imageI cannot begin to describe how exhilarating it was to log into Tengaged and find that it is more vibrant and alive than ever before!  As an early member of the community, I remember the buzz around all the new features coming to Tengaged and now they are a reality!  The combination of Randomize’s genius and the passion of Tengaged-ers truly makes this site a special little niche in cyberspace. 
For many of us (and this was true of myself at one point) Tengaged becomes a second home.   We find those we can relate to, we find unique friendships that go beyond the games, and we are able to express ourselves.  Consistantly and continually I am impressed with the creativity of the members here and the spirit of competition/games that brings us together.  And like a family, you don’t always get along with everyone,  but I hope you recognize the value of each person as part of your Tengaged experience.  Oh the drama when your best friend from your last game stabs you in the back this game or when your arch nemesis becomes your greatest ally or your ex’s new love is in the same game as you (awkward)!   Everyone plays a role (or roles if you have multiple accounts..HAHA!)  in the intricate and exciting soci-gaming web of Tengaged, so enjoy it for what it is.
And let me expand on that point for a brief moment.  I think it is easy to get wrapped up in all of this, because it can be so exciting and you can put so much of your time, heart, and energy into this community.   It is fun to do that, because this truly is a social gaming community, so you get out what you put in.  But, do keep in mind, it is game.  We are fast approaching the holidays where we will have more free time away from work and school, so be honest with yourself on how you need to spend your time.  If you can, why not join an extra game or group here on Tengaged?  However, make sure not to neglect your friends and family off of Tengaged.  Like I said before, you get out what you put in, so invest some of your time with your family outside of Tengaged, too.
My best wishes to you all!  I hope you have a fantastic holiday and some great games!  And I offer you this thought:  Be Oftenaged.
Tengaged started because it was a site where ten people became engaged in a week long game together.  Be an active member OF Tengaged, , and also take an active role in your life OFF Tengaged.  Be often engaged in your games and in your life.

Registration has just opened for STARS 10 Dream Team: Perfect 10!  If you are not a member of the STARS 10 cast, you are eligible to participate!  Registration is on a first come basis.  I can only have 20, 30, or 40 contestants, but will start a waiting list beyond that, because people may drop out or end up in the STARS cast!

What Tengaged generation do you belong to?  'Generations' are determined by what month you joined Tengaged:
1st Generation:  May 2008 or before
2nd Generation:  June 2008
3rd Generation:  July 2008
4th Generation:  August 2008
5th Generation:  September 2008
6th Generation:  October 2008
7th Generation:  November 2008
8th Generation:  December 2008
9th Generation:  January 2009
And the 10th generation isn't far away!

It might be fun to chat with castmates and find out answers to some of these questions:
* Who else is in your generation branch of the Tengaged family tree?
* Are your friends mainly from the same generation as you?
* Has anyone in your game played in a game where someone from the 1st generation was present?
*Who is the 'oldest' and 'youngest' player in your game?
Hint:  You can determine your generation and when you first joined by looking at your history and finding the ending date of your first game!  Subtract 7 and that is the date you were born into the Tengaged world!
