So, this may come as a surprise that either of the twins are higher on the list than some of the main protagonists. That should speak volumes as to how little character the previous two entries really had. Beth is at this point in the list, simply because she quickly put together the clues that it was a prank that sent Hannah running out the door, and that she knew she needed to go get her, because they weren’t alone on the mountain. Beth was an honest to God HERO. Giving Hannah her coat, even though Hannah was wearing even warmer clothes than she was, and immediately grabbing her to pick her up when she fell on that little bridge.
Unfortunately for her, it meant that she got pulled to her death by her sister, or she falls to her death, only to be cannibalized by her twin sister. Unfortunately this HAD to happen in order for any of the story to have taken place, Beth is the ONLY playable character in the game that isn’t one of the 8 lodge survivors, and she’s the only playable character in the game that does not have any alternate endings where she can live.
