It's been brought to our attention that some users are having issues with various aspects of the website. Thanks to BbDamian for bringing it to my attention!
I have sent randomize an email with a preliminary outline of the issues. However, I am not having any issues (as of yet), so I am not sure of the specifics of the problems.
The issues I have been notified of are:
- Issues associated with plussing and negging in blogs and games.
- Issues with testing designs in labs and changing avatars.
- Issues with navigating the user menu (avatar picture) in the top right corner.
- Issues with veto in Frookies and changing votes in Survivor.
- Login related issues (particularly on mobile, I believe)
Could those of you who are experiencing any issues please outline them in this blog? Please do so even if the issue is already included in the blog so I can understand how widespread the issues are. I will update this blog with the specific issues.
I'll send another outline of the specific issues to randomize tonight and update you all on when they get resolved.
EDIT: I think it is some form of network glitch that is causing the website to load slower for some (and therefore making certain "buttons" not usable). If you stay on one page and let the website load for a bit of time (until there is no "loading" icon on your tab in Chrome, for example), the buttons do become usable. Obviously this is not a long-term fix, though, as it's impacting games, etc.
Happy new year to you all! It's been some time since the moderation team has hosted some special events, so I thought that I would give you all some extra fun for this evening.
----- Special Event #1: Special Frookies ------
The next two Frookies to fill will have additional prizes. The next two are the one that will fill AFTER the castings that is currently filling (#221111 -- which is also a 20 post!) and the one that will fill after the next open Fastings.
To spice things up and change the dynamic of the game slightly, 3rd place will get the best prize in both games. The prizes are as follows:
1st place: An additional 150T$
2nd place: An additional 75T$
3rd place: An additional 200T$ + A Stars Ticket.
In addition to the two special Frookies, I have gone ahead and hid three prizes around the website. They are currently all hidden on a user's first blog. It can be either an active or inactive user.
The prizes are as follows:
PRIZE #1: 200T$ (CLAIMED BY Delano)
PRIZE #2: A Stars Ticket (CLAIMED BY Delete2544)
Prize #3: 300T$ + A Stars Ticket (CLAIMED BY smi9127)
In order to claim one of the prizes, you must find the blog and return to this blog and link it. The first player to claim each prize wins. To make things a bit more interesting, you are only able to claim one prize. If you claim more than one prize, only the first one will count.
As the night goes on, I may give hints if people are really struggling.

As many of you likely know, Stars enrollment is glitched because of daylight savings time. I've let randomize know about the DST glitch but it will work itself out if not manually fixed when the clocks change again.
This time last year, enrollment opened around 5:45PM EST at Diamond and will gradually go down from there, with it reaching Gold level around 6:00PM EST.
I now have received word from randomize that the issues around T$ purchases are now resolved. PayPal will likely reprocess the payments from those who purchased T$ in the last 48-72 hours and will automatically add to your T$ balance once that is complete.

I want to personally thank 3pi14159 and nmh95 for their help in the planning of the race. I also want to thank Rebelman2227 for helping with the tracking of accounts for the rankingpurposes. Whether you enjoyed the Race, it was definitely a learning experience from an event-hosting perspective. Thank you to everybody who participated and to those who provided feedback.
Some final notes:
- Please let moderation know your choice regarding returning to your main account or staying on your Race to Gold account. The information on this can be found in this blog: https://tengaged.com/blog/brandonpinzu/9956854/mod-race-gold-accounts
- Any activity that is not approved by moderation (such as the above) on racing accounts going forward will result in a ban. This includes using your T$ from your Race to Gold in any prohibited way that was outlined in the sign-up blog (such as gifting your main account). - Bannings will come throughout the next couple of days. Any accounts that are clearly no longer being used will be permanently banned. After a few days, if we have not heard from you regarding your racing account, it will be permanently banned.

With Race to Gold slowly but surely coming to an end, I have been receiving a number of questions about whether individuals who registered to participate in Race to Gold would have the option of staying on their new accounts, rather than returning to their main accounts.
The moderation team has decided that individuals will be allowed to make a decision on if they would like to keep their Race to Gold account. At that time, any activity on their main account is prohibited. A ban will likely go in place on the main account to ensure that there will be no access for the first 7 days. After that, users are free to use their racing accounts as their new accounts. They may only switch back if they log out for 7 days before returning to their main account (and vice versa). Any violation of this rule will result in a temporary ban on their main account and their Race to Gold account being permanently banned.
If you are thinking you may want to stay active on your Race to Gold account rather than return to your main account, please send a message to myself, CheapCheep and koolness234.
ONLY individuals who FINISHED the race (people who were not disqualified and were still a part of the race when the 3rd and final winner was crowned) will have the option of using their racing accounts. Any disqualified accounts will be banned all at once at the end of the race. At this time, if an individual has not expressed an interest to stay on their Race to Gold account, those accounts will also be banned.
Once the event is complete, a full list of racing accounts will be posted alongside the names of the main accounts. If there are any questions, let us know.
