My top three for this challenge are Kindred7 , Thnksfrthmmrs and humanwebjet1 . For this challenge I will be giving the win to Thnksfrthmmrs . Congratulations this was your third time in my top and this is your second challenge win, making you the first contestant this season to win two challenges. Kindred7 you nearly won but the winning song had more of an effect on me. You are obviously still safe, along with humanwebjet1 !

On the other hand, my bottom three were Maxi1234 , oswordo3 and Jre777 . Maxi1234 I liked your choice the most out of these three so you are safe.
Meaning, the other two of you are in danger of going home. Although I liked the song that oswordo3 submitted better, this is also your third time in the bottom three. Because of that, it is time to say goodbye to oswordo3 ! It was great having you in my competition and I still remember your fantastic “Lost The Breakup” submission. “Good Time” Maxi1234 - Judging by your past submissions, this is definitely your niche. Although this will never be my kind of music I can still recognize the great things about this track. He’s got an incredible voice and the production puts you in a trance. The songwriting isn’t as memorable unfortunately, since that is the focal point of this challenge.
“The Sisterhood” coolKat - I appreciate the songwriting, specifically the double meaning in the lyrics such as when she sings “spell it out for you”. I wouldn’t listen to this again but I like the story that the song told and she’s got a nice voice that reminds me a lot of Taylor Swift.
“Gravity” Thnksfrthmmrs - Incredible choice! This gave me chills multiple times, especially during the bridge. The lyrics do an incredible job at describing what it feels to be infatuated with somebody, while the production helps you truly feel that emotion. I’ve heard this a few times in the past but I don’t think it’ll ever get old.
“Dandelions” Kindred7 - There’s something so sweet and innocent about this song that I appreciate. It reminds me of the crushes I would have in early high school where I felt everything so much heavier than I do now. This was similar to the previous song “Gravity” but is a lot less mature, which isn’t a bad thing. Both of these songs are relatable at different stages of somebody’s life.
“Always be a fan” oswordo3 - I found this interesting and I appreciate you submitted something I’ve never heard but I don’t see myself ever listening to this again.
“Pumped Up Kicks” humanwebjet1 - There’s something disturbingly addictive about this song. I've listened to this plenty of times throughout my life but still haven’t gotten sick of it. It reminds me of “Jeremy” by Pearl Jam because of the subject matter and because they’re both alternative songs. I know some people probably hate the synth parts but I think they add nicely to the song.
“Fallin” Jre777 - I know I’ll get judged for not liking this but I find it so uninteresting. It might be because I’ve listened to it so many times already, but I did not enjoy having to sit through this. The lyrics are incredibly simplistic so it’s not impressive that she wrote it by herself.
As I mentioned at the end of the challenge five results, this round will be a bit challenging!
[THE TASK]
Your task this challenge is to submit a song that has only ONE credited songwriter. You'll be surprised at how hard this is because most popular songs are written by a team of people. If you want to check, the easiest way to do so is to either find the album on Wikipedia or you can do it through Spotify. For this task I asked you all to take me to the cinema and submit a song inspired by a movie character! I was impressed with a couple of the song choices, but the rest made me want to throw tomatoes. Here are the results!

