Ranking AHS Seasons (I鈥檓 bored 馃槀)

11th - (NYC), Don鈥檛 get me wrong it was a touching story and the last few episodes had amazing themes and visuals, but it didn鈥檛 have the twists and turns we鈥檝e come to expect from AHS.

10th- (HOTEL), I loved Lady Gaga in this and the story line was decent but it鈥檚 not a memorable story.

9th- (ROANOKE), This was actually a good season, especially once you get past the first few episodes, but the set up of it being a tv show throws it off a little. Took some time before I was interested in following with that format.

8th- (MURDER HOUSE), I鈥檓 sure this will be a controversial ranking. I see so many people rank this towards the top but for me it just wasn鈥檛 the best. It has iconic characters and the acting is 10/10. But I think some of the other seasons just had more interesting plots.

7th- (DOUBLE FEATURE), Individually I loved both plots and wish they would have just chosen 1 and made a full season for it.

6th- (1984), I really thought I wasn鈥檛 gonna like this one but the story continues to get better and better as it goes. Keeps you on your toes the entire time and the acting was great.

5th- (FREAK SHOW), I see this one ranked low so often and I don鈥檛 understand why. The characters are interesting and unique. The acting is amazing, and the plot is gruesome and scary. Everything you need from a good season.

4th- (CULT), What I loved about Cult is that it really told an American Horror Story. It centered around themes that were genuinely scary because they weren鈥檛 far off from real life. This is another that is soo easy to binge watch because there鈥檚 so many twists and turns.

3rd- (COVEN), This is where it gets super hard. Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange ate and left no crumbs in this season. Their characters were so dimensional and the plot is perfect.

2nd- (APOCALYPSE), I personally love this season. It brings back all my favorite characters from Coven and we get to see Sarah Paulson as the supreme which is everything. The epic battle at the end is another huge reason this ranks so high.

1st- (ASYLUM), This is probably no surprise. Asylum is almost always ranked at the top and there鈥檚 a good reason for that. The plot is diverse and engaging, the acting is fully realized, and the themes are horrific. When I think of AHS the first thing that comes to mind is Asylum.
