And she's evil fam. She fooled the shit out of me. At the shelter she was acting sweet and loving. Now she's been in the corner of my room hissing at me for 3 days -_-. What do i do?
I know how that is. I have to take care of my brothers cat for 11 months while he is on a long trip to Europe. and his cat just always behaves so badly so its hard sometimes to deal with him.
cats probably not used to the new home yet and is probably scared + she probably misses all her friends back at the shelter and thinks you kidnapped her :( poor kitty
Give her time, don't bother her too much. Talk to her with calm voice and try to give her some treat on your hand (chicken maybe). If she doesn't come to you after some time then leave slowly that treat on the floor and back off. Or try with whip cream on your finger, cats I know all really love whip cream (give just a little because it is not very healthy for them)
It's normal. All 4 of the cats I have now are adopted / rescues and they all acted like that when I first got them. They just need time to adjust. You wouldn't be happy if you were picked up by strangers and brought into their home lmao
