Although surviving the previous eviction, Helen still feels uneasy as Matthew would also be trying to target her.  Meanwhile, Danielle is now confused as to why Helen survived the vote since it appeared to be a landslide eviction.  It was unknown to them about who flipped since they thought Brittany and Amber would be voting with them to return the favor and Helen denounced her loyalty to Zach.

Instead of attempting damage control, Brittany decides to tell Matthew & his alliance (with Toya, Danielle and Ashleigh) that she and Amber did keep their word and that Helen's blowup with Zach must be some cover for a secret alliance.  Matthew started getting confused as to who's lying about their votes to evict Pav; he is unsure about whether Helen and Zach do have a secret alliance or if Brittany teamed up with Helen.  Despite this, Matthew decided that Helen would be his target this week.

Matthew has nominated Helen and Nicole for eviction.

Matthew nominated Nicole as a pawn to secure Helen's eviction, but would become the new target if Helen won the veto since he doesn't know where he stands with her.

Unlike last week, there would be no chance for Brittany to keep Helen if nominations stay the same as she wouldn't have the numbers; the best that could happen is a tie with Matthew likely evicting Helen.  Meanwhile, Zach has revealed to Matthew and he and Cody did vote Helen out.  Although Matthew still doesn't know who between Brittany and Zach was telling the truth, he is starting to lose trust in Brittany.  Ashleigh, Danielle and Toya are also starting to question Brittany, but while Ashleigh and Danielle still think she could be swayed back once Helen is gone, Toya doesn't want to take any chances as she confirms to Cody and Zach that she cannot trust her anymore and that she wants to work with them.

--PoV Draw--
Matthew: Toya
Helen: Amber
Nicole: Donny

Matthew chose Ashleigh to host the competition.

--PoV Competition--
For this competition, the HouseGuests will be asked to estimate the number of each objects shown in each of the stands, with a smaller display next to it.  Each round, the HouseGuests can choose to either stay or fold.  The ones who stay will be eligible to win a point, but are also eligible to be eliminated.  The HouseGuest closest to the correct answer will win one point, while the one who answers the furthest will be eliminated.  The first HouseGuest to three points, the HouseGuest leading after 7 rounds OR the last one standing will win the Power of Veto.

ROUND 1:
Matthew: 1539 [fold]
Helen: 1740
Donny: 1762 [fold]
Toya: 2969 [fold]
Amber: 1908 [fold]
Nicole: 238 [fold]

Answer: 915

Since everyone except Helen folded, Helen automatically gets her first point. Had Matthew not folded, he would have earned that point instead.

ROUND 2:
Matthew: 2198 [fold]
Helen: 1180
Donny: 763 [fold]
Toya: 96 [fold]
Amber: 1009 [fold]
Nicole: 1069

Answer: 432

Nicole gets her first point.  Helen is eliminated.

ROUND 3:
Matthew: 2845 [fold]
Donny: 813
Toya: 318 [fold]
Amber: 2992
Nicole: 2636 [fold]

Answer: 1909

Amber gets her first point.  Donny is eliminated.

ROUND 4:
Matthew: 2795 [fold]
Toya: 2842
Amber: 2712 [fold]
Nicole: 2168

Answer: 2833

Toya gets her first point.  Nicole is eliminated.

ROUND 5:
Matthew: 2412
Toya: 2084
Amber: 1862 [fold]

Answer: 2272

Matthew gets his first point.  Toya is eliminated.

ROUND 6:
Matthew: 1467
Amber: 130 [fold]

Answer: 2660

Since Amber folded, Matthew gets his second point

ROUND 7:
Matthew: 1410
Amber: 1040

Both have decided to stay, so a winner will be crowned by the end of this round.

Answer: 252

Congratulations Amber!  You have won the Diamond Power of Veto!

With Amber holding the veto, Helen saw her chance to finally not have to worry about getting evicted as she campaigned to Amber to take her off the block.  Helen was already aware that Amber may have something to do with Pav's eviction.  Amber then told Helen that she and Brittany were the ones that lead the charge to keep her last week.  Helen then tried to sweeten the deal by promising Amber that she would target Zach if she won HoH next week.  However, Brittany tried to talk Amber out of using the veto as it would expose how they voted last week, not knowing that Toya already started plotting against them.  This decision would put a lot of pressure on Amber as it would determine where her loyalty stands (along with Brittany's loyalty).

