DEATHS: tkoj555 / Jojo Kincaid -Blood lose from fall, killed before turning- Episode 4
-Episode 5-
The camera pans over Sommerton as it looks over the complex, there is a tension in the air as people are doing jobs in the courtyard. Henry can be seen working on the fences glaring over at Chris who is working on another section of the fence with Harley. Mayson is with Iris loading guns as she looks over to see Eliza staring over at her then turns and walks into the make-shift hospital.
The camera now pans into the girls bedroom as Sierra and Tisha are seen sorting out clothes as Sonia can be seen laying in her bed. The girls get up to leave the room as they turn to Sonia.
Tisha: Sonia are you coming out of your bed today
Sonia remains silent
Tisha: come on Sonia, you can't lay in bed all day mopping over your mate
Sonia stays silent but glares at Tisha
Sierra: why don't I talk to her, I'll meet you in courtyard
Tisha: ok but if she doesn't budge then just leave her
Tisha exits the bedroom as Sierra walks over and sits on Sonia's bed
Sonia: can you get off my bed
Sierra: not until you tell me what's up
Sonia: i don't have to tell you anything
Sierra: well when you've been upset for the past couple of days I think you need to tell someone and I'm not leaving this bed until your ok
Sonia: well you already know why I'm upset
Sierra: Jojo?
Sonia: yep, now you know so you can leave now
Sierra: not until your out of this bed
Sonia gets out of her bed and stands up
Sonia: happy now, you can leave now
Sierra stands up as Sonia starts to tear up, Sierra walks over and hugs her and Sonia starts to cry
Sierra: it's ok
Sonia: no it's not, Jojo was the only person I trusted here
Sierra: well you have me and Tisha and all of my group
Sonia: yeah but she knew about certain things no one else here knew, now I feel alone and scared
Sierra: don't worry Sonia I won't let you feel that way here
Sonia slowly gets a smile on her face as she looks up into Sierra's eyes
Sonia: you serious?
Sierra: of course I am
Sonia: thanks Sierra
Sierra: no problem Sonia, how can you get dressed and go down and see everyone
Sonia: I think so
Sierra: ok well I'm gonna head down now, you get changed and meet me there
Sonia: ok
Sierra smiles as she leaves the room, Sonia stands there smiling as she puts her hand on her heart as she quickly starts looking sad again but touches her hip.
-End of Scene-
Down in the courtyard, Chris, Harley, Nicholas, Henry and others are working on the fence and repairing the damages to it. Henry is seen banging a nail in wood to secure a hole as Chris and Harley are trying to place a beam in place to secure a section of the wall
Harley: guys could we get some help please
Henry whispers: not from me
Chris: Nicholas, Henry can you give us a hand holding this beam in place
Henry rolls his eyes as he walks over with Nicholas as they hold the beam in place, Harley quickly goes and grabs the nails and hammer to start securing the beam
Henry: you know a please would have been nice Chris
Chris: sorry Henry will remember it the next time you say it too
Henry: and what's that meant to mean
Chris: just if you want me to be polite, you have to do the same back
Henry: and you think you deserve that from me
Chris: considering I've saved your life on a number of occasions....uh yeah I do
Harley: boys stop fighting for once
Chris: ok I'll be quiet
Henry: yeah that's right Chris, stop being so rude
Harley: you too Henry, your being worse
Henry: shut up, like hell I am
Harley: no you are, so shut up and let's get this sorted
Nicholas: um guys, problem!
The group turn to see a couple of walkers get to the fence and try and grab the group as they jump away, the walkers try getting in through the fence but get stuck, Harley quickly grabs the hammer and kills both the walkers as she pauses and faces the group
Nicholas: Harley are you ok?
Harley: yeah I'm fine, Chris, Nicholas you guys ok
Chris: yeah fine
Suddenly Tisha, Iris and Mayson run over
Iris: what happened?
