This site is becoming extinct. I remember back in 2014, there were hundreds of Tengager’s that were so extremely active. Flash forward 5 years and we are left with maybe 75-100 total active users (most of those only to log on for bets and stay in touch).
I just passed my 5-year TG anniversary 10 days ago, and I honestly forgot to blog about it because there’s just nothing special about this site anymore for me to care.
I think that even if randomize hires new moderation, it wouldn’t even matter at this point. Most people who enjoyed this site are gone, and I find it very hard to believe that we will be seeing a lot of new faces.
As of right now, I see this site going completely extinct in about 2-3 years, and that’s only because there’s like 5-10 people who seem to never log off (Drop an @ if you’d like).
I might leave tg soon, or go on another 6 month hiatus to see if anything improves. I just have no hope for this site anymore.
I would leave but the Roblox community here is STRONG and keeps me up to date with things like new games j would've never discovered on my own. It's crazy how quickly it died tho. In a span of a few months I feel like it dropped 80% activity
It’s dead because there’s never any major updates and the site isn’t advertised. Tengaged is pretty much the same as it was YEARS ago with a few minor changes.
I've been involved with sites previously where the owner goes AWOL and it looks like its on the decline. The honest answer is that such sites can survive, however it falls to the members to revive it. I don't believe that this is impossible.
User-energised marketing drives, with constant promotion through social media, at the same time to encourage trending, perhaps during the current episodes of the show "Watching #BB21 whilst playing my own game of Big Brother on tengaged - wish more people knew about it!" - these things can really work.
Secondly, the site seems to be full of people who are watching/reading/designing, but not playing. I see lots of people complaining about, for instance, how slow frookies are to fill. But they're not joining them, because they might lose their T$. To me, if you have the T$ to spare, the solution is just to enter everything. Populate the games and create a buzz. If you end up being an inact in 1 or 2 so be it - I pretty much start all of them now, and if I lose currency, whatevs.
Finally, if people DO have complaints, they need to try and frame them more positively. This one's OK, but "OMG THE SITE IS DEAD" only perpetuates the idea that this is a site not worth persisting in. Think of small things you can do to make it user-driven.
These are my experiences, and you're free to disagree with me, but I truly believe that a concerted effort by all members would give this place a massive lift.
Agh ive been here since like 2010-2011 and its certainley gone down hill , even two years ago it was fairly active, its just the old faces now which is nice in a way but no new people can build there accs because theres barely anyone around ... i miss old tg

gagaluv even if the site is promoted, it still wouldn’t last due to the terrible contents of this site. There is so much bullying and trolling here, the games are always vacant, and I for one wouldn’t want anybody I know personally on this site. I wouldn’t subject any of them to this site.
