PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Colby and his brother had a fight about the idol. Colby couldn’t believe that Reed spilled the beans about it. Cirie, Jared, Lauren, and Tarzan met and discussed that Colby or Reed should be the next to go, and that they’d split the votes for both of them. At the immunity challenge, Cirie pulled off another victory with an incredible performance on the puzzle. Cirie was overwhelmed with how much she was able to accomplish this season. Back at camp, the four discussed that Cirie and Jared would put their votes on Colby, and Tarzan and Lauren would put their votes on Reed, and in a tie, they’d vote out Colby. Colby knew that people weren’t talking to him and Reed, and decided to talk to Cirie. “Cirie, you’re my last hope. I think we need to join together and take out Tarzan,” he said. He could tell that he and his brother were in danger, but he didn’t want to waste his idol when he knew there were possibly more out there. At tribal council, Colby said that he didn’t know what he was going to do, because at the end of the day, he knew either him or his brother would probably be going home. When asked, Reed looked at Colby and nodded. Colby debated using his idol, but then decided against it. This surprised most of the group. When the votes were read, Colby received two votes from Cirie and Jared, Tarzan received a vote from Reed, and Reed received two votes from Lauren and Tarzan. In the biggest shocker of the season, Colby voted out Reed in order to keep himself safe and not have to play his idol. Reed embraced his brother on the way out, knowing that this was the only way for one of them to advance to the final four. Reed was proud that he made it so far, and wished the group luck. Jared was the last Loved One left, and was shocked that Colby didn’t play the idol.
