I don't know where exactly to begin but as many have noticed, bengalboy was recently voted out of survivor. Yes, he is an original Gifnor but more importantly he is and was an amazing tribe member and ally.
The tribe Gifnor probably was coined 37 merges ago but before that Dru and I were a pair. We started off here http://www.tengaged.com/game/11094 and made a 10-0 merge and right after that, merged with minority. We had quite a journey together, lots of drama, meeting new people, making inside jokes and we never gave up when the cards did not fall our way. Yes, majority of the time we had strong tribes but it was not always easy. There was constant strategizing and we got to know each others schedules quite well, btwn his sleeping habits, vacations, my school/work sched, his outtings etc.
I have been with Dru since day 1, and it is so strange to be on a tribe without him. It does not feel right. He was a team player, always made sure the proper people were sitting out, made sure we were all fed and just always looked out for the tribe as a whole. He was able to step it up when other lacked "team spirit".
Throughout these 59 merges I have seen Dru grow. I remember when he broke his first high in numbers with 840 and last merge he just got 1700! He is amazing at challenges, super funny, and VERY loyal/trustworthy. He was the peanut butter to my jelly in survivor. Alegeeter, my brother always knew I would pick Dru before him in any scenario.
It sucks that Dru was able to protect me while I was banned months ago during survivor and I was not able to do the same. I know we were dealt different hands and we had the majority at that point but I still feel guilty that I could not do the same for him.
Anyway Dru, I thank you for being stuck with me. You are beyond intelligent, more than you know. You have an insane amount of common sense and humor to go along side with it.

I fucking love this kid. At one point he was just sneaky, but after going through so much with him on our tribes he quickly erased that thought. He is the most trustworthy, fun, talkative, and smart player I have ever seen on this site. I always wanted to be friends with dru and I never had the opportunity and get to really talk with him until survivor. And even though the game is almost over (likely), it will have been the best experience because of the merges I went through with emily and dru.
On gifnor Dru kept scores, he could pull em up for ya at anytime nd he knew who to sit.. He kept a check on who was doing what, eating what, etc etc... I think everyone looked at him as the leader without really saying it and he didn't act like it or anything.
New people, He'd get to know straight away and make em feel welcome etc etc..
He's hilarious and he's smart but then there's the caring side to him aswel.. so much more than a tribe member, hes an amazing friend!

The streak that Gifnor, more specifically Emmaleigh, will most likely never happen again. I congratulate both of you, and the rest of Gifnor on behalf of your absolute epicness.
Dru is like such a great tribemate, everything Emily said was true in my point of view. I was with Dru for the past 10 merges, and even a good 8-9 merges before that, until I died (long story). Dru has gotten better at challenges, and always had a great morale, it's really weird not having Dru around camp to cook the chicken right, or to boil the water at exactly 100 degrees anymore...it's not the same. What happened with the tribe was very tragic, I will miss Dru very much =[
Dru was an amazing tribemate and friend, and I'm glad that I got to play 10 merges with him, though that seems short compared to his era in survivor. He was a valued played breaking many records, including being on the first tribe to merge 10-0 three times in a rows. Dru, the first time i merged on to the tribe, Dru was the first person to come talk to me, made me feel welcomed. He's a great guy, and he will be missed on the tribe.
This blog is a wonderful tribute to a wonderful guy!! Ther comments within show how loved he is....you who have the opportunity to play a game with him or the privilege of knowing him personally, are fortunate....I only know him thru our blogs...but his amazing personality comes through.....his quick wit....his wry sense of humor and his true passion for the game....make it easy to see why he had an amazing run......the likes of witch...will probably not be seen again!!!
