On the morning of Day 4, two tribes wake with 7 members, and 1 tribe holds strong at 8. Both the Purple and Green tribes are feeling the pressure for the upcoming immunity challenge, while the the Blue tribe sits confident over breakfast. Having recently lost #DontVoteMePlease, the Purple tribe is nervous for another loss. It was such an easy vote when #DontVoteMePlease tripped and cost the tribe their win, but would the vote be so easy if they lost again? The Green tribe, however nervous they were for the competition, still felt confident after placing first in yesterday's immunity challenge. Before they knew it, tree-mail arrived and it was off to competition beach for the next challenge.
Immunity Challenge:
The first tribe to arrive was Green, followed shortly by Blue. As the Purple tribe walked in 1 by 1, nobody was surprised to see #DontVoteMePlease nowhere around. The challenge began, and the Green tribe took a very substantial, and early lead. Closely behind were both the Purple and Blue tribes. As the competition continued, it was clear that the Green tribe would be taking home the 1st place win once again. The battle for 2nd was under way! First the Purple tribe took the lead over the Blue. Then Blue over Purple. It was back and forth, back and forth. Blue pushed hard to keep their tribe strong at 8. Could they do it?
As they came closer to completing the challenge, the Purple tribe gave one last shove and as the two tribes came up to the finish line, in photo finish, the Purple tribe got all of their members across before the Blue tribe, sending them to their first tribal council.
The Green and Purple tribes celebrated, holding nothing back! In the first three challenges, each tribe has lost and the game, from a numbers perspective, has evened out.
Back at the Blue camp, nobody knew what to do. Just this morning they woke up, confident that they could pull off another win....and they almost did. However, the name of the game says it's time for tribal, and this tribe needed to talk some things out. As they filed down the beach towards Tribal Council, nobody knew who was going home, and who was safe.
Tribal Council:
The Blue tribe dipped their torches into the fire and took their seats. Nobody wanted to be here and it was clear that this tribe was not thinking as a group. Hours later, it was time to vote. 1 by 1 they cast their votes and took their seats. Nobody looked at each other and everyone was silent. Who would go home? It was time to read the votes. In a vote of 3-2-2-1, Raemchorus was sent home.
As the Green tribe wakes with the rising sun, the look around and realize that their game started off on the wrong foot. Not only are they down a member to 1 tribe, but to both tribes. If they can't get themselves together, they could be annihilated before a merge...whenever that might happen. Over at the Purple and Blue camps, everything was coming up daisy's and everyone seemed in high spirits. The only tribe that appeared to be focused on what could be coming next, was the Green tribe. How can they win the next challenge? Who would be next if they lost? Were the other tribes eating better or sleeping more? All these questions ran through their heads. It wasn't until tree-mail arrived that things got serious for the Purple and Blue tribes.
Immunity Challenge #2
The Purple tribe was the first to arrive at the challenge and waited patiently for Blue and Green. Blue arrived next and took their place on their tribe mat. As the Green tribe walked in, Purple and Blue got their first look at the new Green tribe...minus #iamtrey. Nobody seemed surprised. Mostly because nobody knew him as he only spent 2 days on the island.
As the challenge got under way it was clear that the Green tribe was NOT going to give up easily. At first the Purple tribe seemed to have the lead, then Blue. But Green was only steps behind. Suddenly, the Green tribe pulls ahead and Purple drags a few steps behind, butting Blue in 3rd place. As they struggled to pass Purple, Blue dug deep and pushed hard as all three tribes approached the finish line.
Maintaining their lead, the Green tribe crossed first and collapsed in happiness as they felt their first taste of victory. After a short celebration, they turned their attention to the two tribes still battling for 2nd place. They both raced towards the finish line and there were mere steps separating them. Blue was still a few seconds behind Purple when suddenly #DontVoteMePlease (Purple tribe) trips, giving the Blue tribe the opportunity to pass them and claim the coveted 2nd place finish and keeping their tribe strong at 8! Unfortunately for the Purple tribe, with the finish line in site, that meant tribal council tonight.
Back at Purple camp, tensions were high as everyone knew who was responsible for their loss. One simple mistake kept them all from safety and it appeared to be obvious who was getting the axe tonight. In a last ditch effort, #DontVoteMePlease gave a whole-hearted, sincere, and passionate speech to the tribe. He pleaded for them to give him a second chance. It was only moments before they left for tribe, but would it be enough?
Tribal Council #2:
The Purple tribe dipped their torches in the fire, and took their seats. After being drilled by Jeff for hours, it seemed like the tribe had made up their minds and it was time to vote. 1 by 1, they cast their votes and as they were read aloud, it didn't matter that #DontVoteMePlease had the passion to stay, he was voted out in a vote of 7-1.
Day 1:
24 contestants were dropped into the ocean, 2 miles off the coast of a remote island. As they jumped ship and swam ashore, nobody knew what was in store. Slowly, each castaway reached the shore, soaking wet and unsure of their fate.
Before they knew it, they were lead around the bend and discovered 24 circular logs laying in the sand. As they picked numbers from a bag to determine the order, 1 by 1 they stepped onto a log of their choice. On the count of three, they flipped their logs and were divided into 3 tribes of 8.
As the celebration and introductions came to a close the three tribes were given a map, some flint, rice, and sent on their way to their camps. Slowly but surely each tribe arrived to their campsite and immediately began work on their shelters. All too quickly, the sun set and each tribe laid down to rest in the beginnings of their new homes.
Day 2:
As the sun rose on Day 2, each tribe found their first piece of tree-mail and excitedly headed out to compete in their first immunity challenge. As the challenge began, the Green tribe showcased their amazing ability to work as a team and took an early lead. However, the Purple and Blue tribes were not far behind. When it came down to the final leg of the competition, a lapse in communication struck the Green tribe and both the Purple and Blue tribes were able to sneak by and claim immunity sending the Green tribe back to camp to prepare for the first tribal council.
Back at camp, the game was on as the 8 members of the Green tribe scrambled to figure out who would be the first one sent home. The decision was difficult because they worked together so well, but someone had to go. That is the name of the game. Feeling the pressure, and being a fan of the game, #EyooMarcus knew that somewhere on their camp was a hidden immunity idol. As everyone paired off to go discuss the vote, #EyooMarcus stayed behind and searched the camp high and low for the idol. As he almost turned away from the tribe flag to go search in the woods, he noticed, at the top of the flag pole, a circular pole topper that could potentially come off. He looked around, saw nobody, and quickly took the flag out of the sand, unscrewed the top, and discovered the first Hidden Immunity Idol! After stabbing the flag back into the sand, he raced into the woods to collect his reward and hide it in the pocket of his shorts. Would he tell anyone about his amazing discovery, or keep it to himself? A few hours later, the tribe went on their way to the first Tribal Council
Tribal Council:
After lighting their torches in the fire, each tribe member took their seat and looked around nervously. Hours later, after getting grilled by the host, it was time to vote. Just like in the competition, the tribe seemed unified about how to make the decision of who to send home. One by one, the tribe went into the voting booth and cast their vote and when the vote was read, it came down to a 7-1 vote. iamtrey was sent home. The majority of the tribe felt that it was trey's fault for the lapse in communication and he payed the ultimate price of being the first person voted out of Survivor: Rookies.