While taking Helen off the block would be very risky, there could be a way around keep Helen via taking Nicole off the block, but even that would be dangerous.  Taking Nicole off would not make it obvious to Danielle and Ashleigh about who flipped, while taking Helen off would ensure that she would get Mark on board to vote Zach out.

Amber was incredibly tempted to take Helen off the block as a possible ally, but ultimately decided not to use the veto since she wanted to maintain her loyalty to Matthew's alliance.  Helen was told of this ahead of time, who didn't take it as hard as expected as she already admitted defeat last week.

--Cry For Help--
Both Nicole and Helen were called to the Diary Room individually to decide whether to press the button or not.

Being a "superfan", Nicole is aware that the pawn sometimes gets evicted.  For that reason, she decided to press the button.
Although she knew the public wouldn't save her, Helen decided to also press the button.

The Cry for Help has been sent.

As I said in a previous post, all future "Cry for Help" polls would be on polldaddy.  Here are the links (just copy and paste them):
1. Who should be saved?

With the way things are going after the veto ceremony, it would look like Helen would be evicted in a landslide vote.  However, there was a long shot for Brittany to flip the vote and evict Pav.  Should the plan pull through, 4 of the 6 needed votes are guaranteed (Brittany, Amber, Jocasta, Donny).  As things stand right now, Nicole and Mark would be the best options to sway to evict Pav.  While neither initially considered evicting Pav, Mark later decided to pull the trigger after feeling that he doesn't owe Danielle or Ashleigh anything.  On the other hand, Nicole is still feeling uneasy as she is still the deciding vote.

Which way will Nicole go with her vote?  We'll find out in just a bit.  But first, Chris and Frankie have been living in the Halfway House for the past week and now, one will be going home.

--Halfway Faceoff--
In this Halfway Faceoff, both Chris and Frankie are given 14 balls, each with the names of the remaining HouseGuests.  They must roll each ball up a ramp, into one of two holes (one for US, one for UK) and land on a ramp below.  The balls must go down the correct holes.  If a ball goes down an incorrect hole, all balls that went down that hole (including the correct ones) must be removed from the ramp below.  The first HouseGuest to have all balls in the correct ramps will survive another week, while the loser is officially out of the game.  If neither finish within 10 minutes, then the HouseGuest who is in the lead when the time expires will be the winner.

20 seconds:
Chris - 2
Frankie - 0

1 minute:
Chris - 3
Frankie - 2

1 minute 25 seconds:
Chris - 5
Frankie - 4

2 minutes:
Chris - 6
Frankie - 5

2 minutes 30 seconds:
Chris - 6
Frankie - 10

Chris had an early lead against Frankie; that lead is gone with Frankie 4 balls away from potentially winning.

2 minutes 50 seconds:
Chris - 7
Frankie - 12

3 minutes 15 seconds:
Chris - 7
Frankie - 13

3 minutes 25 seconds:
Frankie has all 14 balls in.

They are all correct.  Frankie is the winner of this week's Halfway Faceoff!  Chris is out of the game for good.  Frankie's next faceoff will be against either Pav or Helen.

--Eviction--
The Cry for Help will not be applied since Pav and Helen decided not to push the button.

Helen and Pav, the two nominees, are not allowed to vote, and neither is Danielle, the current Head of Household.

Ashleigh is voting first.

As her closest ally, Ashleigh agreed to stick with Danielle's plan to get Helen out.  Will she stick to the plan?
Ashleigh votes to evict Helen.

All week, Zach was torn between evicting Pav and Helen, but given Helen's recent outburst, his vote should be no surprise.
Zach votes to evict Helen.

Mark has initially sided with Danielle, but has admitted that he may not be as loyal to her as she thought.  Will his vote reflect that?
Mark votes to evict Pav.

Cody sees himself going further with Pav than with Helen, but will his vote show that?
Cody votes to evict Helen.

