Survivor S31 Power Rankings (Top 17) Oct 14, 2015
imageI am not surprised, nor saddened to see Peih-Gee go home, but I was surprised to see Jeff Varner in possible danger. From the looks of previews, Angkor looks in deep trouble and should be the tribe going to tribal council (which is why they're ranked 13-17). Here are my rankings!

17. Woo Hwang- Woo was in the minority, and Abi is really out to get him. It looks like it'll be a battle between Woo and Abi and Jeff, Tasha, and Savage will be in the middle. And I see Abi being the better goat to take to the end.

16. Abi-Maria Gomes- Abi is always in jeopardy for me. She won't win this game, but seems to still be in the majority. However, when he tribe goes to tribal council, she will still end up receiving votes as always.

15. Jeff Varner- My number one from last week falls to 15. This is simply because his tribe is the weakest and he was named a rat by Tasha. I see him being blindsided by her, but it's only a question of when.

14. Andrew Savage- Savage seemed like he was in danger but bigger characters like Peih-Gee, Abi, and Jeff saved himself. I think he's in a good position, and he and Tasha will be swing votes.

13. Tasha Fox- The final member of Angkor. I would rank her higher, but her tribe seems to be the most inevitable to go to tribal. If Jeff finds an opportunity, he may get her out, but I don't see it happening.

12. Terry Dietz- Terry was deeply screwed by the tribe swap. With him and Kelley in the minority, and Kelley having an idol, Terry is toast when his tribe loses. But I don't think his tribe will lose, so we're good.

11. Stephen Fishbach- I love Stephen but think he is always going to be a public enemy in this game. Jeremy still seems iffy about him, and if his tribe loses, I think he'll be next to go, but I don't think his tribe will lose.

10. Kelly Wiglesworth- Kelly and Varner's exchange after the challenge could put her in danger. I think Stephen is the bigger threat, but she could also see herself in jeopardy.

9. Kimmi Kappenberg- Kimmi is older, which always puts her in jeopardy, but I think she is safe for a while and is doing surprisingly well.

8. Kass McQuillen- Chaos Kass continues to impress and fit in. She is in the majority on the strongest tribe, so she may make it far again this season! I like Kass and hope she sticks around.

7. Monica Padilla- Still pretty uninvolved in anything. She's in the majority though, and that's always nice.

6. Keith Nale- Keith is on the strongest tribe, and is someone valuable for camp and challenges. He'll be around till merge. I like Keith, but I've never loved him, but I think this time around will be much stronger than in his previous season.

5. Ciera Eastin- Ciera has yet to really make any moves or appearances in general. She is one of my favorite players so I hope she gets involved soon. Her tribe is good, she's in the majority, she'll be around.

4. Joe Anglim- Joe is the leader of the strongest tribe. His tribe is going to the merge, and he won't be going anywhere until then.

3. Kelley Wentworth- Kelley is in the minority, but her idol is a great thing to have. Also, she is throwing Terry under the bus, so I don't think she'll really be in jeopardy, unless Terry can figure something out. Unfortunately, Terry just doesn't have the same level of strategy as Kelley, so Kelley should win over the other tribe mates. Having an idol is why she remains so high in the rankings, and she won't go down until she plays the idol, which won't be for some time.

2. Spencer Bledsoe- I like Spencer, and he's right where he needs to be with Jeremy. His edit is also promising as an underdog storyline. He's safe.

1. Jeremy Collins- He is running the game yet again. He has an idol, has a strong alliance, and has good connections with the other strong members of other tribes (Andrew, Tasha, and Joe). Jeremy can sail through this game, if he can just focus on making the right moves at the right time. He ain't going anywhere.

So, Jeremy and Kelley have idols, so they are locks to be safe this week. I don't see Angkor winning immunity, so between the five of them, I think Jeff, Abi, and Woo are in most danger and one of them will see themselves sent home.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Woo Hwang

Dancing With The Stars S21 Power Rankings (Round 5) Oct 12, 2015
imageGary brought an energy to the stage like no other, but it's not really a shame that he's gone. I predicted Paula & Louis to go, but I think Gary was also deserving of an elimination. I also predicted that Carlos may be in some danger. As for this weeks rankings for the Most Memorable Year, I think the number one choice is easy, but here are the rest...

10. Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya- His Buddy Holly dance was messy. His dances have gotten messier and messier, with very little glances of hope. It's sad to see him go, but at the same time, it's a gift. His dance was the worst of the night, but I'm still glad he enjoyed his experience.

