Big Brother S18 Power Rankings (Top 6) Sep 6, 2016
imageBig Meech is outta here, Paul and Victor are trying to be the greatest bromance since Zankie, and a showmance will be split up for sure this week.

6. James Huling- Poor James. He is such a good guy, which is also his biggest downfall. He won't campaign against Natalie, in fact, he'll even try to campaign for her to stay! He's a classy guy, and won't go down with much of a fight, but with a lot of hope.

5. Natalie Negrotti- James is the big target, but in case the tides turn or someone pulls James off from veto, Natalie could be going home. She was also HOH when Victor went home the second time. Vic got out Paulie, so he may do the same for her...revenge.

4. Nicole Franzel- Nicole is the queen of this house...but she's whiny and just seems wishy washy still to me.

3. Corey Brooks- Corey and Nicole are kind of on the same boat, but I feel like Corey is tighter with Paul and Victor and would remain safe if James or Natalie came off the block. He's finally playing the game after some time, but I'm just not a big fan.

2. Paul Abrahamian- Whether it be the Jozea alliance, PP, or this duo of him and Victor, Paul is the ultimate right hand man. But when he needs to strike, he strikes. He's been sitting pretty for rarely any of this game, and has had to fight his way into the top spot. And now that he's there, he can just enjoy his Vic's HOH.

1. Victor Arroyo- Vic went from evicted twice, to back in twice, to HOH the week later. Vic is an all-star, and could win this thing. He's getting more and more likable, and I'm thinking that once James and Natalie are separated by the vote, I'm on team Paul and Victor.

Well we have three pairs. One definitely safe. One definitely split up. And then Nicorey, who is probably the most annoying showmance in the history of...oh wait, Amanda and McCrae. Anyways, this should be a predictable week. James has lost his challenge fire ever since throwing the HOH to Nicole. So he probably won't win veto, and will unfortunately be sent back home.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- James Huling

MasterChef S7 Power Rankings (Top 5) Sep 3, 2016
imageSo, we had another double elimination, losing Nathan and Katie. Now, the dead weight is gone, and we have a clear two favorites (as we had last week as well). Here's some awesome rankingness.

5. David Williams- David is a little whiny brat. It's true. We get that he is passionate, but when you're throwing things on the ground, it makes me question if you're deserving of final 5. I'd like to see someone like Terry or Andrea, who really wanted to be there, rather than this guy. I hope he quits like the preview eludes...but at the same time, I'll lose some respect (if there's any left for him), for giving up a spot that so many people have been robbed of. End rant.

4. Dan Paustian- Dan hit his first low this time around, and could have easily been sent home instead of Katie this week. Dan as a finalist sounded good for a while, but he's still a little too goofy for the finalist position. He's a solid 4th place, maybe 3rd. But he won't make final 2, by the looks of it.

3. Tannoria Askew- Tannoria has been mediocre at best recently. She started off so strong, and all I hope is that she regains that strength. Right now, she's heads over Dan and David, but not close to Brandi and Shaun right now. She's right in the middle, and needs a little push to get into the finals.

2. Brandi Mudd- Brandi is right up there for the top spot. Her food is amazing, and she is as humble as pie. The only thing suggesting her not winning is Shaun's stronger edit.

1. Shaun O'Neale- Shaun has the clear winning edit. It may already be sealed up. He has been on the bottom, but he comes back even stronger after getting hit down. He's the guy you wanna root for. I think he's our winner.

Shaun and Brandi. Tannoria is a possible upset. Dan may go home, but David has to go home. Simple enough.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- David Williams

America's Got Talent S11 Power Rankings (Semifinals, Week 1) Aug 31, 2016
imageThis was a bummer night I think. I really was only blown away by one act, thought three were very good, and two really awesome magicians who made some minor flaws. Anyways, here are the rankings!

11. Lori Mae Hernandez- The last joke was funny. But the rest was just snoozefest. I wish I could get it, but I just don’t get it. I get the jokes she is trying to make, but they’re not making me laugh. Sorry, Lori.

10. Musicality- This was eh. Mel hit it on the nose. It was stronger when they came together, but it was a little too much Glee-club for me. Some of the soloists were just unbearable, and the only thing keeping them from the bottom is their important story, and story won’t do it all.