-3 votes to evict Helen and 1 vote to evict Pav-

Toya has not sided with Pav or Helen, so how will she vote tonight?
Toya votes to evict Helen.

Both Matthew and Toya have been under the radar up to this point. but will he vote the same as her?
Matthew votes to evict Helen.

Brittany has strongly considered blindsiding Pav tonight, but is it worth getting the blood on her hands at this stage?

Jocasta has agreed to go with Brittany's plan given the numbers, but will she really?
Jocasta votes to evict Pav.

Given how Jocasta voted tonight, will Donny do the same?
Donny votes to evict Pav.

All week, Nicole seemed to be evicting Helen, but became very concerned about Cody & Zach choosing Pav over her just minutes before the vote began.  Which way has she decided at this point?

Pav.

By a vote of 6-5, Pav, you are evicted from the Big Brother house.

[While it looked like Pav would be staying, Brittany's plan was a go after Nicole flipped last minute.  In other words, Pav was a victim of the 11th hour flip.]

--HoH Competition--
Danielle, the outgoing Head of Household, is not eligible to compete this week.

This competition is called "Floating Away", and here's how it works.  One at a time, the HouseGuests must roll a ball down the ramp, which will land on a rotating platform below.  30 life savers, with the smaller ones worth more points than the larger ones (points range from 1 to 30 points).  Any space in between is worth 0.  The HouseGuest with the highest score at the end of the competition will become the new Head of Household.

Amber is up first.

Amber: 27
Zach: 10 *Zach is eliminated*
Cody: 26 *Cody is eliminated*
Donny: 21 *Donny is eliminated*
Helen: 11 *Helen is eliminated*
Matthew: 30 *Amber is eliminated; Matthew is now in the lead*
Mark: 25 *Mark is eliminated*
Ashleigh: 7 *Ashleigh is eliminated*
Jocasta: 4 *Jocasta is eliminated*
Nicole: 17 *Nicole is eliminated*
Toya: 27 *Toya is eliminated*

This competition has come down to Matthew and Brittany.
Brittany: 2 *Brittany is eliminated*

Congratulations Matthew!  You are the new Head of Household!

Who will Matthew nominate for eviction and how will the veto change his nominations?  Find out next time.

Big Brother: US vs UK Week 2 Aug 8, 2014

The outcome of the eviction immediately set Helen off, with her being nominated by the viewers in Amber's place, followed by her rival, Danielle, winning HoH.  Shortly after the competition, Helen started questioning her will to continue and threatened to self-evict, with Cody and Pav attempting to talk her out of it.

It is no surprise that Danielle would want to target Helen, but Brittany wasn't a fan of the idea as of now and suggested Zach and Pav instead (with Zach being one of her targets last week and Pav almost winning HoH).  Danielle was also told not to get too rash about who she will nominate in case Helen somehow gets the votes to stay although Danielle doubts this.

--Nomination Ceremony--

Ashleigh

Jocasta

Danielle has nominated Pav and Helen for eviction.

Just as the nomination ceremony ended, another argument erupted between Helen and Danielle, where Helen accused her of being hypocritical as well as nominating for personal reasons.  Shortly after the fight died down, Brittany and Amber decided that evicting Pav over Helen would be a better move since Helen would either target Danielle or implode within the next few weeks while Pav would be a bigger threat to them.  However, doing this would risk losing Danielle's vote should either of them be in danger of eviction.

--PoV Draw--
Danielle: Ashleigh (HouseGuest's Choice)
Helen: Matthew
Pav: Donny

Danielle chose Mark to host the competition.

Danielle, Ashleigh and Donny would obviously not use the veto, but both Helen and Pav hope that they could sway Matthew to take one of the off and have him and Toya flip to their side like they tried to last week.

--PoV Competition--
For this competition, the HouseGuests must stand on a rotating platform with water getting sprayed at them in random intervals.  The goal of the competition is to get off of the platform when they think the 1 hour mark has been reached.  The person who gets off the closest to the 1 hour mark without going over will win the Power of Veto.

Step off Order (from first out to last out):
1 Matthew
2 Danielle
3 Ashleigh
4 Helen
5 Donny
6 Pav

Matthew's time is...
...
...
...
...