‘Still Learning’ coolKat - This was too generic for my liking. I think the worst part was the production, it sounds as if it was just ripped from a popular Ed Sheeran song and re-used. The lyrics were okay. They were relatable in some parts. but in other parts I couldn’t relate to the song at all. Like when she mentioned having a security team. I wouldn't listen to this again.
‘Someone to You’ humanwebjet1 - There’s a specific type of pop rock music I can’t stand that this song is a part of. It has such a cheesy and manufactured sounding production that it’s hard for me to relate with it in any way. “Best Days of our Lives” by American Authors and some of the new OneRepublic songs also fit into this category. I couldn’t listen to this again if I had to.
‘ZOMBIE’ Maxi1234 - I forgive you for submitting a song based on a TV show character instead of a movie character, since I like this. My biggest criticism is that I wish she enunciated better because it’s hard to tell what she’s singing at some points. Overall, it's got a great hook and the type of rocker sound that I can’t get enough of.
‘Flowers’ Cullenhi - There’s something about this song that’s so uninteresting. It might be because I’ve already heard it a few times or that it’s pretty much just “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars: Which is a song I’ve always found insufferable. This track is supposed to be empowering but just comes off as depressing.
‘Blood’ Kindred7 - This was a great choice! It was fun to listen to because of how intense the song is and how much he gets into character. This would be a great song to have on at the gym or just if you need to hype yourself up. You could have easily chosen Fight Club for your movie because of the music video so I’m glad you went in a less obvious direction.
‘Sad Machine’ Thnksfrthmmrs - I respect you for taking a risk because this definitely isn’t for everybody. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for me but I rather have a song that is nothing like anything I’ve heard than to have something super generic.
‘Diamonds & Dancefloors’ Jre777 - Speaking of generic... In all seriousness, I didn’t hate this but it doesn’t stand out much from the pack.
‘I Get What I Want’ oswordo3 - There’s something so familiar about the production. Part of it reminds me of Nice to Meet Ya by Meghan Trainor but it also reminds me of a TV show theme song. I think it might be the one for Gossip Girl. Other than that, this was alright. It wasn’t that creative because there’s already a song in High School Musical called “I Want It All”.
A had a similar challenge last season that people liked so it's making a comeback! (With slight adjustments). For this task you will choose a movie character and base your submission around them.
Think of yourself as a record label manager, with your chosen movie character being one of your clients. The character wants to become a singer and you need to pick what song they will be releasing as their debut single. Submit a song that you think fits well with their personality, is something they'd listen to or describes their life well. If your character isn't super well-known I'd recommend including a short blurb describing the character and why you picked the song for them. You will be judged on how much I like the song, creativity and how well the song fits the theme.

Jre777 and Maxi1234 this is the first time either of you made my top three so you should be proud of yourselves. Jre777 your song showed off the fun part of country music and I just know your song goes hard at karaoke. Maxi1234 your choice gave a fun twist on country music with lyrics that remind everybody of a certain somebody in their lives. However, the winner of this challenge is @Thnksfrthemmrs !!! oswordo3 ‘Potential New Boyfriend’ - I respect that you didn’t just send ‘9 to 5’ or ‘Jolene’ but instead submitted one of her lesser known songs. This song has a similar subject matter to ‘Jolene’ but it’s coming from a different emotion. Unfortunately, this song fell flat for me, the chorus was too repetitive and this song wasn’t as country as some of her others.
Cullenhi ‘Fancy Like’ - I know this song was super popular but I’ve never understood why other than the fact that it went viral on TikTok. It just sounds like a three minute commercial that Applebee’s would pay him to create. Plus, other than him mentioning a truck I wouldn’t tell it was country if it randomly came on.
Kindred7 ‘The Booze Cruise’ - This was definitely cheesy but in a fun way, and I like that they kept it country instead of veering too far into other genres. I wouldn’t put this on if I’m by myself but I’m sure it’d be fun at a party.
Maxi1234 ‘High Horse’ - This was my favorite pick so far. It’s got a great groove to it and relatable lyrics delivered with the right amount of attitude. I also like that it’s a song that I’ve never heard from her before.
humanwebjet1 ‘Heaven’ - This was alright. There are some exceptions, but most of the time I’m not a fan of wedding songs. This reminds me of Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran where it gets the job done but it’s just so uninteresting that I can’t stand listening to it. Plus the snapping in the beginning gets on my nerves.
Jre777 ‘My Give a Damn’s Busted’ - There’s a knocking sound around the 1:20 mark and both times I listened to it I thought my parents were at my door. But in all seriousness this is a great choice. She keeps it country and has a great attitude which makes things entertaining. I could listen to this on repeat and not get bored. It's just that much fun!
coolKat ‘Burning House’ - This song is so hauntingly beautiful, I think it’s impossible not to get chills while listening to it. The part that always sticks with me is “I could take you back/But people don’t ever change”. I like how she compares a breakup to laying down in a burning house together. My only criticism is that I’ve heard this many times so it doesn’t hit as hard as the first few times I listened to it.
Thnksfrthmmrs ‘One Mississippi’ - I’m not the biggest Kane Brown fan because he goes too far into pop music for my liking but he definitely has his moments. My favorite song by his is “For Your Daughter” but this one is up there too. I like his use of actual instruments, like the fiddle, which is missing from some of his other music and modern country in general. My favorite line is the “Are you on your way?” part.