Harley: couple of walkers surprised us but were fine
Henry: yeah I'm fine too thanks for asking Harley
Harley: Henry if I cared to ask I would've
Eliza is now seen walking over
Eliza: what is all this commotion
Chris: just a couple of walkers
Harley: no injuries don't worry
Eliza: well as long as no one needs my help
Harley: yeah no everyone fine, you can report that back to Nathaniel
Eliza: indeed I shall
Eliza starts to walk away
Mayson: wait you and Nathaniel are close
Eliza: yes we are, apart from being the doctor here I am also Nathaniel's advisor, if anything happens or I see anything I must report it to Nathaniel and give my opinion
Tisha: kinda like his right hand woman
Eliza: you could say that, I'll let you get back to it
Eliza glares over at Mayson as she walks away, back into the building
Harley: right Chris, Nicholas, Iris can you guys help secure this last beam in place with me
Henry: um that was my job not Iris'
Harley: not anymore
Chris: Henry why don't you go help somewhere else, see if Nathaniel needs help
Henry: I'll happily go see Nathaniel
Henry walks away as the others look over at him, Chris sighing as Harley shakes her head
Chris: something needs to be done there
Iris: what do you mean
Chris: he can't be leading our group
Harley: if he was my leader I'd go solo, I'd be better off
Tisha: what do you suppose we do
Chris: I think we need to have a group meeting about it today
Mayson: but Holdyn is still out on a supply run with JJ
Iris: I already know Holdyn's opinion on this
Chris: and so do I, plus he wouldn't care for the argument, Tisha can you go get Henry and take him to the canteen
Tisha: and how am I going to do that
Iris: just say you want to make sure he's alright, we will finish up here, I'll grab Sierra and we can all meet in the canteen
Tisha: ok then
Tisha walks after Henry as the rest of the group start securing the beam as Mayson is seen standing silently looking over at the town hall
-End Of Scene-
The camera pans over to Eliza who is walking into Nathaniel office as she opens the door to see Nathaniel and Tabatha kissing on his office desk as they haven't noticed her come in. She stops walking, rolls her eyes and slams the door as the pair stop in shock
Nathaniel: Eliza, did you knock?
Eliza: you know I always do Nathaniel, you continue to ignore it cause your occupied
Nathaniel: apologises Eliza
Eliza: don't apologise, I don't care what you do on that desk I have no intentions of touching it
Tabatha: and whys that?
Eliza: because I've seen what could have happened on that desk
Tabatha rolls her eyes as Nathaniel sits back on chair and Tabatha stands next to it
Nathaniel: so did you find out what that disturbance was about?
Eliza: the group were working on the fence when a couple of walkers surprised them
Tabatha: is everyone ok
Eliza: yeah no one was bitten but I think someone's ego was bruised
Nathaniel: what do you mean?
Suddenly Henry comes barging into the office looking annoyed and upset
Nathaniel: how I see, Henry what's up?
Henry: I'm getting made to feel like a fool in this place
Nathaniel: what do you mean?
Henry: people aren't respecting me when I give my opinion
Eliza: Henry why don't you calm down first
Henry: why I'm not being respected
Nathaniel: that's because people are imitated by your knowledge
Eliza: huh?
Nathaniel looks over at Eliza suggesting her to be quiet for a moment
Nathaniel: I get it Henry, people who see people with knowledge like yourself, like myself can be imitated by it because they don't know how to handle it
Henry: I get that but your people, my people think they know more
Nathaniel: its there way of dealing it, however the way we get past it. We need to use our knowledge to build and conquer to help this safe heaven thrive, i need to know if you have those qualities you say you have?
Henry: considering I lead a group of people from California to here I think I have those qualities.
Nathaniel: well then I guess I have a position for you here that could help the community
Henry: really?
Tabatha: and that is?
Nathaniel: well once JJ comes back in his final supply run, I have a mission for him and Chris which could take more than a couple of days so I will need someone to take over Chris AND JJ's position, you up for that?
Henry: I am most definitely up for that, I think me and you united is exactly what this community needs
Eliza: you certain about this Nathaniel?
Nathaniel: of course I am
Eliza: ok then
Suddenly a knock on the door is heard
Nathaniel: come in!
Tabatha is seen walking over and opening the door to see Tisha standing there as she enters slightly
Nathaniel: Tisha, is everything alright
Tisha: everything's fine, I just wanted to grab Henry quickly
Henry: sorry T we're having an important discussion right now
Nathaniel: nonsense Henry, we can finalise this meeting later, see what needs your attention
Henry: ok I'll come by later
Henry exits the room with Tisha as Tabatha closes the door and looks over at Nathaniel along with Eliza
Eliza: have you lost your damn mind?
Nathaniel: nope, I could use him effectively
Eliza: how, he can't even control himself with a little criticism
Tabatha: give him some credit Eliza, he's managed to make it this far with that group
Nathaniel: exactly plus, this way we have a close eye on him
Eliza: ok then, your community, your choice just make sure it doesn't defect from the mission
Nathaniel: don't worry it won't
Eliza: good good
Eliza exits the room as Tabatha can be seen getting on Nathaniel's lap as the door closes, Mayson suddenly comes out of hiding and looks concerned
-End Of Scene-
Henry and Tisha are seen sitting in the canteen as Henry is fiddling with his necklace
Henry: so what did you bring me here for?
