The camera pans over Town hall as nothing but silence can be heard, no one is seen outside of the town hall working, the camera then cuts to an abandoned street in Sommerton where once again only the wind can be heard with other tiny noises being heard. Then the camera cuts to a patch of grass where suddenly a foot appears walking across as the pans up to see numerous walkers heading towards the apartment, cut to inside the apartment where people are running around trying to get things sorted. Chris and Tony can be seen heading out backpacks and weapons to people are Monica is walking down the corridor as JJ and Iris follow her
Iris: so what's the plan Monica
Monica: simple, everyone get a backpack full of essential supplies and a weapon of their choice to defend themselves, Big Dom should be coming up now with an update. The children get sent to safe exit so if things get too dangerous they can quickly escape and find safety, the rest of us stay and try and either get walkers away from the building or defend until we need to get out.
JJ: another organised plan
Iris: that's Monica
Monica: and right now we need to ensure everyone to ready to go so JJ can you help Chris and Tony and get everyone sorted, Iris can you come with me to grab Margie so we can get her with the kids
Iris: ok
As JJ leaves the pair to go help the others, the pair make their way towards Margie's room as they open the door find no one inside and every silence fill the room
Monica: Margie?
Iris: this doesn't feel right
Suddenly a zombified Margie appears from a room and latches onto Monica and throws her to floor as Monica ensures the walkers doesn't bite her
Monica: Iris help!
Iris quickly grabs onto Margie and drags off off of Monica and throws her out of the room as the walkers quickly turns around and tries grabbing Iris but she kicks its back into the corridor as Monica urgently looks for a weapon, Iris continue pushes it out of the room until a larger guy charges at the walker, stabbing it in the head, the pair look over at the man and now decreased Margie as Monica sighs in relief
Monica: thanks for that one Big Dom, I knew ya
Big Dom: no worries, you owe me a lot, now more since I saved you and your sister
Iris: yeah thanks
Big Dom: no worries
Monica: right let's just get everyone in position quickly
The trio run in the opposite direction as the camera pans onto the decreased Margie's body laying in the corridor.
-End Of Scene-
The camera pans to everyone in the massive stairwell as Monica, Iris and Big Dom unite with them
Tony: where's Margie?
Raven: this turned didn't she
Iris: yeah
Monica: but we have to move on, right so Alice and Spencer can you take Max and Channie towards the safe exit
Iris: Chris and Tisha go with them for numbers
Chris: go it
The five of them make their way down the stairwell and follow Alice towards the exit
Monica: the rest of ya, Big Dom, Tony, JJ you can head to the bottom to keep an eye on the walkers in case they break in, one of you stay by the exit so they get out quickly. I'm gonna stay up here Raven and Iris, whoever you feel most valuable
Iris: I'm gonna stay here with you
Monica: that's settled then, right everyone stay safe and move out
As the boys head downstairs to be on watch, Raven makes her way to her room as Iris and Monica guard the stairwell.
Iris: so no job for Raven
Monica: of course not, plus she knows what to do
Iris: and that is
Monica: none of your business
Iris: you know the one thing I've noticed since we reunited
Monica: what's that?
Iris: you protect Raven like she's family, the same way you protected me when we were younger
Monica: well since this whole end of the world crap started she's been like a mother to me, like our mom. She's been my support when I need, given me the right advice at the right time and been this places glue that holds our sanity together
Iris: just like how mom was
Monica: plus she's old enough and wise enough to know there is nothing she can do, we discussed scenarios and she knows what to do when she needs to do it
Iris: and that is
Monica: once again none of your business, damn even in the apocalypse your still as nosey as ever huh
Iris: considering I found you alive, I have a right to be
The pair smile and let out a small chuckle
Iris: stay focus?
Monica: stay focus
The pair smile as they go back to keeping watch and an ear out for any noises as the camera pans to Raven who has been watching with a smile on her face as she enters her room and start moving things around.
-End Of Scene-
The camera cuts to downstairs where JJ and Big Dom are looking at the entrance of the apartments through the stairwell as Tony is slightly higher holding a door open
JJ: so what's the plan then we just wait
Big Dom: yep, no point in making it known we're here
JJ: but don't they already know
Big Dom: there walkers, they'll move on sooner or later
JJ: and if they don't
Tony: then we get the hell out of here genius
JJ: thanks for the attitude
Tony: thanks for te sarcasm
JJ looks over at the front doors as he can see them start to crack
JJ: I'm not the only one who can see the doors
Big Dom: what do you notice
Suddenly the glass doors smack as glass goes everywhere as the walkers fall into the glass and start making their way into the apartment
JJ: THAT!