9. Deadly Games- This was cool, again, but I’m a little bit bored at this point. I think their act is incredibly dangerous and risky, but every time they elevate it, they do it more by production value than actual risk. The kiss at the end was also a little too intense, and this will probably be the end of the road for them.

8. Tape Face- Ugh, I hate that I didn’t like this, but I just didn’t like this. It took so long to get there, and was just overall disappointing. Sure, his show in Vegas would probably be a great variety act, like Blue Man Group, but in the COMPETITION, he’s gotta step it up each time, and unfortunately, I think he failed to do that. If he makes it through, he’s gonna need to up his Audition.

7. Sal Valentinetti- Sal is entertaining, and sounds just like Sinatra. But that’s also the problem with his act. He sounds like a carbon copy of Sinatra, and he’s not as good as the man himself. Truth is, we’ve already had a Sinatra and nothing can beat the original. It’s like a remake of a good classic movie. It’s always fun to watch, but nothing new is brought to the table, and it just doesn’t beat the original. All that being said, the song sounded great, and it was definitely his best yet, and he’s always a lovely character to watch.

6. Blake Vogt- Okay, so if you watch it a second time, it is very easy to tell what he did and how he did it…but, it was still a great illusion and he elevated it by using humor and wit, which is why his act is really good. It could have been a little more impressive, because it is easy to figure out, but it was a well executed illusion at least. Good job Blake!

5. Jon Dorenbos- This guy is so full of energy and excitement, and his trick is pretty amazing. How he pulled off the tiny map, I’m not sure. But, the exact change was kind of messed up and the quarters didn’t include Oklahoma. Just tiny things I realized, and very minimal flaws. I’d put this one above Blake just because it is more unique and I haven’t seen it before, but it doesn’t get into my top 4 because of the few flaws it had.

4. Edgar- These guys were never my favorite…but now I love them. They really just keep delivering heart and soul. Their vocals aren’t always the best, but when they all synchronize, the sound rings, and it is completely stunning. I really thought they did a good job. The family aspect is inspiring, and I really hope they get some love from America.

3. Malevo- They’re definitely the best dance group that AGT has had in a while. They are powerful, and step it up every single time. They killed it, and they have a great shot of being a headline in Vegas. Lots of fun, and I enjoyed it.

2. Grace VanderWaal- She is the star of the year, and it’s no surprise that the two young girl singers are the top of the night. This was probably not the best song of the three she’s done, but still done extremely well. Her voice is just so unique. Is it big enough for a Vegas show? I’m not sure, but it’s definitely good enough to make it to the finals and probably win.

1. Laura Bretan- Her voice alone is enough to get her to the top of any ranking…but the emotional story and connection that linked this performance to her personal life and her grandfather is what was incredibly stunning to watch. Wow. Just wow. She is just incredible, and the story makes it just that much more impactful.

So I was a huge fan of Laura's, thought Grace, Edgar, and Malevo also did an awesome job! Jon and Blake did very well; Jon did something new with some flaws, whereas Blake did a perfectly executed trick that's been done a million times. So which one was better? Slight edge to Jon here, and judge's reactions help too. But I spotted the flaws with the coins, and couldn't fully get behind it. America will probably chose one over the other, eliminating the other. Then there's Tape Face, who is a crowd pleaser, and Sal (though performing early) still has fans. I think that Grace and Laura are locks, along with the magician chosen (probably Jon). I think Deadly Games, Musicality, and Lori are pretty much done. This leaves Edgar and Malevo in the judges save with either Sal or Tape Face. Sal went too early in the night, and I think people are still on Tape Face's boat. I think Malevo will win the Dunkin', and as much as I love Edgar, I think the judges won't let Tape Face go.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Through- Laura Bretan, Grace VanderWaal, Jon Derenbos, Malevo, and Tape Face

Eliminated- Edgar, Sal Valentinetti, Blake Vogt, Deadly Games, Musicality, and Lori Mae Hernandez

Also, I predict that the wild-card act will be THE PASSING ZONE! I think they performed on a tough night, and I think the judges will see it as the most "Vegas-esque" act there. Also, who doesn't wanna see Simon involved with the act next time?

