Episode Five: "I Am Yours. You're Mine"
::Scene One::
As a bitter morning rises across Raindale, Clark Marwood alongside his trusted friend Logan Friar walk through the town streets on their journey to school. However, along the way their associate and friend Ethan can be spotted leaving a bakery, a sack thrown over his shoulder as he departs the store onto a settled path.
Out of arrogance however, Clark musters up his own strength as his rolls his arms back and pushes his chest out as he makes his way towards an already flustered Ethan, despite Logan's warnings not too.
Clark: (Jumping up to slam a hand down upon Ethan's back) "Hey bro!" he calls out.
Ethan drops his sack, loaves of bread falling across the path as he tilts his head towards Clark, his face falling with great envious despair.
Ethan: "What do you want Clark?"
Logan: (Joining the two as he takes Clark's shoulder) "Maybe another time Clark?"
Clark: "No . . . No, we can do this now"
Clark moves from Logan as he steps closer to Ethan who takes the sack into his hand, placing the loaves back inside.
Clark: "Why the obsession then kid?" he laughs intimidatingly.
Ethan: (His frown turning to disgust as he glances at Clark) "Obsession?"
Clark: "Yeah, come on bro, it must be some sort of fetish to go for the Orphan"
Logan: (Shaking his head) "Clark!"
Clark: "Oh back off Logan, you think the same. How its filthy to be all up on that dog"
Ethan: (His hand trembles) "Don't call her that"
Clark: "What? A dog . . ." Clark laughs, beginning to bark at Ethan.
Ethan however doesn't refrain from using his anger after already being flustered. He takes hold of the sack of loaves, throwing it into Clark's chest which knocks him back.
Clark: (Dropping the sack) "Oh, you wanna' do this?"
Clark takes his fist, closing it tightly as he swings for Ethan only to miss. Ethan quickly takes a stance by throwing his knee into Clark's chest as Clark repeatedly throws several punches at Ethan's face, some of which connect. However, out of the rage Ethan manages to take the upper-hand as Logan watches from the sidelines, watching as Ethan takes Clark by his shirt and kicking him down to the ground, Clark falling into the dirt as Ethan rises back up, wiping his bloodied nose as he takes his sack of loaves back.
Ethan: (Regaining his breath) "Stay down, dog"
As he walks away, Clark sits up in the dirt, only to turn to Logan who frowns in disappointment.
::Scene Two::
Further into town, Skye sits in a small Cafe awaiting Ethan's arrival who enters with his sack of loaves, a worried Skye noticing his minors injuries from his altercation as she gestures for him to sit.
Skye: (Taking her hand upon his face) "Oh my god, who did this?!"
Ethan: (Chuckling) "Who do you think . . ." His eyes rise to Skye as she shakes her head.
Skye: "Bastards . . . who're they to judge what you do?"
Ethan: "What did we expect?"
Skye frowns, taking her hands into her own as she sits across from Ethan. Her mind leaps back miles as she drifts into her Coffee, unaware of her thoughts overwhelming you.
Ethan: "So . . . are you going to tell me why you brought me here?" he laughs along.
Skye: "Yes, I- uhm I guess I will"
Skye pulls out her phone, showing Ethan a picture of Renee, Susan, Brea, Logan and Clark all in central park the night of their planned downfall of Venelope.
Ethan: "Whats this?"
Skye: "I know, I know. It may just be a picture but please do as I say. They're planning something Ethan and it's going to be bad. Really, really bad. I don't know what but I think its to do with the Dance on Friday, if the rumors are true and you're taking Venelope then take care of her. Do not let her out of your sight, they're planning to break her. Even at the cost of us" she explains with great care.
Ethan takes the phone from Skye, bowing his head as he takes himself into his own hands after hearing the information.
However, across the street Renee sits upon a bench as Susan and Brea join her, both of them sitting on opposite sides of Renee.
Brea: (Squinting her eyes) "Is that them?"
Susan: "Of course it is! Who else would it be?"
Brea: (Gasping) "Did you hear about Clark?! Apparently Ethan and him had a fight"
Susan: "You just told me idiot"
Renee: "Oh for fucks sake, will you both shut up. Yes I know, yes I know everything and yes it's them. This just proves that we're going to have to do this by any means necessary. Even if they get in the way"
::Scene Three::
Elsewhere, on the outskirts of town in his small cottage Alex remains silent in his corridor holding a tray of warm soup in his hands. His eyes look empty and sorrowful, motionless and intimidated to enter his weakened brothers room upon the day that his aid, Ian is off. He hesitates with great prosperity until his hand takes in the door-knob into his palms. He breathes out silent air, turning it to the forceful movements of machinery, wired up to Jackson who lays in discomfort, his eyes pulling open as they look seemingly glued together. He smiles, despite the pain. He attempts to untangle himself despite the struggles. Yet he seems delighted in the wake of his brothers company.
