Previously on Survivor Luck of the Draw….James decided that Slothy/Tester was who he wanted to sit with at the end of the game. Meanwhile...Sydney/Natalia became weary of how all over the place James was becoming. This led Sydney and Natalia to approach Julissa. They explained that James was dangerous for the games of the three of them...and Danny. In the end….Julissa/Danny/Sydney/Natalia put their differences aside, came together and took a swing at the newly formed trio of Slothy/Tester/James. In the end...Natalia got her revenge on James, and he was the 12th person eliminated from the game.
When the tribe returns from tribal….tempers are running HOT. Tester yells at Julissa “WTF was that”. He continues I USED MY IDOL ON YOU. Why would you screw me over like that. Julissa responds I’m sorry man...but James became WAY to integrated into our alliance over the course of ONE DAY. I was scared that I might lose you and Sloth. Tester I understand that...but why wouldn’t you at least come to me first about this. Julissa continued I really was afraid you might not be okay with James leaving. Tester continues I care about you on a personal level...but I really don’t know if I can trust you moving forward. Julissa says she understands...and that she will give him and Sloth the night to think about what they want game wise moving forward. As this was happening we got a confessional from both Tester and Julissa
Tester: “I am UPSET with Julissa. I have done nothing in this game to show her that I am untrustworthy. Despite my intentions of possibly taking James to the end...I had NOT made any move against Julissa up until that point. Therefore...I am truly upset that she betrayed our friendship. All I am going to say...she took out one of my friends. So I think it’s about time that we pull a fast one over her.”
Julissa: “I really don’t know what is going to happen moving forward. I really don’t know who I should work with. I think that Tester and Slothy might be done with me...HOWEVER luckily I made a move with Sydney/Natalia last episode…..so maybe I can make a play with them?
As this is happening...we get a Sydney and Natalia conversation happening. Sydney is explaining to Natalia. “I really think right now we just need to lay low and let the other four target each other. Natalia agreed...I think this makes the most sense too moving forward. The two break up…..however we are left with a Sydney confessional
Sydney: “I do have my idol...HOWEVER if I can somehow save it for the F5 vote...I am at a very good spot. So I am going to lay low..not play too hard...and hopefully play my cards right”.
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE:
*JULISSA WINS IMMUNITY*
Julissa confessional: “God did I need this win. I truly thought I would be the number one target moving forward...so I think being safe this vote will hopefully allow me to genuinely rebuild relationships while also knowing that I am safe next vote.”
When the tribe returns from the challenge…..Julissa and Danny are first discussing how they can best approach this vote. Julissa asks Danny what he thinks is best? Danny says I really think we NEED to get Slothy/Tester back on our side. I really don’t want to risk being in the F3 with Sydney. As this is happening...we get a Danny and Julissa confessional.
Danny confessional: “So I really think Julissa and myself NEED Sydney out rn. If she survives this vote...she would only need to win 2 IMMUNITIES to be at the F3. Natalia honestly isn’t that big of a threat. She really was Sydney’s plus 1 this whole game. Thus I need to talk with Tester/Slothy”.
Julissa confessional: Right now...I am going to let Danny take the reins. I truly think that if I push too hard..that it will alienate the situation. I need Slothy and Tester on my side. I think they are more pissed at me than Danny...so I just need to let him do my dirty work for me.
After this we see Danny approach Slothy and Tester. Danny asks them what they are thinking. Slothy responds honestly we aren’t sure. You and Julissa really shocked us last vote. We were very surprised. Danny responded I understand what you are saying...HOWEVER...I really think you need to look at the bigger picture. Sydney/Natalia ARE a duo..and they WILL fuck us ALL over to get to the end. Thus we can’t let them escape another vote flipping back and forwarth. Tester responds to this we hear you and we want to think about what you just suggested. Danny says of course! The three shake each others hand, and then break up. We are left with a Danny and Slothy confessional.
Danny confessional: “I really hope my talk with them worked. Sydney and Natalia have served their purpose...and it is time for them to go.”
Slothy confessional: “I really like Danny...HOWEVER him and Julissa are the biggest hypocrites. They have been the biggest flip floppers this game. Why are they saying Syd/Nat are the flippers. They have just been trying to protect themselves. I really think me and Tester need to talk about what we want to happen this vote.
*Slothy and Tester conversation*
Slothy says to Tester idk man...I am honestly worried about Julissa/Danny being a duo also. Tester agree to this, and says that they should talk with Sydney and Natalia...and see where there heads are at.
Slothy first approaches only Natalia...and asks her what she is thinking. Natalia says I really like you and Tester...and I think we need to watch out for the big dogs in this game. Sydney is my girl...however she IS a threat in this game..and I need to watch out for that. Julissa also has Danny wrapped around her finger...and I truly think that is dangerous. Natalia then asks Slothy I really think you/me/Sydney/Tester should vote Danny together. This way...we knock Julissa down...while also gaining majority. Then you/me/Tester potentially might be able to form a 3 person majority. This conversation was followed by a Natalia and Slothy confessional.
Natalia confessional: “I have been trying real hard to hold my cards close to my chest in this game. At the end of the game...I AM here to win. I love Sydney to death..and I want to keep her safe as long as I can. HOWEVER...I need to look at the bigger picture. Tester/Slothy are less likely to win... thus voting with them makes sense. I am going to keep this information close to me though...and no act prematurely. Put for this vote...Danny has to go”.
Slothy confessional: “I think my conversation with Natalia went good. She is smart. And she knows Julissa/Sydney BOTH in different ways stand in her way to win. Thus for this vote...we could form a new majority...voting out Danny, and then take Sydney or Julissa out next. However...we need to make sure that we are comfortable sitting with Natalia at the end IF we make this move”.
After this we get a Sydney and Natalia conversation.
Natalia explains Syd I think they are willing to vote out Danny. This is perfect for us. Sydney explains so you think voting with them is the right decision...and not voting with Julissa right? Natalia responds listen girl...Julissa has played this game fearless as fuck. It is time to give her a wake up call. The two then concluded with the plan to vote out Danny...and then broke up. We were left with a Natalia and Sydney confessional
Natalia: “I think my convo with Syd went good. I need her to trust the fact that Danny HAS TO GO. This way...I have more options at the F5 vote.”
Sydney: “I really need to be careful about not seeming a threat. SO...For now...I need to let Natalia be the one in control. So I will do what she says for this vote….and let us take out Danny. My plan is to save my idol for next tribal...and definitely play it.”
Right before tribal we got one more conversation between Tester and Slothy.
Slothy explained to Tester man I really think Natalia might be down to work with us at the F5. I think that Julissa/Sydney have to BOTH go before the F3. Thus this will hopefully ensure that happens. Tester confirmed I do agree with you...however it makes me nervous keeping Sydney in the game. What if she has an idol? And we are just letting her get to F5 where she can just play it and keep herself safe. Slothy agrees that it is a risk...but this vote is the time for them to either pledge their allegiance to Natalia OR Danny. We are then left with one last Slothy confessional.
Slothy confessional: “In this vote...we are kinda showing our cards. We know EITHER Danny or Natalia HAS to be in the F3 with us in order for one of us to win...thus this vote kinda dictates which direction that will go.”
