Hello and welcome to Special Stars!! This announcement is to inform you all of the two twists... which are.... TARGETS AND TRIOS!
Before we begin getting into the specifics of the game, please note that we recognize that the specifics of the game can get confusing depending on how things play out. As always, reach out if you have any questions and we will provide any clarification.
Momentarily, each player will receive the name of their target in Tengaged mails. This target will be random and will change every day.
Additionally, each player except for one of you will start out in a trio, which will be mailed to you shortly. You will know who is in your trio, but the other trios will not be announced publicly. It is your choice whether or not to tell the others about your trio. The trios will not be changing every day.
The odd player out will be “The Snake,” who’s goal is to ensure that no trio gets 2 of their targets nominated.
REWARDS:
- If a player successfully nominates their target, they will receive an extra target (so they will target two people) the next day.
- If any trio gets two of their targets nominated, the whole trio will receive immunity the following day.
- If your trio wins immunity due to your target going up, you will get an extra target. Since you are immune, you also will not be targeted by anybody. This will publicly reveal your trio, but it also ensures your safety.
PUNISHMENTS:
- If a player in your trio is nominated, then you will be targeted twice (i.e. two separate people will target you) unless both of your other trio members are nominated, then you will be targeted 3 times (in both cases, you will still target one person)
- If you are nominated, you will not be able to target anyone, but also nobody will target you.
"THE SNAKE":
Because the Snake’s goal is to ensure that no trio gets 2/3 of their targets nominated, the number of people the Snake will target/number of people who will target the snake will be based on who is nominated and who successfully nominated their target. Rules are as follows:
- If the snake successfully gets their target nominated, the snake will be immune, which will reveal the snake.
- If a trio gets 2/3 of their targets nominated: snake gets 1 target, 1 person targets snake.
- If no trio gets 2/3 of their targets nominated: snake gets 3 targets, 1 person targets snake.
- If a player gets nominated from a broken-up trio: - 1 target for each eliminated member.
In very rare cases (depending on how the game plays out), the math may not always add up for # targets/# targeted. In this case, we will open a 30 minute Public Target poll where the x number of people with the most votes will be targeted an additional time.
PRIZES:
1ST PLACE: The winner of this Stars will receive an additional 1,000T$.
2ND PLACE: The winner of this Stars will receive an additional 500T$
3RD PLACE: The winner of this Stars will receive an additional 300T$.
TL;DR:
- If your trio succeeds in getting their individual targets up, your trio can get immunity.
- If members of your trio get nominated, you and have a higher chance at being targeted by others
- The snake is powerful, yet also at significant risk if they fail to achieve their goal.

I'm laughing really hard people always ask for Special Stars or something to make that game interesting (it's not interesting at a base level and it won't be just because of the twist, but that's another conversation) and then you come up with some crazy twist and they're like "this is too confusing can we just play normal stars"
