Not much has happened after the HoH competition was over as Kara & Shane are aware that their deal with Kalia & Dominic is now in question after they tried to flip the vote and keep Helen. Meanwhile, Dominic plans to put up Kara & Shane (which has not been done since week 2), hoping that one of them will be evicted this week.
Nominees (pre-veto): Kara, Shane
Before the players were selected, Braden decided to use the Lockout on Shane, believing he has ties with both Britney and Kara, and assumed he was the leader of the three.
Braden, Britney, Kalia, and GinaMarie were selected to play for the veto.
As the only HouseGuest not selected to play, David was the host by default.
PoV Winner: GinaMarie
As Kara placed 2nd to GinaMarie in the veto competition, Dominic and Kalia contemplated keeping Shane over Kara this week. They told GinaMarie of this (Dominic and Kalia still think they can trust GinaMarie), and also that she should not use the veto this week. However, GinaMarie does not want anything to do with Kalia or Dominic as they were responsible for Nick's eviction (as well as Aaryn's, but we all know of GinaMarie's obsession with Nick).
Most of the house thought that GinaMarie would not use the veto this week and leave Dominic's nominations intact. However, with the intention of throwing off Dominic & Kalia's plan to get Kara out first, GinaMarie used the veto on Kara. In Kara's place, Dominic chose Britney as the replacement nominee.
With the plan to blindside Kara out the window, Dominic, Kalia and Braden decided to settle on getting Shane out. Meanwhile, Shane told Kara that if GinaMarie and David are not voting out Britney, she should vote with the majority. Kara's decision comes down to where David and GinaMarie are voting. David views Shane as a bigger threat than Britney, but GinaMarie wants Shane to stay so they could go after Kalia & Dominic next week.