Big Dom: alright you two move, I'll shout up to the others
Tony: nah you go with JJ, I'll get Iris and Monica
Big Dom: make sure you give Alice the signal
Tony: will do
As Tony runs up the stairwell, JJ follows Big Dom through a exit into darkness as the door shuts, walkers slowly start to walk past it.
The camera then cuts to Alice, Tisha, Chris, Channie and Max who are waiting by an exit door as they suddenly here a loud rhythmic banging come from the opposite end of the corridor. Alice quickly gets us and makes the others get up.
Alice: that's the cue
Chris: alright let's go, I'll stay at the back
Spencer: ok, Max, Channie you stay in between Tisha and Chris
As Alice opens the door and walks in, suddenly a large number of walkers appear as they grab Alice, Alice tries to fight back and Spencer tries to pull her back but too many walkers grab her and she starts to be eaten alive as the other four start running down in shock
Spencer: QUICKLY THIS WAY!
The four quickly run towards the main stairwell, as they enter they notice walkers starting to make their way up the stairs
Tisha: were screwed
Chris: Spencer you know any other ways out
Spencer: uh, uh, UHHHH!
Max: Channie does
Channie: I know every escape route here
Chris: well then take us there
The group quickly follow Channie up one set of stairs and through a corridor as they make their way towards a bolted up door. As they reach it, Chris and Spencer are quick to start bashing it with his body to get it unlocked as the rest look back as walkers start to make their way into their corridor
Tisha: guys their in the corridor
Chris: were working on it
Chris and Spencer continues bashing the door until it finally gives way, Chris bursts through the door to find the stairs however he almost falls to his death as a gap is in between them and the stairs luckily Spencer pulls him to safety
Channie: their getting closer
Chris: ok I'll go first
Tisha: I'll go last
Chris takes a breath before running and making it to the stair platform, Channie is the next to go and just makes the stairs with a little help from Chris, Max and Spencer go and makes it safely. Tisha is the last to go, as she runs she hesitates at the last second as she jumps and just makes it to platform, clinging on for dear life as Chris tries helping her up
Chris: hold on Tisha
As Chris starts helping Tisha the walkers are at the stairwell and falling into the pit as one grabs onto Tisha almost causing her to fall, it climbed onto her, trying to bite her
Chris: kick it off Tisha
Tisha: I can't Chris!
Suddenly Tisha screams as she feels the walker bite into her ankle, she manages to kick the walker off before tears stream down her face
Chris: Tisha no...
Tisha: Chris Im sorry, make sure you get them to safety
Chris: but Tisha...
Tisha: you've been the best person in my life and I'm so grateful for our friendship regardless of the shit I've done to both of us
Chris: Im sorry
Tisha: don't be, your one of the good ones, you'll survive this shit
As Tisha says that a taller walker falls into the stairwell latching onto Tisha's shoulder as it pulls off out of Chris grip and Tisha falls down the stairwell into darkness, Chris stands there lifeless not knowing what to do until Max and Channie snap him back into reality
Spencer: Chris we got to go
Chris: huh
Channie: come on, we can get out through this stairwell
Chris: ok let go
Chris takes a big breath as the group make their way down the stairwell and open a door which leads out the side of the apartment where only a few walkers are found, Chris and Spencer quickly kill them and run towards a house, as he looks back at the apartments wondering what is happening with the others.
-End Of Scene-
Back upstairs Monica is walking back over to Iris as she has just checked up on Raven.
Iris: how she doing
Monica she is doing fine, calm as ever
Iris: I wish I could be as calm as her in this situation
Monica: she's a lot older, she understands time and reality better than us. She knows this situation could turn into her last so she accepts it
Iris: she is a remarkable women
Monica: we all know someone like that
Iris: I agree with that
Monica: who was yours apart from mom
Iris: a lady named Sue, we met at the start of the apocalypse, she showed that no idea what hardship you face, you deal with it, move on and become stronger cause it
Monica: what happened to her
Iris: this awful world took her when we needed her the most
Monica: go figure
Iris: but we remember her and her words and keep her in our memory to help us become stronger
Suddenly Tony comes storming into the corridor which startles both the girls as they look at him
Monica: their inside aren't they
Tony: overrun we need to move
Monica: ok follow me and I'll get us out of her through the back escape route, they shouldn't be there hopefully
Iris: and if they are
Monica: they it was a fun ride
The trio run up the corridor as they run towards Raven's room. Monica runs in as Tony and Iris stand by the entrance as Monica kneels by Raven's wheelchair.