29:24

Danielle's time is...
...
...
...
...
...
35:33

Ashleigh's time is...
...
...
...
...
...
...
63:48, which is over the 1 hour mark.

Congratulations Danielle!  You have won the Diamond Power of Veto!

Helen got off seconds after Ashleigh.  Both Donny and Pav got off around 5 minutes later.

While it is a no-brainer that Danielle will keep her nominations the same, Brittany and Amber are still considering keeping Helen over Pav, with Jocasta and Donny agreeing to an extent with their plan.  However, Cody, Nicole and Zach are willing to cut Helen off this week due to her threats to leave voluntarily combined with Pav being more likely to win HoH next week.

Shortly before the veto ceremony is supposed to happen, Helen was told by Zach that she might not get any votes to stay, which once again set her off, where she announced that she regrets ever trusting him or his alliance.  This outburst has once again fueled her motive to possibly self-evict.  Despite a lengthy consultation in the Diary Room, Helen decided to stay after calming down.

Unsurprisingly, Danielle decided not to use the Power of Veto, meaning that Helen may face eviction for the second week in a row.  Brittany is still considering keeping Helen as a target, but is concerned if she and Amber could pull it off; they would have to evict Helen if they don't have the 6 votes needed to keep her in.

--Cry For Help--
Both Pav and Helen were called to the Diary Room at random points after the veto ceremony, where they were given the option of sending the Cry For Help.

After hearing of Helen's most recent outburst, Pav decided not to press the button, believing that Helen would be evicted unanimously.
While Helen initially wanted to send the cry for help, she felt it would be no use as she was nominated in Amber's place after being saved by the Cry for Help last week.

With Brittany and Amber planning on possibly keeping Helen, will Pav's decision to not use the Cry for Help get him blindsided, or did Helen do enough damage this week to send her to the Halfway House?  Who will win the first halfway Faceoff: Chris or Frankie?  Who will win the next Head of Household?  Find out next time.

With Amber nominated next to Frankie, both Zach and Frankie are confident that they would have the votes to get Amber out.  Cody and Zach are sure votes to keep Frankie, and they have assumed that Pav, Helen and Nicole are voting with them too.  While Pav and Helen have confirmed that they will be voting out Amber, Nicole has yet to be clued in despite her distrust against Amber.  Coincidentally, Brittany and Amber are also confident that they have the votes, but to evict Frankie.  Ashleigh and Danielle told Amber before the veto ceremony that they would keep her this week.  Jocasta and Donny are very likely to be swayed to evict Frankie.  As for Mark, Ashleigh has assumed that he would be voting with them.

The fate of the two nominees now rest in the hands of Toya and Matthew, both of whom did not confirm their loyalty to either side.  While they have shown their dislike towards Helen due to her condescending attitude, they fail to see anything benefit from keeping Amber in the house.

--Eviction--
Before the vote began, the HouseGuests have been informed of the Cry For Help twist, where the public was given the option of saving either Amber or Frankie (or neither).  Most of the HouseGuests have expected Frankie to be saved from eviction, but this was not to be as the public has decided to take Amber off the block.  This has negated the plan set by Frankie and Zach to get the 7 votes needed.  In Amber's place, Helen was nominated next to Frankie, which really set her off.

Brittany, the current HoH, will only vote in the event of a tie.  Helen and Frankie, the two nominees, are not allowed to vote.

Zach is voting first.

Zach started the plot to get Amber out, but with the plan failing, will he still be able to keep Frankie?
Zach votes to evict Helen.

Amber has been given the opportunity to get Frankie out of the house.  Will she take it?
Amber votes to evict Frankie.

Brittany spared Ashleigh this week.  Will Ashleigh return the favor by evicting Brittany's target?
Ashleigh votes to evict Frankie.

With two HouseGuests loyal to Cody on the block, where will his vote fall tonight?
Cody votes to evict Helen.

-2 votes to evict Frankie and 2 votes to evict Helen-

When Amber was still on the block, Pav agreed to save Frankie this week, but with Helen now on the block, will he still pull through?
Pav votes to evict Helen.