Jackson: (Struggling to move) "A-Alex" he smiles
Alex: (Nodding despite his slow movement)
Jackson: "Please, d-don't be scared"
Alex places the tray down, taking his brothers back in support as his arms fold back, placing him upwards in a position fit to eat. However, Alex looks solemn upon Jackson's state. A tearful Alex trying to maintain a little presence as Jackson prepares himself to eat, not noticing his brothers despair.
Jackson turns his head, his few hairs falling from his scalp as he shakes his hand for the water beside his bed.
Alex: "Here" he panics, taking the water into his hand as he helps Jackson use it.
Jackson soon finishes, coughing up whatever remains in his lungs and chest, whether that be saliva or blood or vomit. Alex sits. He ponders as Jackson sits with the tray upon his bed, looking at the pain Jackson continues to move in.
Alex: "Does it hurt? . . ." Alex glances down as Jackson frowns.
Jackson doesn't answer as he reaches out for the spoon. His face tells all as his pale skin seeps with dark blue, his veins running thin with blood that doesn't resource the entire bodily functions. The two brothers remain together, both pondering in their own pity and sadness.
::Scene Four::
Addison sits quietly in her own unphased world in a darkened room lit by candles.
Her eyes light up in the candlelight as furniture phases in and out of the darkness multiple times.
The candle flickers whilst Addison links her hands. She prays. However, she prays for herself rather than others. She prays for escape and solitaire rather than guilt and enclosures.
Addison's eyes remain upon the candlelight as baby furniture seizes in and out of the darkness behind her. She weeps, holding a small bible infront of her as the name 'Thomas' remains written upon her worn out bible infront of her. Her hand consistently remaining ontop.
::Scene Five::
However, just across the street Venelope awakens to the smell of a brewing feast. She gazes upon the sunlight that seeps on through, oblivious to the righteous acts being committed against her by the many that despise her. She throws her clothes onto herself, fixing her hair into a short braid before aligning it upon her shoulder.
In her dress, she takes the handle bars as she slowly walks down the stairwell into the dining room where a cautious Jade plates the dishes.
Jade: (Entering the kitchen with a gleaming smile upon her face) "I'll be back!" She sniggers.
Venelope chuckles, taking her seat.
Jade: "You got that reference?!"
Venelope: "Of course, everyones watched the Terminator atleast once"
Jade: (Placing the finishing touches to the breakfast) "You're happy aren't you?"
Venelope: (Lying) "Yes. Of course" she forcibly smiles.
Jade: "Good. I just wanted you to know that your safe here. You're my daughter. I won't ever let anything happen to you, not whilst your living under my roof. No, that won't happen. I promise you Venelope"
Venelope smiles, noticing a change in tone as she takes her cutlery.
Venelope: "Thank you, Jade" her eyes wander, turning to her food before her phone vibrates.
She opens her phone to see a text, a text from Ethan as she smiles.
At this moment Jade also receives one, the pair opening their phones to read them.
(Venelope's Text):
Ethan: Hey! I was wondering if you'd allow me to buy you a dress for the Ball this Friday? x
(Jade's Text):
Unknown: If you want to discuss her safety, meet me Friday at 8 at the Vinepool Parking Lot.

Ethan is truly the best character one of the 5 main protagonists in my eyes(others being Jade,Venelope,Addison,Skye)
I hope so I honestly hope the evil disintegrates into only 2 (Clarke and Renee[with Susan and Brea still being bitches but kicked out of group])
I don't think he will cause Venelope probably will want to go
Maybe separately like Ethan with Venelope and Skye alone
Idk but I think it's cool they have their own cool unique story line apart from the main
???? I have no clue ????
Something terrible maybe they found out what she had done with her past parents(or will) and will reveal that at the dance in front of everyone
Maybe Skye or Nolan(don't know how Skye has her number but...)

Thoughts upon Ethan vs Clark?: Go Ethan! Haha I loved it, shows Clark where his spot is!
Is Logan drifting away?: I feel like Logan might start becoming soft just like Skye, he seems the lesser 'vengeful' of the group
Will Ethan stay away from the Dance like Skye warned?: He probably won't, he probably feels superior after having won that fight against Clark
Will Renee harm Ethan & Skye to get to Venelope?: Ofc, that bitch is so snarky, secretive, and just vile, she'll do anything in God's name to fuck with Venelope I swear!
Where will Alex & Jackson's story go from here?: Jackson used to be apart of the group, so I think Jackson will tell Alex about the group and expose their antics causing Alex to go public and possibly help shut down Renee
Who is 'Thomas' upon Addison's bible?: Thomas is either the demon that is possessing Addison at the moment, or is someone close to her, a brother maybe? Who passed on that bible. It's old so it could be her Grandfather's, I wouldn't know.
What will happen to Venelope at the Dance?: I feel like something big is about to happen and I think what happened to her parents is going to be revealed. I'm excited!
Who texted Jade & what will they do?: I'm suspecting Nolan, but I believe he has no soul whatsoever to bargain with Jade on keeping Venelope safe. Probably Clark? Someone within the group, I'm getting a male vibe, so probably Clark or Logan. Most likely Logan, oooohh this is just so gooooood!
