PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Back at camp, all the Heroes were happy to make a unanimous decision at tribal. Nobody knew that Kelley and Keith had two different alliances going on, and to ensure her safety going forward, Kelley decided to search for an idol. She searched up in the trees for hours, but had no luck. When a storm hit, she took the opportunity to dig around in the dirt, now mud. She was able to find the idol by the tribe well, but Michael was walking near her since the rain was clearing. She knew she’d have to get it later. At the Villains beach, Kass tried talking to Tony, proposing that they make a truce and try to work with each other to prevent being the biggest threats. Tony didn’t give her a straight answer, but still gave her a handshake and some chatter. Kass thought this was dumb and she decided to make her own brigade against Tony. She rounded up Jay, Jason, Rodney, and Natalie, who she perceived to be the strongest challenge threats, along with Abi, her closest ally. She said that Tony was a trouble maker and she’d love to see him go home 2nd yet again. At the challenge, the Heroes knew they had to redeem themselves from the first challenge and when they found out it was a heavy swimming challenge, they pinned all their hope on Malcolm, Jaclyn, and Kelley. The tribes had to retrieve keys to later release puzzle pieces. Malcolm and Kelley swam for the Heroes, against the Villains’ Jay and Chrissy. The Heroes lapped the Villains, retrieving the keys and making it back before the Villains even reached the keys. It was time for the puzzle, in which the rest of the tribe had to assemble a 100 piece puzzle. All working together, with Aubry and Michael leading the charge, the Heroes were able to get halfway done before the Villains even started. In a blowout, Heroes finished while Angelina, Kass, and Chrissy were just starting to put pieces together. Back at camp, while the Heroes celebrated, Kelley snagged her idol, and stuffed it in her pocket, happy that the game was in her control. At the Villains beach, Rodney took the loss hard. He felt like Abi and Kass were slowing the team down, and he told Jason that he didn’t want to work with Kass to get out Tony and would rather vote her out. Jason said he’d talk to Tony. Jason told Tony that Kass was gunning for him, and Tony got mad and went straight to Chrissy and Angelina. Chrissy and Angelina then told Kass, who went to Tony directly. Kass and Tony exchanged words before Tony said it was Jason who exposed her. Kass gathered up all the women and said to make a big move against Jason, because he was trying to play the flip-flopper. “We can get this buffoon out later,” Kass said. They just needed one extra vote, and figured they could try to use Jay for it. At tribal council, Kass tried to play it like Tony was the target, but Jason admitted he thought he could be in danger for telling Tony and spoiling all the secrets. Rodney, however, defended Jason, saying that the whole tribe felt like Kass was a weak player. When the votes were being tallied, Kass knew she was getting votes but decided to hold onto her idol. The first four votes came Kass’ way, from Tony, Jason, Rodney, and Dom. The next five votes were all women voting for Jason, much to both Tony and Jason’s surprise. The last vote was Jay’s, and he decided to side with the women and vote out Jason. Bounty Hunter Jason was sent packing, and couldn’t believe they’d take out one of their strongest players.
