Episode: "Best Laid Plans"
The car grinds across an empty street as windows shatter, glass shards spread across the road as the highway above remains busy. In the distance, a tall abandoned mall scales over the wreckage as the shallow metal gates separates the wreckage from the building. On the hardened street, Phoebe lays across the ground as Lexi begins to crawl from the ruins of the car. Inside, Tom scales across the seats towards a wounded Chantal who cries in pain as she clutches at her stomach, "T-... Tom you need to get her out" she begs as Tom becomes uncertain "Don't you say that, I'll get you both out of here. Don't you worry" he pleads as he lifts her from the seat of the car, helping her up as he drags her towards the window. Once out, Tom lifts Chantal to her feet, Chantal crying in pain as she flinches. However, once both realise what has happened they see Lexi standing beside a frail Phoebe as they hover above a young girl. "My god, I didn't hit her did I?" Tom asks as his face drops "I-... I think you did. She's unconscious, she needs help!" Phoebe pleads as Lexi shakes her head nervously, "Your a doctor Phoebe, you can help her. We need to go!" Lexi yells as Chantal's screams grow louder "Chantal! This isn't the time!" Lexi calls as Phoebe turns back, "No..." she mutters as water drips from Chantal's leg, "Phoebe..." Chantal calls before collapsing into Tom's arms, "She's in labor!" Phoebe yells as she attempts to stand, "We can't go anywhere Lexi, not like this!" she begs as Lexi's eyes wander towards the Mall in the distance. "Take her to the mall, I'll grab the girl. We can't risk anyone seeing us" she states before picking up the teenage girl before the group stumbles towards the mall, leaving the wreckage of the car on the street.
Olivia's hair falls flat as her head falls down upon a soft surface, her eyes become blurry as a soft voice calls out for her. "A Celebrity, I-... I never thought I would be so honored" they cry out before running their hand through her hair. Olivia's vision stabilizes before she awakens to notice a man sitting beside her in a cold, shallow room dimmed with the light of a candle that rests upon a table in the corner. Olivia's throat becomes stiff, her voice cracks as she tries to sit up, her arm being bound to the bed post however by the hand cuff's of the person above, "Who... are you?" she cries out as they lean in "I'm your number one fan" they smiles "I'm Liam, we'll be the best of friends" he laughs before removing himself from the side of the bed. "Thank god I found you, god knows what kind of people are out there. You're safe now, me and my mother will protect you. I promise" he smiles before exiting the room, leaving Olivia strapped to the bed as her shallow screams drain from the room inside.
Sia stands infront of a tall pane of glass, she watches down at the city below as Ariana stands behind her. "You know I'm right" she stutters as Sia nods in agreement "How long?" Sia asks before Ariana sighs "You'll lose everything in a matter of weeks... it says someone put in an order to take over, they said they'll meet you in a matter of days" Ariana explains as Sia falls back in her seat. "Why?... Why do they want this company, for years I've been running this business for the Lockwood's and now someone wants it?" she asks before Ariana shrugs in confusion "Stop the process, make sure they don't get anything from this company until I say so!" she demands before returning the forums to Ariana.
Hours pass and the group reaches the mall, Tom falls inside as he searches for tables, coming across an empty store with a long desk which he rests Chantal upon. Chantal's screams grow louder as Phoebe climbs through the decaying walls, she moves in towards the two before laying down sheets beside Chantal. "Doc, you keep my girls alive!" Tom begs as Phoebe nods, clutching at her head which begins to bleed. In the entrance, Lexi pushes the girl through who collapses onto the floor almost instantly as Lexi climbs through, she takes the girl by the arm before carrying her over to an empty fountain before laying her beside it. Lexi searches through the girls pockets before coming across a family picture, in a bright marker it reads 'To my darling Klaire, never forget that I'll always be here for you - Mum'. Lexi smiles before running her hand across the picture before placing her hand towards the scar from the incident many years ago before her eyes turn to Klaire. Lexi holds her hand against her chest before a single tear runs down her cold cheek, she places the picture into Klaire's hand before getting to her feet and walking away from the unconscious girl.
Iza sits in a small, open area as children run by, each passing her without noticing her presence. She holds the files of Kaylien Jalpoor and Mona Valdaark within the palms of her hands as she begins to read through their texts, she glances up towards the tall structure of the correctional facility before smiling to herself. However, she is soon interrupted as a faint vibration pierces her jacket, she reaches into her pocket before pulling out her cellphone. "It's happening?" she asks before the voice responds faintly. Lexi's eyes stare through the dusty glass of the store as the darkness shrouds her presence as Chantal's screams while clutching Tom's hand, "It's won't be long now" she shudders before cancelling the call. Lexi stands motionless as she removes the phone from her ear, she moves her hand up towards a small chain before taking it apart, she takes a small piece of metal before reaching for her cane, removing the top of the piercing gold stand she takes out a small purple ball before attaching it to the metal. Lexi's eyes turn grey before raising the object to her ear, shaking it three times as the rattle begins to chime. Lexi pauses before several tears fall from her eyes and onto her cheek, she presses the rattle against her chest before closing her eyes once again.
