PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The jury got to speak to Wanda and T’Challa. Bruce was first and asked Wanda how reliant her game was on her own hands. Wanda said that since the Tony boot, she has been playing her own game and had to fight to stay every single week. She said that Natasha was a good partner, but every decision she made was for herself. Clark was next and asked Wanda why it was more honorable to vote out him than the Joker at final 10. Wanda said that the Joker never stood a chance at winning the game, and at that point, he was the strongest one left. Clark asked if she would change anything going forward, and Wanda said that she stood by every decision she made. Harley was next and asked Wanda why she wouldn’t stick with the vote to boot T’Challa, and if she regrets not voting him out now that he was sitting next to her in the end. Wanda said that she 100% stood by keeping T’Challa because he was only really a threat in immunities. Wanda said how she wanted to work with the girls, but Harley was a much bigger threat than anyone realized. Barry was next and asked T’Challa what he did beyond winning a few challenges? He said that challenges were an important part of the game, and that he also had to overcome seeing big threats like Bruce and Clark picked off back to back. He knew that he was emerging as a threat and needed to change up his game and go with the flow and let people like Natasha and Diana take the slack for it. Victor was next and said that Wanda was one of the only Marvel people to truly get to know him, and he appreciated that. He asked T’Challa why he didn’t try to bond with the DC bunch. T’Challa said that had the numbers been more even, he would have, but he needed to work with Marvel people to advance in the game. Diana was next and apologized to T’Challa for trying to blindside him and Peter, as it only got her sent home. She asked what his biggest strategic move was in the game. T’Challa said that finding idols with Peter was how he was able to play best, but Diana combated it saying that the idols were all Peter’s, not his. T’Challa defended himself again, saying that he and Peter decided how to use those idols together. Joker was next and told T’Challa and Wanda that they were both pretty pathetic players, and he will not be voting for either of them to win, but rather one of them to lose. Natasha was next and commended T’Challa on playing an honest, honorable game. She then asked Wanda why she would flip on her closest ally? Wanda said that Natasha had no question taken away the victory if she made it to the end. Wanda said that the only way she could establish herself as the best was by taking out the best, who happened to be her partner in crime. She then apologized, telling Natasha that she respected her more than anyone else in the game. Peter was last and said he would be T’Challa’s champion this week, but commended Wanda on a game well played.