Monica: it's time Raven
Raven: I thought today would be a day, I had a feeling
Monica: I love you so much
Raven: and I too, just stay safe and make sure you get your family connected
Monica: I will
Monica hugs Raven and then gets up and walks towards the door, Raven looks over at Tony and Iris who smiles at them and winks.
Raven: you two better keep her sane, don't know what she's gonna be like without me
The group laugh as Monica looks over at Raven one last time
Monica: thank you
Raven: it was always a pleasure
Monica smiles as she closes the door, the camera cuts to Raven who wheels her way over to the door and locks it from the inside. Monica can be seen locking it from the outside as well as the cut screen sees Monica, Iris and Tony running down the corridor as Raven wheels down to our living room. The camera sets on Raven who smiles and takes a deep breath as walkers can be heard in the background banging on her door, she looks over at a remote control on our side that she picks up, she smiles on last time as she clicks the green button. Suddenly green smoke as seen coming out of the vents and other areas as it starts to fill the flat, Raven takes a big breath in as her closes her eyes and waits.
The camera then cuts to Monica, Iris and Tony who have made it out of the apartments safely. Monica and Iris looks up at the apartments as they notice the green room slightly coming out of Raven's room as Iris looks on in confusion
Iris: what is that smoke?
Monica: Raven ensuring she got herself before they got her
Tony: come on guys we got to move.
Monica: quickly lets go
Suddenly they hear a loud bang as they turn around to Big Dom and JJ running towards them ensuring any walker that was close to them was killed. The group united as they quickly ran towards the building that they told the others to hide in. Once there, Chris, Max and Channie came out of hiding as the group looked at them.
Monica: where's Alice?
JJ: and Tisha?
Spencer: they didn't make it
JJ: damn...
Monica: we have to get going for them
Tony: well what's the plan then?
Iris: we take them back to town hall?
JJ: I mean considering we're bringing back supplies, Nathaniel should be fine with it
Monica: what man can say no to a woman bringing him food, Iris, JJ lead the way and we will follow
The group head off towards the town hall as the camera pans over the now overrun apartments as green smoke is seen to slowly seen going evaporating into the air.
-End Of Scene-
Back at the town hall, everyone is inside in their rooms relaxing and resting, the camera cuts to Nathaniel, Eliza, Henry, Holdyn and Harley as the are looking over at the apartments that can be made out in the distance as they notice the green smoke
Eliza: what do you think it is?
Henry: it is a signal about us having control of it
Holdyn: really Henry
Harley: relax, we didn't go over there to take it over
Eliza: still what could it be
Nathaniel: who knows it could be anything, but whatever it is, the air seems to be moving it in the opposite direction
Harley: what you think it could be dangerous
Nathaniel: better to be safe than sorry, let's just hope the others aren't in any kind of danger
Holdyn: and if they are?
Nathaniel: we go get them, can't have our people in danger
Suddenly a crackling can e heard through Harley's radio, she quickly grabs it
Harley: hello, whose there?
Crackling is heard again
Harley: JJ, Iris is that you
Suddenly a voice can be heard
JJ: it's me JJ, we're heading back with a few more pals and more supplies
Harley: ok we will wait for you at the south entrance
JJ: thanks
Harley puts the radio down and looks at the other
Harley: Holdyn, Henry come help me open the gate to let them in
The trio leave the office as Eliza turns to Nathaniel
Eliza: what are your thoughts
Nathaniel: time to see what new dynamic these people will bring
Eliza: and how they changed the dynamic of the others?
Nathaniel: Precisely
Both Eliza and Nathaniel look down as they see Harley, Holdyn and Henry opening the gates to let the group in, Holdyn can be seen hugging Chris straight away as Haley goes over to JJ, Iris and Monica to make introductions. Henry is seen taking to the side looking over at the people as Harley then ushers everyone inside as the camera pans back to Nathaniel and Eliza who have watched the entire thing in silence