Tisha: wanted to make sure your alright since you've been getting really negative lately and I don't like that
Henry: well I'm grateful for someone looking out for me
Tisha: I think everyone is looking out for you
Henry: I think I can disagree on that one
Tisha: they may not show it but they will look out for you whenever you need it
Suddenly Chris, Iris and Sierra walk into the canteen as Mayson quickly follows behind them
Henry: and what are you doing here?
Iris: we all need to have a talk as a group Henry
Henry: and I'm guessing you knew about this
Tisha: yes I did, but what I said before was truthful
Henry: well Holdyn still isn't back yet, surely this is not fair on him
Chris: I think I could speak on Holdyn's behalf since we've spoken about the same things
Henry: is that so?
Chris: yep
Iris: can we get this going then
Henry: well if this is a discussion about our group why is she here
Mayson: because I have to be around one of you at all times
Sierra: plus she has been with us for a while, she may as well be here for it
Henry: ok then let's proceed, what is this all about
Iris: so everyone as had little discussions amongst each other and they have vocalised some opinions
Henry: such as
Chris: who should lead this group
Henry: oh really, why am I not surprised by this
Iris: because it's been mentioned before
Chris: we just feel like Iris would be a more beneficial leader for this group
Henry closes his eyes and shrugs his shoulders and looks over at Tisha and Sierra
Henry: and your girl's opinion
Sierra: honestly Henry you know our relationship during this apocalypse, I'd rather have Iris leading
Henry: and you Tisha
Tisha: well I mean Henry you have managed to get us to this point safely without any casualties after the CDC
Chris: Tisha?
Tisha: let me finish! However for moving forward I think Iris' leadership will help us become stronger and excel here
Henry shrugs his shoulders as he gets up
Henry: it's that's what you want to do then Iris you can lead our group
Chris: just like that, no arguments, no fighting back
Henry: nope
Sierra: well something is clearly up here
Henry: well let's just say I can move past it and use my knowledge somewhere else
Iris: what does that mean
Henry: I guess only time will tell
Henry walks out of the canteen as the rest look on as they start to get worried
Chris: why is he so calm about this
Iris: something isn't settling right with me here
Mayson: I think I might know why
The group turn to Mayson and look at her as she starts to look worried and guilty
-End Of Scene-
Back by Nathaniel's office Tabatha is sitting outside of the doors in a desk fiddling with items around her as Sonia walks past still looking sad which Tabatha notices
Tabatha: what's up with you?
Sonia: Nothing you'll care about
Tabatha: and you think that because?
Sonia: you've never cared about my emotions or feelings what so ever
Tabatha: well I mean considering you just lost the one person who actually liked you here, I think I can make sure your ok
Sonia: well thanks for what you considered to be a caring thought
Tabatha: I'm just trying to be there for you, take it or leave it
Sonia: no offence Tabatha but considering how you got to where you are in this place, I don't need your consoling
Sonia walks away as Tabatha gets irritated
Tabatha: yeah well AT LEAST I TRIED!......ungrateful bitch
Suddenly Nathaniel's office door opens as Henry exits as he notices Tabatha sitting there
Henry: been sitting there all this time
Tabatha: well I mean when I'm not in there, this is technically my desk
Henry: oh ok
Tabatha gets up and walks to Nathaniel's door
Tabatha: baby, I'm gonna clock off now
Nathaniel: ok, see you tomorrow, sweet dreams
Tabatha: you two baby
Tabatha closes the door as she rolls her eyes, pretends to barge and walks down the corridor with Henry
Henry: sounds like that came from a place of love
Tabatha: yeah for himself
Henry: still haven't fallen for him
Tabatha: nope and I never will, hate that personality of his
Henry: I always thought me and him had the same personality
Tabatha: yeah but the difference is your personality is more masculine, plus you actually are sexy unlike him
Henry and Tabatha quickly kiss as they continue walking
Henry: are you worried he will find out
Tabatha: nah, I'll just use my charm to get out of it
Henry: that wont work for me
Tabatha: true but I'm sure I could sweet talk him a bit for you
Henry: so basically if anything does go wrong your gonna save your own arse
Henry stops as Tabatha looks down in frustration
Tabatha: I never said that
Henry: but you meant it, I'm not stupid Tabatha, your clearly trying to see how far this can go before you let it explode for your pleasure
Tabatha: that's not true
Henry: and how can I believe that
Tabatha: because unlike a lot of men in my life I had nothing to gain getting with you
Henry: and what's that's supposed to mean
Tabatha: it just means that I liked you for like
Henry: continue....
