ok hi so list season is coming up!! and as an ESTEEMED player of TSC (not #turkeylover's thrilling blog music taste series, i mean the inferior long running group game Tengaged Song Contest), i feel the need to validate myself for my perfect music taste by highlighting the songs i liked the most this year from this contest.
however, i don't have the patience to rank my favorite 100 TSC entries (tried this last yr and it didn't go well), so for my year end retrospective list i will be stealing #insanity's (at least i think it was her?) concept of singling out a handful of songs that some of my fellow TSC players sent and talking about them individually, but with a few tweaks. i will be covering more than one song for each of these players (unless you flopped and only sent one song i playlisted) and, unlike the original blog series i'm stealing this from, i intend on finishing this list!
i won't be covering any entries that break the charting and eurovision rules, and i won't be covering players that sent like once or twice this year, obviously.
i'll begin by talking about honorable mentions (so players that only had one song i wanted to highlight) before moving onto the people that sent (and in some cases, STOLE) some of my favorite music of 2021.