Danielle wants Helen out, but her alliance wants Frankie out.  Will she follow her emotions, or her loyalty?
Danielle votes to evict Frankie.

Jocasta has not sided with Frankie or Helen.  What will she do tonight?
Jocasta votes to evict Frankie.

Ashleigh & Danielle were under the impression that Mark would be voting with them, but will he really?
Mark votes to evict Frankie.

All week, Nicole seemed to be on Frankie's side, but Zach has questioned her loyalty.  Will this change her mind?
Nicole votes to evict Frankie.

Toya has been swayed by Zach to keep Frankie in the house, but with Amber off the block, will she still keep her word?
Toya votes to evict Frankie.

It is official.  With 7 votes to evict Frankie, Frankie will leave the house tonight, but let's see where the other votes fall.
Donny votes to evict Frankie.

Matthew appeared to be siding with Frankie, but given how Toya voted, that may not be the case.
Matthew votes to evict Frankie.

By a vote of 9-3, Frankie, you are evicted from the Big Brother house.

Frankie will be facing off against Chris in the first Halfway Faceoff, which will take place before the next eviction.

--HoH Competition--
Brittany, as the outgoing HoH, you are not eligible to compete this week.

This competition is called "If You're Not In, You're Out".  I will ask a question (with the answer being A or B) and you will answer with what you think the majority would say.  Answer with the majority and you stay.  Answer in the minority and you're out.  If there is a tie, no one is eliminated.  If 8 questions are reached or if we have a final 3, we will advance to the tie breaker round.

Q1:
Majority Answer: B
Helen, Nicole, Zach, Mark and Amber are eliminated.

Q2:
Majority Answer: Tie
No one is eliminated.

Q3:
Majority Answer: Another tie
Once again, no one is eliminated.

Q4:
Majority Answer: A
Everyone answered A, so everyone moves on.

Q5:
Majority Answer: B
Cody and Toya are eliminated.

Q6:
Majority Answer: B
Donny and Ashleigh are eliminated.

Q7:
Majority Answer: A
Pav is eliminated.

Matthew, Jocasta and Danielle are still in the running as we proceed to the tiebreaker round, where the answer will be a number.  The person who comes closest to the correct number without going over will be the new HoH.

Jocasta: 1713
Matthew: 1115
Danielle: 1006

The correct answer is 1097.

Congratulations Danielle!  You are the new Head of Household!

Following Brittany's HoH win, everyone from the UK except Pav and Helen became very worried about being picked off one by one; Pav already made a deal with Cody & Amber, which he hoped would get him further in the game, while Cody told Helen before the eviction that she would not be his target.  Likewise, Frankie and Zach are hoping that Brittany would put what happened on #bb16 to the side and not target them over the UK side.  As they attempt to convince her to target Ashleigh or Danielle, she appeared to be sold on the plan, but she actually had no intention to target anyone from the UK or trust Zach and Frankie.

As Ashleigh entered the HoH room to plead her case, Brittany told her about her actual plans as she wanted to make sure that she would have the numbers to split Frankie and Zach.  This was then repeated to Danielle, Toya, Mark and Matthew, who Ashleigh trusted the most.  Some appreciated the news, but others were not sure about whether Brittany would be telling the truth.

Ashleigh.

Brittany has nominated Frankie and Zach for eviction.

This was the sign that, once again, Brittany would not be siding with Frankie and Zach.  Amber wouldn't side with them either after their dissociation from her.

With the Diamond PoV in mind, Brittany knows it is critical to keep nominations the same since one nominee winning the veto could send the wrong person home.  Ashleigh, Danielle and Mark agreed to help prevent Frankie and Zach from winning the veto, while Pav assured Cody that he would save either of the nominees if he were to win.  Helen was also informed of the plan to keep nominations the same, but she felt that she could not trust Brittany since she may be working with her rival [Danielle].  She then warned Zach that Brittany got everyone else from the UK side working with her.  She also openly told him that she would take him off the block if she won the veto.

--PoV Draw--
Brittany: Mark
Frankie: Jocasta
Zach: Pav

Brittany chose Amber to host the competition.

