If you have any interest in seeing this film and want to avoid spoilers stop reading now. To begin I鈥檒l start with the things I liked about the movie. The plot was decent for the most part and once the action started it kept you pretty much on your feet the entire time. I also like that the characters made some smart decisions and were realistic in their attempt to escape. There were also a few funny moments that were fit in very nicely without taking away from the overall slasher film vibes. I thought Parker and her friend in particular did a good job with the script. The lines at times were a bit forced but that鈥檚 an issue with the way the lines were written.
Now the one thing in the plot that didn鈥檛 make sense to me was the motive of the killers. I get that they were trying to avenge their son and blamed her, but it just seems like a stretch to me. I think the idea for the motive was headed in the right direction, but it wasn鈥檛 quite achieved in the story telling. Perhaps if they had a scene in the start of the movie to somehow tie that family鈥檚 story in just a bit it might have worked. Also for me personally the killers weren鈥檛 selling me the characters. The mom especially wasn鈥檛 believable in her performance and the character lacked depth. I didn鈥檛 mind the ending but I think the stakes could have been a little higher.
My overall opinion is that it鈥檚 worth the watch if you particularly like Slasher films. For those of you that have seen it, what did you think?

slashers are my absolutely fave genre, but it drives me crazy when directors/producers make the actors do stuff that is so unrealistic, however, this one was really good
cocovanderbilt I loved how when Parker got the first guy on the ground she kept smashing his head until she thought he was dead lol. Because I always want the characters to finish them off instead of running after one good hit 馃槀.