Tabatha: I can't, that's all I'm willing to say
Henry: well until you can admit the whole truth, enjoy your sneaking around alone cause I'm not apart of it
Tabatha: Henry stop being a girl
Henry: when you start acting like a women and not playing every straight men you see and tell me the truth
Henry walks away angry as Tabatha stands there silently, she pulls a picture from out of her pocket and looks at it and starts getting emotional, she quickly puts the picture back in her pocket, composes herself and carries on walking to her room

Back in the courtyard, Chris and Mayson are seen stock taking whilst Iris and Nicholas are on guard duty by the gates as Tisha is seen walking over to Chris and Mayson
Tisha: hey guys, need any help
Chris: no we're fine
Mayson: FINE?! you kidding me Chris, were not even halfway done and you forget I never finished school
Tisha: I mean an extra pair of hands could help you
Chris: ok fine
Tisha sits down as Chris ignores her and continues stock taking looking away from Tisha that Mayson notices
Tisha: so are you guys happy about Iris being the new leader
Chris: yeah, at least we have order now
Tisha: true, to be honest though Chris you've shown you could easily do that job as well
Chris: uh huh
Tisha: I mean you could always be her advisor possibly
Chris: and if I wanted too I would have said that now wouldn't I
Mayson: woah Chris chill out, she wasn't being sarcastic
Tisha: just tried giving you a compliment
Chris: well it's the apocalypse, compliments don't help fix wounds now
Mayson: you can still be nice
Tisha: no it's fine, I understand that's we've all been under a lot of stress lately, I don't take it to heart
Chris: no Mayson is right, I shouldn't have yelled, I guess me and Tisha just haven't had a talk in a while that we've needed
Mayson: well I mean I could go and let you guys talk it out now
Chris: no it's fine, now isn't the right time
Nicholas: GUYS HEADS UP! JJ AND HOLDYN ARE BACK!
The trio turn around to see Iris and Nicholas opening the gates as JJ and Holdyn are seen walking through. Chris walks up to Holdyn and hugs him as JJ takes off his bag as Harley, Sierra and Eliza walk over to them as Nathaniel and Henry can be seen in the distance.
Eliza: so how was the run?
Holdyn: pretty good actually
JJ: yeah we managed to go all the way across Sommerton and found a store that hadn't even been touched since the apocalypse started, one we missed so we grabbed as much stuff as we could
Holdyn: canned food, seeds, water and even more medicine to help in the hospital
Mayson: jackpot!
Iris: so it seems
Nathaniel: indeed, well done boys
The group turn to see Nathaniel standing by the group with Henry slightly behind him
JJ: this should let our food rations a bit
Nathaniel: I'm glad to hear it now I know they've just got back and your all probably wanted to sleep but I have a quick announcement
The group turn towards Nathaniel as they started to look confused, puzzled and intrigued
Nathaniel: now recently on one of JJ's supply runs he said he noticed other survivor activity
JJ: yeah when I was searching around I noticed what looked to be survivors holding down in some apartments on the other side of Sommerton, however because I was alone I didn't want to approach them
Iris: how come?
JJ: I didn't know what they were like so I didn't want to put myself at risk
Nathaniel: how I want to send a group of you under the leadership of JJ and Chris to go find out about this group, see if they are good people
Chris: whys that
Eliza: another group could mean a chance for trading
JJ: true or we could even unite with them to start reforming Sommerton slowly and taking back the town as a whole
Nathaniel: exactly, now would anyone like to volunteer to go
Nicholas: I'll go with them, give them support
Iris: I'll go too, don't want to Chris being alone
Holdyn: me too!
Nathaniel: Holdyn, you have just got back, I think we will let you sit this one out
Tisha: I'll go?
Iris: really Tisha
Tisha: yeah I guess I need to prove myself a bit here
Nathaniel: ok then, that settles it, you five shall leave in the morning for the Apartments
Chris: but what about here? you said I was head of supply runs as JJ was going to be chief of training.
Nathaniel: yes well I have decided to fill that temporarily with Henry here
Mayson: huh?
Nathaniel: yes, while you are gone Henry will be in charge of both roles with Harley keeping a watch on the overall proceedings
Henry: happy to be of service to the community
Holdyn: oh lord...
Iris: well that explains why he didn't mind giving up leader then huh
Nathaniel: well why don't we have all get some rest, some of you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow
Nathaniel turns and walks away as the group start to go in different directions. Henry is seen first seen smirking at the group as he turns and walks following Nathaniel's trail. Chris, Holdyn and Mayson are seen walking back towards their bedroom as they start to look concerned whilst JJ, Harley and Nicholas are seen taking the supplies away smiling and laughing. Iris and Tisha are finally seen walking back as the camera moves into Tisha's face who looks nervous as she takes a deep breath.
