PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Peter was all on his own, and figured to sit back and let the big dogs target each other as his strategy. Ali, Gonzalez, Alexis, and Morgan agreed that if Peter lost, he’d be going home. At the immunity challenge, the group participated in a series of challenges: brain, brawn, and agility. The first contest was to finish a puzzle. First 6 to win went on to next round. Second part was to throw balls at tiles from slingshot in hopes of getting three tiles shattered. First 3 moved on to final challenge where they had to run on a balance beam maze to the finish. After the puzzle, Peter, Brian, Gonzalez, Brice, Morgan, and Ali were moving on. Then, in the Brawn challenge, only Peter, Morgan, and Brian were moving on. IN the final challenge, Morgan was first to finish, giving her immunity. Peter talked to Gonzalez and told her that this would be the time to use him as a vote to get rid of a big threat like Brian, since he was the smartest of him, Brice, and Ramona. Gonzalez talked to her alliance. Morgan really didn’t want to do it, but Gonzalez fought her, telling her that Brian was a huge threat. Morgan, not happy about this, took matters into her own hands and told Brian that he was the target. Brian told Morgan the secret that he had an idol, and told Morgan to vote for Gonzalez. Brian then told Brice and Ramona the plan, and Brice and Ramona were on board. At tribal council, Peter made it sound like he was going home to try not to give the Brian blindside away, but everyone was even more blindsided when before the votes were read, Brian played his idol. Ali looked shocked, thinking she was the only one with an idol, while Gonzalez looked pissed, but figured Peter would just be going home anyway, expecting Brian to vote for Peter. Ali wanted to play hers, but also assumed Peter would be going home now. When the votes were read, Peter, Ali, Gonzalez, and Alexis voted for Brian, which did not count. Ramona, Brian, Brice, and even Morgan voted for Gonzalez, sending her home in a shocking blindside. Gonzalez was mad, and Ali was relieved she didn’t go home with an idol, but now knew that her alliance was broken.