--PoV Competition--
For this competition, the HouseGuests must transfer 6 colored eggs through a chicken wire fence to its intended station (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple).  The color of the egg must match the color of the station it's located in.  Thie first HouseGuest to place all six eggs wins the Diamond Power of Veto.

2 minutes
Brittany starts in an early lead with 1 egg, followed closely by Mark, who places his first egg.

5 minutes
Brittany, Mark and Pav each have 1 egg.  The others are at 0.

11 minutes
Brittany is now leading with 2 eggs.  Mark, Pav and Jocasta each have 1.  Frankie and Zach have none.

15 minutes
Brittany, Pav and Mark are now tied at 2 each.  Frankie finally gets an egg in, leaving Zach in last place.

20 minutes
Brittany is halfway there with 3 eggs.  Pav and Mark are still trying to catch up.

35 minutes
Everyone is struggling with their eggs, but Zach is starting to catch up with 2 eggs already in.

45 minutes
At this point, everyone is now at 2 eggs except Brittany, who is still in the lead with 3, but just got her 4th egg in.

47 minutes
Frankie is starting to catch up to Brittany's lead as he gets his 3rd egg in.

1 hr
Everyone except Pav has at least 3 eggs in their stations, with Brittany still at 4, working on her 5th.  Make that 5, working on her last.

1 hr 10 min
Zach is now working on his 5th egg (4 are already in).

1 hr 17 min
Zach has now caught up to Brittany as both are working on the final egg.  In other news, Pav finally gets his 3rd egg in while Mark gets his 4th egg in.

1 hr 21 min
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
Zach gets his final egg in.  Zach has won the Diamond Power of Veto!

After winning the veto, it was obvious that Zach would take himself off the block and also choose the replacement nominee.  Cody was clearly out of the question as he would help him secure the votes to keep Frankie.  Both are also sure that Nicole, Pav and Helen would also be on board with evicting Zach's replacement.

Ashleigh and Danielle became very worried that either of them would be the replacement nominee, while Amber later told them that she might go up.  They then told her that she would have the votes against Frankie.  Coincidentally, Amber has been suggested as a replacement nominee.  Ashleigh and Donny were also suggested, both for being potential threats to win.  However, the plan against Ashleigh was later shot down in order to ensure that the UK HouseGuests don't team up to save her.

At the veto ceremony, Zach used the veto to remove himself from the block.  He then decided to nominate Amber as a replacement as revenge for Brittany trying to get him and Frankie out.

Who will be evicted from the Big Brother house: Amber, Frankie or someone else?  Who will be crowned the next HoH?  Find out next time.

--Cry For Help--

Shortly after the veto ceremony, both Amber and Frankie were separately called to the Diary Room, and became the first two HouseGuests informed of the Cry For Help and every single detail behind it (even the part where they are forbidden from discussing the power to other HouseGuests, including the other nominee).

Frankie did not want to take the chance of getting Toya and Matthew to flip, so he decided to send the cry for help.
Amber didn't want to take the chance either in case the UK side might plan on blindsiding her.

With both Amber and Frankie pressing the button, the Cry for Help has been sent.

Here's how the vote will work (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
You are given two options in the vote.  You can either
A - accept the Cry For Help
B - decline the Cry For Help

If A is selected, you must vote for the nominee that you wish to save.  You must also vote for who will be his/her replacement nominee.  If B is selected, this does not apply.

Remember that you cannot vote for Brittany or Zach as the replacement nominee via Cry for Help.  Everyone else is fair game.  Again, make sure you read carefully before you cast your vote.

Big Brother: US vs UK Premiere + Snap Eviction Jul 30, 2014
imageNote: During the vote for the first HoH, there is an 8-way tie between Amber, Ashleigh, Brittany, Cody, Frankie, Jocasta, Toya and Zach.  Random.org will decide the three that will be eligible to win HoH.  The winner will be whoever's name is chosen first by Random.org

The twist has already been revealed here: http://www.tengaged.com/blog/boomboom/5653906/big-brother-us-vs-uk-twist-announcement

Shortly after all HouseGuests entered, they were told that the HouseGuest who wins HoH would result in immunity to all members of his/her team (US or UK).  This quickly caused a divide going in to the first HoH competition.

