PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Corbin was upset that Aly and Kareem jumped ship so quickly, but tried to lay low, not wanting to make the target on his back any bigger than Michael and Apolo’s. Aly had a heart to heart with Kate, someone she trusted and respected very much, which caused Kareem to be a bit wary. “I see how Kate acts like the mother to everyone here, and it’s very scary considering Aly is my biggest ally here,” he said. Kareem talked to Corbin about it, and Corbin saw this as the opportunity to get Michael and Apolo back in, and take out the alliance of Kate, Dylan, Jack, and Jodie. At the challenge, it was a race through mud, sand, water, and finishing in a traditional corn maze. The stamina was running low for most people, but Dylan, not ever winning an individual immunity, was able to pull it out for the win. He breathed a major sigh of relief, for this was the first time he was going to be going to a tribal council completely safe. Apolo was the obvious next target, seeing how strong he was. Apolo and Michael were definitely worried for their fates, and tried approaching Kareem. Kareem said that Kate was worrying him in the game, and he’d like to take her out next. Corbin was in on the move too, and Corbin was ecstatic that he’d finally be able to take control of the game. Aly and Kareem talked, and Kareem tried to keep the vote a secret from Aly, but eventually felt bad lying to her, and told her that Kate was next to go. Aly was shocked, and decided to take matters into her own hands. At tribal council, Aly brought up Corbin and Kareem’s plan, sending Corbin into a bit of a panic. Corbin realized that Kareem snitched and got mad at Kareem. Kareem said that he just wanted to do the right thing for his ally. Not knowing what to make of it, Kate stepped forward. “Listen, I’m older, I have not proven to be a challenge threat. Michael and Apolo, I will make you an offer. Let’s just all vote out the real biggest threat here. Vote out Corbin, with us, and get out the far stronger player. He’s in on everyone’s plans, he’s good in challenges. And he stirs the pot, let’s vote him out tonight.” Dylan, Jodie, and Jack agreed that this was a good plan, opposed to originally voting for Apolo like they wanted to. Corbin made a plea to vote out Kareem, because he was the most likely to spill the beans. Kareem interjected, “hell, I’ll just join in and vote Corbin with all of you if Michael and Apolo can agree to it.” Corbin looked devastated, realizing that Kareem had ruined his game. When the votes were read, Corbin received all the votes, and Kareem received one from Corbin. Devastated, Corbin saw his torch snuffed, and walked the walk of shame to the jury house.