Big Brother S18 Power Rankings (Top 7- Part 2) Aug 29, 2016
imageVICTOR IS BACK AGAIN. I called it, but how funny is that? Really...

7. Michelle Meyer- Nicole winning HOH was the worst case scenario for James, Natalie, and Michelle. James sealing the deal with Nicole solidifies it: Big Meech is in danger this week. SOS.

6. Paul Abrahamian- Paul is always stirring up drama, and if for some reason James and Natalie are able to flip it on him, Paul could be going. But I really don't know if this is possible. But just in case, Paul is in this spot. He's on the block.

5. Natalie Negrotti- Nicole promised James and Natalie her word. But people go back on words, and I feel like she may backstab Nicole before she does James. She didn't make the deal with Natalie. Just James. But it should still stand.

4. Victor Arroyo- Coming back a second time is crazy. He won't go home this week. He actually has a good shot to wiggle in there, and possibly make it to the end.

3. James Huling- James has the deal with Nicole. He shouldn't be going on the block. Will he? Probably not. Could Natalie? Maybe. But I think they'll be safe.

2. Corey Brooks- He's Nicole's number two, which means he's this number two.

1. Nicole Franzel- She's HOH, and she had an incredible strategy this week, trying to appease Natalie, James, Paul, and Victor. It was an incredibly smart move nominating Paul, and while Michelle is the safe boot, it's one less person targeting her. Nicole is making me proud this week. I just wish she had done it sooner.

Nicole and Corey are the only sure bets this week. I'm sure James is too, and probably Vic too. Victor coming back twice is fantastic, and I probably won't ever get over it. Either way, Michelle needs the veto, otherwise, she's screwed unfortunately...

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Michelle Meyer

MasterChef S7 Power Rankings (Top 7) Aug 29, 2016
imageSo after I say it's between Terry and Tannoria, Terry and Tannoria are in the bottom 2. Terry goes home. Travesty. As for Eric, eh, it was predictable, and he's lucky to have made it this far. But may I just say, after losing Andrea, Alejandro, and Terry, I am just even more irritated to see people like Nathan and Katie skate by. Nathan has just had way too many second chances, and while Katie used to be strong, she has showed her weaknesses. Here are some rankings.

7. Nathan Barnhouse- Where do we finally draw the line? Let's hope it's this. Because he doesn't even deserve top 10, let alone 6.

6. Katie Dixon- I think Katie rightfully made it to top 10, but top 6 is a bit of a stretch. She has just made too many silly mistakes, and that's why she's consistently a weaker chef. She has hit strides at points though, so she may be able to dig herself out of this one.

5. Tannoria Askew- Tannoria used to be so strong, but recently, she's been taking steps back. And not just small steps back, but major ones. She went from unstoppable to the bottom half consistently. She could be an early favorite who takes a dip to fifth place, but she may be able to pull it out in the end. She is the wildcard of the bunch right now.

4. Dan Paustian- Dan has been rocking it, but took a step back recently with this past challenge. However, he has not hit any huge hurdles, so he should be fine for some time.

3. David Williams- So like, David is not likable at the moment (nor will he probably be anytime soon), but he was on top twice for these challenges, and seems to have good momentum. So, he may be the dark horse that we didn't see coming.

2. Brandi Mudd- Brandi is slowly getting more and more strong and winning more and more. She just needs the front runner to slow down, otherwise she'll sneak up and snag the top spot.

1. Shaun O'Neale- Shaun is the front runner, it's plain to see. He was the most intimidating to everyone else, and he hasn't hit a low in a very, very long time. He's the one to beat, easily. But so was Terry...and so was Tannoria...

Tannoria is probably the most disappointing right now, but if she can get it together, she can be a front runner again. But Shaun and Brandi are really our finalists if we're looking at it at the moment, and Shaun especially has just been super strong. Nathan is dead weight and needs to go...

