PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The jury got to speak to Cirie and Kirby. Vanessa was first, and commended both on a spectacular season, but wanted to commend Cirie on being someone who didn’t need to rely on challenges to succeed, and made it far with bonds she made with people. Kass was next and asked Kirby what his big game move was and Kirby said that it was laying low under the radar. Kass was annoyed that Kirby couldn’t come up with one move, and then asked Cirie the same thing. Cirie said that getting rid of Dylan was huge, and she used all the information about idols to allow her to pin her votes on the right person. Joel approached the final two next and asked Cirie why she decided that he was the strongest one left, and Cirie said that Joel had the longest time since winning to focus and strengthen up, and people would eventually underestimate him to the point where it would be too late to take him out. Joel said he was hurt by it, but understood completely why it was the best move for her game, as she was the one sitting there. Alexis was next and asked Cirie if she would ever work with her if she hadn’t lost the challenge and been sent home. Cirie honestly answered no, knowing how strong she and Dylan were as a pair. Alexis asked Kirby why he hasn’t been owning all the idol plays he made this season, but Kirby said that he wanted to be remembered for being well liked as well at the end of the day. Dylan was next and asked Cirie how much of her game was dictated by Andrea, and Cirie said that Andrea was the shield she needed, because while Andrea was finding idols, winning comps, and getting votes, Cirie could sit back and plan ahead for her next move. Nemo was next and told everyone how proud he was of both Cirie and Kirby, but told Kirby that he was his friend from the start of when they played together, and he wanted to thank him for being a best friend to him on the island once they merged. Kirby said “you’re welcome.” Andrea was next and asked Cirie if she would’ve taken her to the finals if they had made it there, and Cirie said honestly that there was no way she would’ve beaten Andrea, but would’ve taken her chances. Andrea said that she was glad she was voted out so she could give a second million dollars to Cirie. Abe was next and said that he didn’t think Cirie’s big move was kind at the end, because she turned a friend against him, but questioned Kirby as to why he would flip on him. Kirby simply said that he was following orders, and didn’t ever think it would be as heartbreaking as it was to send his friend home. Brenda was last and asked Kirby why he thought he could win against Cirie. Kirby said that he thought Cirie played a better game. Brenda called it idiotic, asking Cirie who she would’ve taken if she had won. Cirie said she would’ve taken Brenda if it was between Brenda and Kirby, because Kirby had too many friends in the jury.
