expression.
Upon mounting her however, a forceful blow strikes King Noah across his chest. An unholy force dragging him from upon her as he crashes against the stone walls that stand behind him.
King Noah falls into a lump, his cape falling upon him before his eyes widen, stricken with fear as he stares upon his Daughter, who stands before him.
Lady Chandler: (Her voice becomes much darker) "Hello Father"
King Noah sits bare, all integrity lost as his eyes remain still. The words of Chandler however changing in tone.
Lady Chandler: "For you rape your Daughter to prevent your Wife from Sinning, you burn at the stake to rid the world of evil! For you throw away those who you take advantage upon! Oh how you have hid so many crimes this fateful family has endured but how can one possibly hide the act of Treason from those outside these walls?"
Lady Chandler forcefully grabs her father by his throat, her strength being uncharacteristic of her as King Noah shakes his head in pity.
King Noah: "I'm Sorry!" he pleads to his Daughter numerous times.
Lady Chandler: "For you need to look much closer to your heart Father as those you have wedded may be the one who are your downfall" she implies, releasing Noah who falls once more.
He scrambles, taking his cloak with him as he scurries away, leaving the Oak-Wood door open to nothing but flickering candle light, Lady Chandler crying out in agony as she strikes at her head.
Relentless screams soar her room, Chandler ultimately colliding against her jewels that hang from her tables. Her body remains still, upon the floor as her hands shake with severe tremors.
???: (Whispering Howls) "Hello Chandler" a voice bellows out.
Lady Chandler's Brunette curls sway in the silent winds, her head rising to the sight of a lonesome woman who resides in the darkness.
From the shadows, their Scarlet hair hangs low. Her majestic eyes remaining fixated upon Chandler with a gleaming smile upon her face, Iris eventually revealing herself to Lady Chandler.
Iris: "Maybe it's time I explain" she offers, a natural smile remains despite Chandler's responses.
--Act Two--
Within the interior of the Castle, Lady Zella dines with Lady Lauren who sits across the Grand Tables of the Belmont's whilst taking at her wine.
Lady Lauren: (Boldly Expressing herself) "Thank you for inviting me" she exclaims with great respect.
Lady Zella: "Oh believe me my girl, it was either you or the Jester. You seem to be far more entertaining"
Lady Laurens is shocked, choking upon her wine due to Lady Zella's vicious tongue.
Lady Zella: "Now, I hear you are wanting to wed my Grandson is this correct?"
Lady Lauren: "Well . . . I hear he's the best of House Vox and Grandfather's always wanted me too" she explains with great integrity.
Lady Zella: "Lord Marcus is a fine man indeed but a fool at that. Don't let a man dictate what you aspire to be. Let that be your decision!"
Lady Lauren remains with high hopes, placing her glass upon the table as Lady Zella continues.
Lady Zella: "The Great House Anderson will be nothing but ruins, we may have an alliance my girl but if I were you, you and our dear Queen should vacate immediately. I have listened for as Lord Marcus requested and for what I am hearing I am fearing the worst for you"
Lady Zella begins to explain, glancing at the Hand-Maidens in the consort as she continues forth.
Lady Zella: "Take that boy and run, Queen Jennifer's reign has a formidable force against it but you can still remain. Lady Lauren An . . . Richards, Princess of Hathersage, Reigning Supreme of House Vox. You can have it all. Don't let them take you down with them"
Lady Zella remains hopeful for Lauren, removing herself from the table.
Lady Zella: "I return in Four Weeks, My Grandson and Granddaughter will accompany me and then I will offer you your stay within our Keep, until then my girl" Lady Zella bestows her, lowering her head before departing.
Lady Lauren remains, contemplating upon Zella's offering before too leaving the Table as Hand-Maidens begin to work.
Elsewhere, King Noah remains upon his many balconies overlooking the Courtyard of the Castle. His eyes, tinted with fear as his brow breaks a sweat.
Before him, appearing within the flame of the roaring fire resides Sir Anthony, dressed in the King's armor as he presents himself to his King.
