SURVIVOR: THIRD TIMES THE CHARM Finale Part 4 (Reunion Show)

Oct 21, 2021 by SurvivorGames
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The jury got to address Peih-Gee and Courtney. Rob was first, and congratulated both women on making the final two. “Peih-Gee, I wanted to start with you because we started this game together but you quickly took a 180 and it seemed like we never saw eye to eye,” Rob told Peih-Gee. Peih-Gee said that she knew Rob was impossible to beat later on, and that she needed to turn on him as soon as possible, and Rob asked “Do you regret it whatsoever?” to which Peih-Gee responded “absolutely not.” Rob then told Courtney she surprised him, and he was happy to see her play a more loyal, old school game and still pull off big moves. Next was Francesca who told Peih-Gee that she was too wishy washy and Courtney of all people should be the easiest person to beat, but somehow pissed a lot less people off and was actually the favorite going into the night in her opinion. Michaela was next, and asked Peih-Gee why she was the one to go when there were bigger threats left, and Peih-Gee said “If you remember, you weren’t the one going, but Spencer’s idol sent you out. But, since you’re asking, we put the votes on you because Eliza was so wishy-washy and we didn’t know exactly how her loyalties would pan out.” Eliza was next and asked Courtney why she, Hali, and Shii Ann were unnecessarily rude to her after an explosive tribal, and Courtney said “Listen, you hadn’t voted with us before, and it was just hard to believe your word. I do apologize if I made you feel bad.” Eliza was astounded that Courtney was actually apologizing and showing some respect. Danielle was next and asked them both, “you both sent me out, why?” Peih-Gee responded saying “I originally voted Spencer, and I only voted for you on revote to weaken Spencer in the game and get him all to myself,” while Courtney said “Danielle, you were the hardest person to beat at that point next to Spencer, and he had that idol. Take it as a compliment.” Danielle said she was genuinely surprised by how respectful Courtney was being in this jury questioning. Shii Ann was next and asked Courtney, “Do I vote for you because you were my ally the whole game and got tricked by Peih-Gee into voting me out, or do I vote for Peih-Gee for making the brilliant move to turn you and Hali against me?” And Courtney responded, “Listen, I know Peih-Gee put that plan into motion, but if I were you I’d vote for me because I would definitely vote for you if I were a juror in your shoes.” Spencer was next and asked Courtney how he thinks she turned her image around, and Courtney said that she still wanted to play feisty and sassy, but wanted to still maintain genuine friendships. “I think I’ve grown a lot since the first time I played. I can sit here and confidently own the game I played while also being sorry because I did backstab some relationships. But in the end, I stayed true to Hali and never wavered from that, and if Peih-Gee hadn’t won that last challenge, I’d be sitting with her as a way to show my loyalty to the jury, and I hope they respect that.” Spencer said he had a lot to think about, “I have Peih-Gee who betrayed me, but hey, she made it to the end. But I also have Courtney who still made moves but didn’t make as BIG of moves, though she did play an old school loyal game.” Brenda was next and said that she didn’t feel Courtney did grow as a player, “you still came across as a brat to me,” and applauded Peih-Gee for playing hard from day one and making the best move and the best moment. Hali was last and said that she just didn’t connect to Peih-Gee on any certain human level. “You were a good gamer, but I feel like you never had a great social play, whereas I felt like I could just shoot the shit with Courtney and laugh and have a good time.” Hali addressed the jury and said that social game should be rewarded just as much as strategic because the million dollars would be going to someone who they felt worthy, especially given the theme of this “third chance” season. “I implore you all to look at the growth of these players across not one, not two, but ALL three seasons,” she said, closing out the final tribal council.

In the end, the voting turned out like this:

Rob- Courtney
Francesca- Courtney
Michaela- Courtney
Eliza- Peih-Gee

Spencer- Courtney
Brenda- Peih-Gee
