Previously on Crystal Clear's Drag Race, 14 queens entered the race to win a cash prize of $100,000, and a lifetime supply of Anastasia Beverley Hills Cosmetics. For the first challenge they needed to do a photo shoot with their entrance look and make a Cochella outfit of one certain color. In the end Miss Ophelia ended up dominating the challenge while Amelia Awesome and Vuhr Ginn were the bottom 2. After a very close lip sync Vuhr Ginn was told to sashay away.

Crystal: Hello my fine ladies, for today's Maxi Challenge you are tasked with performing in a lip sync extravaganza of the new production "Be More Gay!" You will work in two teams, Amelia Awesome since you were the surviving bottom 2, and Miss Ophelia since you won the challenge you two will be the team captains. After you pick teams the runway theme will be high school stereotypes. Good luck ladies, and don't fuck it up.

Crystal: Ladies that was beautiful, but one team must win and that team is.... Team Amelia Awesome condragulations. However one performance really turned me even gayer, and that would be.... Crystal: Ladies let's get to the critiques.
Miss Ophelia: Honestly you were the star of your team, and you performed the best out of everyone you just were on the wrong team. While you look tonight was the best look of the night, keep up the good work.
Mae Haswell: You're performance was a little boring, and it seems like you didn't know a lot of the word however I did like your runway and it looked quite nice.
Jemima 4.0: You weren't that bad during the performance kinda boring and you faded in the background, however you're look was one of the worst on the stage.
Constance: You had the worst performance of the night, and your runway wasn't that great either this is was very disappointing from your high last week.
Miracle Monroe: You're performance was okay, better than a lot of people on this stage but your look was honestly the worst out of everyone here on this team.
Shelita Ham: You're performance was non-existant I couldn't find you during the whole thing, but your look was better than a lot of people here.