9. Paula Deen and Louis van Amstel- This dance was okay, but just lacked any sort of memorable moments. I wasn't too impressed, but it was still one of her better dances. I think we still may see her go, however, now that Gary is gone, and she is clearly the weakest.

8. Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold- His pre-video will get him votes, for it was sad, touching, and moving. As for the thing that matters to me, the dancing, he was off tonight. His paso was slow, boring, and lacked any emotion. I think he's safe, but his worst dance so far by far.

7. Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas- My favorite dancer for weeks 2 and 4, she struggled. Being the first to go, she was sweet, but forgettable by the end of the night. She may be in danger, but she's too good to go home at this point. I think she's safe for a bit.

6. Andy Grammer and Allison Holker- I really love Andy. I think this was the most comfortable he's been, and he really rocked out to his own music. He's in the middle of the pack because the top 5 just went beyond the bar. But Andy definitely reached the bar.

5. Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson- I liked his dance. He has been boring me lately, but this one was good. As for dancing, it was spot on most of the time, and he is back in this game to win it.

4. Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess- I loved his rock and roll, fun dance, and I think he really nailed all his moves. At the end of the night, he was super memorable and will get a landslide of votes.

3. Hayes Grier and Emma Slater- Wow, Hayes was phenomenal. I didn't expect a song like "Stitches" to become so graceful and perfect. His best dance of the season, and one of mine of the whole season. He just locked in as a frontrunner with that dance.

2. Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy- Wow, I love Tamar's performance this week. She was dancing to her own song, like Nick and Andy, and you can tell that she is totally into it. This is the best I've seen her and she continues to grow on me.

1. Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough- There's nothing much you can say except beautiful. The first 10 of the season was well deserved, and she had us sobbing before she even started dancing. If she doesn't win, I'd be surprised. If she doesn't make the finale, it's a crime. If she goes home next, I am never watching the show again...

I think the front runners are Bindi, Tamar, Nick, Hayes, and probably still Alexa. I think Andy and Carlos fall to the middle of the pack, as does Alek. Paula is clearly towards the bottom, but we may see Alexa, Andy, Carlos, or Alek get a surprising boot. Who knows! I am not sure whether tonights episode is an elimination or not, but I will still predict the next boot.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Paula Deen and Louis van Amstel

The Amazing Race S27 Power Rankings (Top 9) Oct 12, 2015
imageI had Alex & Adam in spot 5, which was much better than they placed, and they were sent home. As for Tanner & Josh, they didn't place first like expected, but my favorite team, Justin & Diana did, so it's okay. Here are the rankings for top 9.

9. Ernest & Jin (Brothers)- They've been close to elimination twice, especially in this most recent episode. I wouldn't be surprised if they left next. They just aren't as strong as the other teams.

8. Kelsey & Joey (Dating News Anchors)- They have yet to really impress me and still fly way under the radar. I don't think they'll go home yet, but based on their edit, they'll go home fairly soon.

7. Tiffany & Krista (Former Cheerleaders)- They came back huge, but I just don't know if they're winner status yet. I still can't fathom them making it too far, but you never know. They could be underdogs, and so they're in the middle for me.

6. Jazmine & Danielle (Best Friends/Athletes)- Whereas the cheerleaders got more impressive, these gals didn't. They struggled big time and almost went home. But I think this was just a bad week, and they'll step it up for next time.

5. Denise & James Earl (Mother/Son)- The previews all show that a storm is brewing in their relationship, but they have been doing consistently well, so they'll be around.

4. Cindy & Rick (Newlyweds)- The most boring team in my opinion, but still is performing very well together. It's a matter of time before they go, because they're not a winning team, but they are better than most in terms of strength and teamwork.

3. Tanner & Josh (Best Friends)- I would put Tanner & Josh higher, but an injury can mean bad things on the race. I still think their rivalry is too good, and so they won't go home soon, but that injury could burden their winning status.

2. Justin & Diana (Engaged)- Between two of my favorite teams, we've already seen quarreling. If I had to pick a side, I would say that Justin & Diana just edge the boys out because they have a good comeback from week 1 to 2, an incredible story, and I like them as people.

1. Logan & Chris (Dating Paparazzi)- They have also been consistently strong, and since Justin & Diana and Tanner & Josh have already won legs, I'll give them a spot at number one. It's probably the only time I'll put anyone else in this spot, but they've done great thus far, and will win a leg at some point.

