SURVIVOR: RIVALS Episode 11

Apr 9, 2020 by SurvivorGames
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: In the final Redemption Island battle before the merge, Colby and Domenick had to balance a pot at the end of a long pole that they held. Whoever dropped first was out, whoever didn’t was in the merge. After a long, sweaty, strenuous face-off, Domenick dropped, ending his chances of winning, and Colby earned a spot in the merged Rivals tribe. At camp, Corinne and Chris knew they had to infiltrate their way back into the group, and approached Terry. Terry told them how Sugar and Francesca had blindsided him, and Corinne was furious. “I’m one of two rival duos still here, and I’d love to send Sugar home,” she said. Sugar and Francesca grouped up with Abi. “We are the three underdogs,” Sugar said, “and we need to stick together.” Francesca said that their best bet was trying to work with Colby, since Colby was wronged by Chris and Corinne. Francesca talked to Colby, and Colby said he really wanted revenge on Corinne and Chris. Fabio and Alison could see these groupings going on, and Russell talked to them that the three of them could lie under the radar, but Alison really didn’t want to trust Russell. Russell regrouped with Sugar, his original ally, and found out that she was working with Francesca and Abi. “This is the best case scenario,” Russell said, “because I don’t think Francesca, Abi, or Sugar have a chance or winning this game.” Colby talked with Fabio, and Fabio told him that he and Alison didn’t really have a plan, and Colby said he’d love to work with Fabio and Alison. Angelina didn’t really want to work with Russell, and approached Alison, but when Alison was a bit quiet, Angelina said she needed a new plan and talked to Corinne about working together. “The more numbers the better,” Corinne said. At the immunity challenge, the contestants had to shoot balls through a slingshot, trying to hit bottles filled with paint. The first five people to hit theirs would advance to the final round. Terry, Fabio, Colby, Russell, and Alison were the first five. In the next round, they had to hit three. Colby, Terry, and Fabio hit theirs, advancing to the final round. IN the final round, they had to nail 10 bottles. Terry was off to a lead, but Colby was able to come back and win immunity. Back at camp, Corinne, Chris, Terry, and Angelina agreed to vote for Sugar next, and hoped that they could try to get Fabio or Alison’s votes. Meanwhile, Sugar approached her alliance of Francesca, Abi, and Russell and said that she wanted to vote for Corinne. Angelina approached Alison with the plan to vote out Sugar, while Russell approached both Fabio and Alison with the plan to get Corinne. Fabio and Alison talked to Colby, asking where his head was at. Colby wanted to go after Corinne for voting him out, but didn’t know if he wanted to work with Russell or Sugar, two people he had bad history with in the past. At tribal council, Terry said that it was clear that Sugar and Corinne were definitely going at it, and one of them would probably go home. Colby said he was in a tough spot because he had bad blood with Corinne and Chris this season, but had bad blood with people like Russell and Sugar in past seasons. Russell said that he felt like this vote was going to shift the tide of the tribe and put some top dogs on the bottom. Corinne argued, saying that she would still be open to working with Russell but Russell never approached him. “Because I don’t need to,” Russell said to Corinne. Corinne was getting annoyed. Terry interrupted, saying that Russell shouldn’t be starting paranoia, and that Sugar was on the outs and should be the easy vote. It was time to see which of the rivals of Sugar and Corinne would prevail. After the votes, nobody played their idols. The first four votes went toward Corinne, while the next four votes were for Sugar. The last three votes were up to Fabio, Alison, and Colby. Colby ended up voting for Corinne, as did Fabio and Alison, sending Corinne to redemption island. Colby knew that Corinne was responsible for his elimination and wanted to repay the favor. Sugar got her rival, Corinne, out, and now the only rivalry left in the game was Alison and Angelina.