--HoH Competition--
This competition is called "The Invasion".  Under each of the 16 UFOs is a handlebar and a very small foothold attached to a rope.  The goal of this competition is to hang on for dear life.  The last person standing will win the competition and immunity for everyone in his/her team.

12 minutes
Chris falls off after his hand slipped from the bar.
Danielle is also having trouble hanging on.

14 minutes
After tiring out, Danielle decides to drop.  Danielle is out.
Jocasta and Matthew are now starting to slip.

24 minutes
Jocasta, Matthew and Pav are on the verge of falling.
Everyone else is doing well so far, but here comes the meteor shower.

32 minutes
Jocasta has had enough and falls off.  Jocasta is the first person from the US eliminated from the competition.

38 minutes
Matthew falls off.  Matthew is out.
Pav is still hanging on, but still struggling.  Mark is about to fall as well.
Amber, Cody and Ashleigh did not budge once for the entire competition.

46 minutes
Nicole is now starting to slip from the foothold.

Just as the 1 hour mark is reached, Mark lets go of the bar and is out of the competition.  Nicole falls off seconds later.

1 hr 12 min: Pav, Toya and Ashleigh are now at the point where they can barely hang on any longer.

1 hr 20 min: Despite not budging, Zach decides to throw the competition and falls off.  9 remain.

1 hr 23 min: Toya is eliminated after grabbing on to the rope that the foothold is attached to (while the rules stated that the HouseGuests must hang on to the BAR).

1 hr 30 min: Pav, Ashleigh and Donny are about to slip.

1 hr 32 min: Donny falls off.  Donny is now out of the competition.

7 remain: 4 from the US and 3 from the UK.

1 hr 40 min: Frankie slips off without warning.  Frankie is now out, and we have an even number of US and UK HouseGuests still in the running.

1 hr 50 min: Brittany and Helen are now having trouble, but Ashleigh is the one that falls off.

1 hr 52 min: Brittany loses her balance on the foothold and falls off.  4 remain.
Seconds after Brittany falls off, Helen slips off as well.

3 HouseGuests are left.  Pav is the last person from the UK in the competition.  Amber is the last woman in the competition.

After struggling for nearly the entire competition, Pav tries to make a deal with both Amber and Cody, which they accept shortly before he falls off.

With Pav's elimination, the US side officially wins immunity from eviction, but now the competition has come down between Cody and Amber.

2 hr 11 min: Amber decides to step off.  Cody has won the competition.

Cody is told that he is the first HoH of the season, and that everyone from the US side is safe from eviction.  However, Cody's HoH is not official (as I said earlier).  The HouseGuests have not been informed of the snap eviction until now, which gives Cody very little time to get to know everyone from the UK side as one of them will be the first person evicted.

After the HouseGuests were informed of the snap eviction, Cody has a few minutes to make his decision.  Pav is immediately out of the question as Cody plans on keeping his word with him.  If he plans on evicting a threat right away, the decision would be between Helen and Ashleigh.  If he doesn't want any blood on his hands, he would consider Chris and Danielle, who were the first two to fall off.

As for the others, everyone from the UK started pitching to Cody as to why he should not evict them.  During the interrogations, Helen and Danielle threw each other under the bus due to their rivalry.  The majority of the UK side suggested evicting Helen, but after Frankie was informed of this, he shot down any chance of evicting Helen as the US side could use her later on.  Ashleigh's name was then brought up due to the concerns about her having the most connections in the UK side.

Just as the eviction is going to take place, Cody decided that the vote would come down between Chris and Danielle, figuring that the US side would target Ashleigh next.

--Snap Eviction--
Someone from the UK side will be the first person evicted.

Chris.

It is official Chris.  You are the first person evicted from the Big Brother house.

The HouseGuests are lead to believe that Chris is out for good, but he is the first to be informed of the Halfway House twist.  Chris will have a chance to return to the house, but now he must wait for his first opponent and the first "Halfway Faceoff".

After Chris was evicted, the HouseGuests were told that Cody is not the official HoH, and that the real HoH was determined by the viewers.  They were also told that the "divide" would only last for the first night, meaning that the HoH may nominate someone from his/her own side.