I think it's inevitable that Justin & Diana and Tanner & Josh are already set up for an intense finale, given that their rivalry has already built. Unless there's a U-turn, I don't see them going anywhere. I think the dancers have unfortunately danced their last dance.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Ernest & Jin

Survivor S31 Power Rankings (Top 18) Oct 3, 2015
imageAnother shocker, as I didn't see Shirin's elimination coming, and was liking Shirin in two episodes better than I had ever liked her last season. But as for the remaining 18, the tribe swap means a lot. Being a spoiler free ranking, no one knows what the tribes are, so I'm gonna base rankings on who I think will be fine with a tribe swap, and who is in danger.

18. Kass McQuillen- I think a tribe swap is worst case scenario for Kass. She will be the one voted out if her tribe loses, simply because she is untrustworthy, and weak in challenges. I think her days are numbered since she is no longer on the dominant team.

17. Kimmi Kappenberg- Like Kass, she is older and in a team stage, she is a weak link. Her new tribe may cut her loose if they lose.

16. Stephen Fishbach- I like Stephen, but his edit has proved to be pretty rough this time around, making him more and more outsider-like and unlikable, which is a shame. Everyone wants him out, but the only reason I don't have him on the very bottom is because I think a tribe swap gives him a little bit of wiggle room to make an actual alliance.

15. Monica Padilla- Monica who? I am a die hard fan, so I know who she is, but if you ask any plain Survivor watcher who she is, they'll give you a confused look. She has not done anything thus far.

14. Peih-Gee Law- Peih-Gee will need Jeff Varner in a tribe swap, otherwise, she may be in trouble. She's not the strongest, and is definitely a big character. She will also need to hope that Abi is not on her team.

13. Ciera Eastin- Ciera has not gotten much screen time, but I think she's a good player, and could make a solid alliance. The only thing that would send her home would just be if she was the weakest person on the team, which is probable.

12. Keith Nale- Everyone from Keith on (I think) is safe, and Keith is loyal, good in challenges, and likable, so he'll stick around.

11. Kelly Wiglesworth- Like Keith, she's a good tribe player and doesn't pose too much of a threat right now. Should be safe.

10. Abi-Maria Gomes- Abi was a shock to me last week, and ended up getting into a good alliance. If she can maintain that alliance, she will be good for some time. I don't know where she stands, but she makes good tv, and I think people look to her as a useful vote.

9. Woo Hwang- Woo is good for any tribe in terms of challenges, so he won't go home. He also showed good game playing last week against Shirin and Spencer. Loved it, and loving Woo more and more.

8. Tasha Fox- Tasha is a strong team player, and will stick around for some time.

7. Terry Dietz- I love Terry, and think he and Abi's unpredictable alliance is something heartwarming. People also like Terry and trust him, and he shouldn't have to worry till merge.

6. Spencer Bledsoe- I know what your thinking, Spencer almost went home. BUT, it seems like this tribe swap is mostly helpful of him. He has people who are willing to accept him into their arms, and his move at tribal was brilliant campaigning. I think this week is all about Spencer regaining his high status as a contender again. He could go home, but I think the edit is too obvious, suggesting that Spencer bounces back quickly.

5. Andrew Savage- Loved Savage's story, and think he is a lock for merge. He is a great guy and has lots of people on his side.

4. Jeremy Collins- Like Savage, he has a good alliance, and won't be blindsided, especially if his new tribe wants to win challenges.

3. Joe Anglim- Joey Amazing is someone so useful at a tribe swap, and getting rid of him would be extremely stupid now. He is someone people need in this game, and who the girls need for eye candy. If he's put on a tribe with many women, he may be able to make it far.

2. Kelley Wentworth- Last week was all about Kelley, this week was all about Varner and Spencer, but Kelley is still my pick to win. She is only number 2 because she was a little more subtle in episode 2, but don't count her out any time soon.

1. Jeff Varner- He made a big move and is playing an awesome game thus far. He will be able to wiggle his way out of any situation on any tribe, and will find some way to become the puppet master on whatever tribe he ends up on.

Well, Varner, Jeremy, and Kelley Wentworth are the only ones who look like winners (so far). There's plenty more game to be played. I think will see redemption from Spencer, and if Stephen can make a big move, we may see a winner potential for him too. I think the older ladies, Kass and Kimmi, are in biggest danger in a tribe swap.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Kass McQuillen

Dancing With The Stars S21 Power Rankings (Round 4) Oct 2, 2015
imageWell, I didn't predict Andy in the bottom two, and I thought we'd see Gary going, but Kim's medical condition took her out. Onto the next Power Rankings for TV Week!

