Oh, how time flies! I can't believe it's been 10 YEARS since I came across this site and enrolled in my first game. I won't forget the thrill of making it the end of that game — back then, castings were actually very strategic, people were super active, alliances were formed, and you had to vote people out and strategically plus and neg people to make it to the end.
Fast forward a year and I enrolled and won my first stars. I instantly went from someone who mostly kept to themselves and their games, staying out of the spotlight, to a name that most people recognized on the site. I went on to win 4 more stars and then things started getting busier with work and life. I'm sure a bunch of you won't recognize me now, but I used to play and do pretty well at a lot of these games. I always joined without premade alliances because I enjoyed meeting and working with new people and always disliked when people had to rely on joining with their friends.
I still visit the site from time to time because I like to read the reality TV-related stuff when the shows are on, and I also check out the top blogs to try and keep up with what's going on with the site. It's sad to see the state it's been in for the last few years since my departure, but I hope that things can improve someday! Despite this site having a relatively bad reputation in the online reality gaming universe, I still have fond memories of this place and, for me, this was one of the best places I came across online where I could find a community that celebrates and welcomes LGBTQ+ individuals at a time when I was still discovering everything about my own sexuality.
Regardless of what your own reasons for using Tengaged are, I hope that this site helps you and provides as much joy to you as much as it to did me.
