PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: A shakeup of the tribes sent previous allies on teams with each other, and some enemies as well. The Victory tribe was comprised of two previous Victory members, Kass and Joel, and four previous Triumph members, Marty, Brenda, Kirby, and Nadiya. Marty was just on the outs of the JT vote, and was looking forward to maybe striking up something new with Kass or Joel. Kirby, knowing he was the only non-Survivor contestant on a tribe with all of them made him hungry for an idol. He knew where Vanessa’s idol was hidden in the Triumph beach and decided to look for it in the same place, and sure enough, there was an idol for him. Kirby was happy that he had an extra security blanket. On the Triumph tribe, Abe was the only one carrying over, feeling like his game was refreshed and new. Alina, Erik, Nemo, Cydney, and Taj all agreed that if they lost, they’d vote out Abe, but Erik, Cydney, and Taj all had a previous alliance and thought it might be smart to team up and use Abe to get rid of either Nemo or Alina. Nemo had his idol from the past week, but Abe knew he wanted safety as well, and decided to go searching in the trees, and happened to stumble upon his own idol! He was ecstatic that he had some safety in his pocket. The new Glory tribe was comprised of Andrea, Vanessa, and Cirie, who all voted together in the last vote, and Dylan, Glenn, and Alexis, who were on a tribe together. They all just hoped they could stay strong, but Andrea wanted to secure her three some safety, and decided to go searching for an idol, to find it behind a rock by the well. She was surprised she found one so quickly. At the challenge, it was clear that Andrea was hungry for her first win, and she made sure the Glory tribe got their act together. In a water relay race, it was clear that Andrea and Dylan were a force to be reckoned with, as they led Glory to first. Joel and Brenda also led their team to a close second. As for Triumph, Cydney and Erik were the leaders, but couldn’t hang with the rest. Nemo was hoping because he was good in water, he’d be an asset, but had trouble with some of the obstacles. Back at camp, Alina approached her past Victory members, and told them that Abe was an easy boot. Cydney, however, thought Alina was a tough competitor, and wanted to use this chance to get her out. Erik thought Nemo was a bigger liability, but Cydney knew that they could probably control Nemo going further. Erik filled Abe in on the plan, and Abe was happy that he probably didn’t need to use his idol tonight. At tribal council, Alina said they lucked out having a 5-1 advantage in their new tribe. Abe hoped he could get some luck coming his way. When the vote was revealed, Abe received the first two votes, but Alina got the next four, shocking her, and ending her Survivor Champs journey shorter than she had wished.