10. Paula Deen and Louis van Amstel- This dance was slow and rough. It made me smile, but in terms of dancing, it was the worst. It sucks, cause I was routing for Paula, but her ship has sailed and sunk.

9. Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya- I didn't mind Gary's dance. As for a tango, it was actually okay. In terms of the other teams, it didn't match up. People love him though, so he may be safe.

8. Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson- The dancing was good, but man, was it a snoozefest. I was bored, and didn't think it helped Carlos. He may be a shocking early departure unless people remembered it by the end of the night. I didn't enjoy it though.

7. Andy Grammer and Allison Holker- Andy's dance last week wowed me. This one was a mess. Being in the bottom in elimination, he will definitely get votes from viewers, so he'll probably be sticking around.

6. Hayes Grier and Emma Slater- Hayes was fun and awesome this week. His dancing, while not on point, was fun and should give him lots of votes.

5. Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold- Alek killed it this week! I loved his creepy vampire dance, and think he deserved higher scores. He has established himself as a front runner.

4. Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy- I think Tamar and Val have trouble connecting as a partnership. Aside from that, her dancing was great. Bravo!

3. Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough- She got lower scores than usual, but I loved this high energy Jeffersons piece. I think she has such a charm and delight, and is currently the one to beat.

2. Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess- Wow. This dance was just so good for me. I don't think he'll win, but this dance definitely put him back on top. His best dance by far, and one of the best of the season.

1. Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas- Breaking Bad. Enough said.

I think Alexa is safe for sure, but may have to watch out for Carlos. Carlos or Andy could have a shocking early departure, but if America gets it right, either Paula or Gary will say goodbye. Their fan bases are big, but I think it's obvious.

PREDICTIONS:

Going Home- Paula Deen and Louis van Amstel

The Amazing Race S27 Power Rankings (Top 10) Oct 2, 2015
imageAfter a fun first episode, we have some front runners and some people who will need to really improve if they want a shot. I was correct in predicting Kelly & Shevonne going home, so let's home I get it right again!

10. Tiffany & Krista (Former Cheerleaders)- I was hoping the cheerleaders would show more potential, but they struggled hard. They should be going home soon, and this episode may well be their last.

9. Ernest & Jin (Brothers)- I like their story, but they are definitely a weaker team in the race. Their performance in volley ball was atrocious and I hope they can improve, otherwise they'll see themselves going home soon.

8. Kelsey & Joey (Dating News Anchors)- I have no real connection to the news anchors, but I'm not their biggest fan. Maybe it's because we've seen dating couples take the win recently.

7. Cindy & Rick (Newlyweds)- I just don't think they have what it takes. Despite taking 3rd place at pit stop, they seem to be slow and not entirely confident in themselves. They're okay, but not a winning team. The puzzle took too long, and it's only the first episode.

6. Denise & James Earl (Mother/Son)- I actually really enjoyed them more than I thought I would. Them placing high is good news for them going forward, but it looks like they may run into arguments quick, as the previews show. They are still only in the middle for me.

5. Alex & Adam (Cousins)- I love these guys. They aren't top ranked because they do face challenges in not being the most agile. I am routing for them, but they're in the middle for me because I don't know how well they'll do going forward.

4. Logan & Chris (Dating Paparazzi)- They seem to be tough, but not always on the same page. I do think they'll be contenders however, and we'll see them for some time.

3. Justin & Diana (Engaged)- Still my favorite team, I think the fast forward screwed them, and had they not attempted it or it was safe, they would've been number one. They are strong and have a great connection. Still my pick to win, and I think they'll jump up in the leaderboard this episode.

2. Jazmine & Danielle (Best Friends/Athletes)- Another strong team of athletes. As much as I want to route for an underdog team, they stay safe for now.

1. Tanner & Josh (Best Friends)- They took the top spot, which isn't much of a shock. They are one of two super strong athletic teams, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them win it all. Nor would I be disappointed.

I think that Tanner and Josh and Jazmine and Danielle are obviously the strongest teams and should stay at the top. I think cheerleaders and dancers are in some trouble, unless anyone makes a drastic mistake.

PREDICTIONS

Going Home- Tiffany & Krista
