PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The whole tribe was together, except for Ronnie, who was the only one on the outside of the votes. Ronnie decided not to give up, and approached the five prior Tigers members. “Listen,” Ronnie said, “Chris, Brendan, Gavin, and Devon are tight and I’d love to try and split them up. Brendan is the leader, we gotta go for him.” Kenny worried that Ronnie was playing a little too hard, but understood that he was on the bottom. The next morning, Brendan and Devon had an assessment of the remaining Tigers members, seeing that Jill and Tyler were extremely close, and Michelle and Kenny were extremely close. “What we need,” Devon said, “is to get Angela to realize that she’s the fifth person on the outs and try to get Ronnie back to vote with us as well.” Devon talked to Gavin and Chris, who both agreed that the Tiger duos were extremely dangerous. “If we want to get the four of us to the end,” Gavin said, “we need to stick together.” Brendan talked to Ronnie, telling him that he was willing to put everything behind them. “The duos of Tyler and Jill and then Michelle and Kenny are running this game,” Brendan told Ronnie. Ronnie said that it was really hard to forget, but he just wanted something to cling onto. “I want this to be your big move,” Brendan said, “so you need to get Angela on board.” At the immunity challenge, the contestants had the option of eating a reward feast or participating in a simple game of shuffleboard. Only Ronnie, Angela, Brendan, and Jill decided to play. Brendan was upset that none of his alliance competed. In a game of shuffleboard, Brendan seemed to be the one to beat, until Angela’s puck landed in the target for the final shot, winning immunity. Back at camp, Ronnie approached Angela with the plan. “I admire your game, and I admire you,” Ronnie started with, “but I realized that we’re working with two duos who will easily take us out fifth and sixth if we don’t take them out.” Angela didn’t realize how tight Tyler and Jill were and how tight Kenny and Michelle were, and acknowledged that it would be hard to split them up later. “We can use Brendan, Gavin, Chris, and Devon to blindside someone big,” Ronnie said. Angela said that she didn’t want to pick off all the girls, so she would have liked Jill and Michelle to be safe. “Do we wanna do Kenny or Tyler?” Ronnie asked Angela. Angela said that Kenny and Michelle were probably tighter than Tyler and Jill were. Ronnie told Brendan, Gavin, Chris, and Devon the plan. “I don’t 100% want to go to the endgame with Ronnie,” Gavin said, “but considering how I almost screwed my own game a few weeks ago, I don’t think I can afford to stand out from the crowd right now.” Michelle talked with Angela to make sure the plan was still to get Brendan. “For sure,” Angela said. Angela felt bad lying, but knew what she had to do. At tribal council, Devon said that he definitely felt some heat getting votes from Ronnie and Tijuana last tribal, but hoped his camp help would save him. Ronnie said that he was definitely on the outs, but hoped that this would give him a chance to be a swing vote in someone else’s plan, rather than the easy vote. Brendan said that he was definitely annoyed by some people’s decision to eat instead of play. “I just think it’s nobler to play, but of course, we’re all human, and we’ll just start fresh tomorrow,” Brendan said…”I’m excited to see how this vote goes.” Michelle tried not to laugh, knowing her alliance was voting for Brendan. After the votes, it was revealed that Brendan got four votes and Kenny got four votes. It came down to Ronnie and Angela’s votes. They both went for…Kenny. Kenny was blindsided and couldn’t believe that he didn’t see it coming. “Ronnie, you’re playing dirty,” Kenny said. Michelle looked around to see who flipped, and realized it was Angela. “What the hell Angela?” Michelle asked. Tyler realized he was once again in the minority and was upset. Kenny became the second member of the jury.
