SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS- REVAMPED Finale Part 4 (Reunion Show)

Jan 17, 2019 by SurvivorGames
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR:  The jury got to speak to Kass and Natalie. Keith was first and asked Natalie why she’d try to reteam the San Juan del Sur folks only to backstab them in the end. Natalie said that she wanted to play her own game, and having Keith, Kelley, and Jaclyn there really threw a wrench in her whole season. Keith said that he felt Natalie had really committed to being a villain this time around, and he didn’t like it as much or respect her game as much as her prior one. Sabrina was next and asked Natalie why she was the plan for elimination and not someone stronger. Natalie said that Sabrina was one of the most likable people and was one of few people who knew how to make it to the end. She needed to play with people like Angelina and Kass who only got to third place. Kass said that her idol was the reason Sabrina was sitting there, and Sabrina should reward the game move she made, because it was able to stir the game in a whole new direction. Michael was next and did applaud Kass, saying that her idol was what was able to get the Villains their momentum, and people like Sabrina and Aubry should be honored that they went home after such a big move was made. “While I don’t like you personally as much as Natalie,” Michael said, “I think you made much bigger, blatant moves that should be rewarded.” Jessica was next and asked Natalie if she would have honored her word to Jessica until the end, since Natalie was the one who pulled her in. Natalie said that Jessica was her biggest choice to take to the end, because she felt like Jessica and Natalie had the same amount of target on their backs to whole time, Jessica coming in halfway through and Natalie being a past winner. “I think it’s always easy to vote against a winner, and vote against someone who only played for half the time…so it would’ve made for a much fairer final,” she said. Jaclyn was next and agreed with Keith, saying that Natalie should’ve just been honest and open, and not pulled her and Kelley along on a thread. She then asked why she was the target, and Kass was honest that her tribal council was crazy, and the Heroes splitting was the primary reason she got the backlash. “I could sense who was finding idols, and who wasn’t, so we had to peg our votes on someone we thought didn’t have one, and it was you,” Kass said. Malcolm was next and asked Natalie why she held back in challenges, and Natalie said that she didn’t want to come out as a huge competitive threat, and even be considered for elimination. Malcolm said he didn’t really respect that, but also had a hard time voting for Kass, who was literally always on the chopping block and didn’t really fight beyond idols. Kass said, “listen, I’m not the type of person who can come and win a big challenge. I play Kass’ game, and for me, I played the best game I possibly could. Natalie didn’t show the best of her ability. The game is Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast, and I outplayed Kass from the past…Natalie could’ve outplayed everyone, but held back cowardly.” This caused an argument with Natalie, saying that she won the challenge that mattered, but Kass said that a true champion would try to win as much as possible. Aubry was next and said she didn’t care about challenge wins, and that Natalie did something nobody could do and knew where to vote every single tribal, even in the pre-merge, and asked how Kass would have survived had she not found idols. “I wouldn’t have, but that’s Survivor. You need to find idols, and the times I wasn’t on the right side of the vote, I hustled to make relationships or find idols. In the final five, I knew I wasn’t on the right side of the numbers, but I swayed the vote to make it my majority, and that meant you going home,” she told Aubry. Angelina was next and asked why Natalie decided to stick with Kass over her or Kelley in the end. Natalie said that Angelina had annoyed her by trying to take too much credit, and she thought Angelina had made better relationships with the jurors. She also thought Kelley was simple, being that she was a hero and the jury was made up of mostly Heroes. Kelley was next and asked how Kass and Natalie played into the theme of the season. Natalie said that she appeared Heroic, while trying to be Villainous behind the scenes, because she knew being a villain out front would make her a much bigger target, since she previously won. Kass said that being a villain made it easier to get by, as the Chaos was understood, and she was able to use that to become less of a threat, because people thought she was just playing a character.

In the end, the voting turned out like this:

Keith- Kass
Sabrina- Kass
Michael- Kass

Aubry- Natalie
Angelina- Natalie
Kelley- Natalie