Sir Anthony: "Your Majesty?" He beckons, King Noah sighing greatly.
King Noah: "They're following correct?" He asks with great pride.
Sir Anthony: "Just as you asked, a carriage awaits outside for you"
Sir Anthony (Bowing his head) "May I ask why?"
King Noah: "I'm not so sure as of yet either . . ."
King Noah takes his darkest cloak, wrapping it around him as his high boots stampede across the floor making his approach to his carriages.
--Act Three--
Within the flourishing fields of the livestock, Lady Lauren and Queen Jennifer mount from a black tinted carriage which continues on upon their arrivals. Queen Jennifer, showing much more concern as Lady Lauren takes her hand.
Queen Jennifer: "How can this be?" she argues
Lady Lauren: (Soothing Jennifer's anxiety) "Randall's been informed, they're packing as we speak"
Queen Jennifer nods upon hearing the news, Lady Lauren continues forward as the two are confronted by a wary Randall who stands guard upon his land, watching Aston through his rose tinted windows that stands within his home.
Upon noticing the two women approaching, Randall instantly greets his partner, Jennifer who accompanies him as they lock lips.
Lady Lauren: "We should get inside" she insists.
Grey clouds roll over the gardens as Randall and Queen Jennifer begin to escort themselves inside, Jennifer greeting an overwhelmed Aston who presents himself for their departure.
She smiles proudly upon her son, Randall and Lauren both set to depart as Queen Jennifer takes Aston into her own arms. She begins to exit, taking her way up stone stairs into the Gardens only to find a black carriage in the distance and King Noah upon the grounds. Her formalities seize, her eyes throbbing with sores as King Noah shakes his head upon his view of Randall who appears behind them.
Little exchange other than eye glances are shown before King Noah sets to depart, much to the dismay of his Wife as she continues to chase after him, Aston remaining in her arms as she tries to plead her case. Randall and Lauren remaining behind.
Queen Jennifer: (Pleading) "Noah . . . Please!" Her green corset frollocks in the grasses.
King Noah haste rises as he sets in motion his departures, his stern face remaining cold.
Queen Jennifer: (Her voice shattering) "Noah Please!" She adjusts Aston in her arms, steadily increasing in pace.
Queen Jennifer: "For the love of my child, for the love of Aston have mercy!"
King Noah: (Interrupting) "You've lied to me, you've always lied!" he exclaims powerfully.
Queen Jennifer: (Disapproving) "No!" only to be stopped by an angered Noah.
King Noah: (Waving his hand) "You were not a virgin once you married me! You were not what you seemed!"
King Noah distastefully glances upon his wife, his tongue running across his lips as Queen Jennifer holds to his uniform.
King Noah: "Your Father and Your Cousin arranged everything!"
He sets out to leave, Queen Jennifer insisting upon disapproving once more as she follows.
She continues in speed, eventually overpowering him as she prevents him from continuing.
Queen Jennifer: "No! I loved you, I loved you!" (her voice growing thin) "I love you still. Please after everything we are to eachother, everything we were! Please . . ."
King Noah tries to seize her, Queen Jennifer keeping her guard as she carries Aston in her arms.
He attempts to walk, Queen Jennifer fighting her tears as she chases infront once more.
Queen Jennifer: (Pleading for her entire family) "One more chance!"
Queen Jennifer: (Her hair falling from its structure) "One more . . ."
King Noah pauses, staring upon his deceitful wife before taking his decision. He stands upon the gravel path before moving forward, Queen Jennifer attempting to stop him once more but with little succession. King Noah forces his way past, leaving her behind as she bellows out.
Queen Jennifer: "Noah . . ."
Queen Jennifer's voice rises with fear and integrity, clutching at her son.
Queen Jennifer: "Your Majesty! Your Majesty I beset you!"
The King's Guard awaits his return in the distance, a shaken Queen falling to her knee's as she clutches to her son, forcefully holding to him in sight of her failure.