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Nathan Barnhouse

America's Got Talent S11 Power Rankings (Quarterfinals, Week 3) Aug 24, 2016
imageSo, it's the final night of the Quarterfinals, and this was obviously the strongest night of talent thus far, with only one or two acts of the night truly undeserving of moving forward. So, how do they rank? Who belong in the good pile? Who belong in the great? And who belong in the Grace pile?

12. Vello Vaher- He was doing what he always does, but with some flashier lights and a pirate ship. The most exciting thing about his act was the loud sound of the red buzzer. And that's all we'll remember him by.

11. Linkin' Bridge- I wanted so badly to route for them, but I cringed all throughout. Simon hit the nail on the head, the first 3/4 were awful. But the part he got wrong was that the fourth quarter wasn't good either. The soloist was just screaming and shouting, and the message was almost too force-fed that I stopped caring. These guys are nice guys, but this performance was pitchy, unsynchronized, and pretty bad.

10. Alla and Daniel- The kid is adorable, the mom thing is sweet, but Howie was right that they didn't elevate the act. But in all, it is an immense talent, especially at the boy's age. They'll be going home, but I don't think they deserved a buzzer. I liked it.

9. Ronee Martin- Poor Ronee. Just like Moya Angela, she went too early in the night that she became forgettable by the end of the night. Her voice is great. The arrangement was boring, but she does display talent. Unfortunately, I don't think she's moving forward.

8. Julia Scotti- I really didn't love this. It was good, but nothing like we've seen her before. She toned the dial back a bit tonight, and only delivered some chuckles, no belly laughs. She'll still make it forward based on popularity, and because she is very good, but she needs to step it up, at least in my book.

7. Blake Vogt- Blake did a great job with his act, showcasing magic in yet another new way. Was it the best act of the night? No, but it totally kept my attention, and I really don't know how he did it.

6. Malevo- I enjoy the dancing, but the whips are unimpressive to me, and while it is passionate, it may be a tad too intense. But nonetheless, it is still an awesome thing to watch, and one of the most unique things we have to watch. Also, it is a small dance showing this year, so it would be nice to put through some good dance groups. This is the best AGT has to offer, and they're pretty darn good.

5. Kadan Bart Rockett- For a young kid, I was incredibly blown away by his act. While we've seen something like it before, it is amazingly impressive, and a new twist on it. They're the cutest kids, and they really deserve to move on. They went early on in the night, so I hope they can withhold their place, but if not, I'll be fighting for them in the Dunkin' Save.

4. Edgar- Wow. These voices blend so well, and on their own, they still sound beautiful. I was never a fan until tonight, and I am mesmerized.

3. The Passing Zone- It's silly, it's funny, but let's admit, they have the perfect steps to a successful Vegas show. They have shown every single angle and inch of what they can do. Just like Paul Zerdin last year, every week is a new twist and spin on what they do, and while some performances are stronger than others, their act is still original and Vegas-ready. They're awesome.

2. Brian Justin Crum- One word. Flawless. I really don't have any negative words to say. He'll make it through or I'll riot.

1. Grace VanderWaal- Perhaps the safest bet of moving forward, even before the show started. She is a clear favorite, but for good reason. She is on her own cloud, and that is because of her age and originality. People sing better than her, but can they write their own songs or be as humble as she is? Also, are they as young as her? This girl is a sensation, and I think Howie's speech tells it all. Watch out Taylor, Grace is coming your way.

Grace is in a totally different boat from everyone else, and Brian is close behind. The rest of the acts (besides the two acts who got buzzers, and probably Ronee), are all competing for the remaining 5 spots. Julia is popular enough, the Passing Zone and Malevo are crowd pleasers. This leaves the two magicians, Linkin' Bridge, and Edgar competing for the last two spots. I think Linkin' Bridge is so popular that they could find themselves in a Dunkin' Save with Edgar and one of the magicians. I'm gonna say Vogt has the edge with America, whereas I think Kadan should. But Kadan is young and probably just won't get votes. When it comes down to those three acts, I think the soul group says goodbye.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Through- Grace VanderWaal, Brian Justin Crum, Julia Scotti, The Passing Zone, Malevo, Edgar, and Blake Vogt

Eliminated- Linkin' Bridge, Kadan Bart Rockett :( , Ronee Martin, Vello Vaher, and Alla and Daniel
