It's...not actually as bad as I thought it would be. I heard it was just trashy unwatchable bull**** but so far it's not that bad. Maybe it gets worse later on, and I am kinda annoyed that it is kind of just a season where people are supposed to hook up all over the place, but so far it's been alright.
The contests have been pretty interesting so far and did like the Eric/Jessica appearance (love those guys), and it's a bit disappointing that there is a lot of underedited people in the house so far (Neil/Joshuah being the worst offenders followed closely by Chelsia/James), but I just know or think it's going to get so much worse. We'll see.
CONTESTANT RANKING: (Note that I'm keeping this based on what I've seen, not what I know of several of them in the future)
LOVE:
1. Allison: This chick is stuck in the crappiest situation ever because Ryan just happened to be dating Jen before BB9. She handled it a lot better than I expected her to and was surprised she wasn't actually the one who spilled the secret to the house (lol Parker/Jen). Plus her and Sheila pretending to be a lesbian couple for shits and giggles was hilarious.
LIKE:
2. Amanda: Amanda is just so CUTE! She's alright apart from her looks and her cute voice and personality, although Alex gives off slight creeper vibes so I'm wary for her. Plus her story about her dad was just sad.
3. Sheila: What a freaking trainwreck. When I see her and Adam together all I can think of is that Tom Lehrer song. You probably know which one. She's clearly all sorts of unstable and I feel so bad for her kid who has to watch his mother act like a psycopath in front of millions of viewers, but I did love her and Allison pretending to be a lesbian couple for shits and giggles.
4. Matt: Post-show shit aside, this guy is likeable enough. Boston accents are my favourite accents apart from Cajun accents and this guy is one of the biggest horndogs and bros I've ever seen plus he's not really that much of a horrible person (like I said at the start ignoring his post-show bs).
5. Adam: I was so unsettled by his r-word comment. I think he was trying to make a point, but it came across so terribly that it marked him. I don't even know what his point was, but that aside, he's alright. Like I said with Sheila, I immediately think of a certain Tom Lehrer song when I see the two of them together.
6. Ryan: He's alright, but he loses points for actually going along with Jen and Parker's stupid plan.
7. Alex: He has not done anything to offend me so far and he's shacked up with an awesome girl.
8. Natalie: She looks weird but she is so far innofensive and a bit cute.
9. *Sharon*: If she wasn't stuck with such an idiot partner I think she could have done well at the start.
TOLERANT:
10. Joshuah: He's so far irrelevant, but him and Neil make a cute couple together. The foreboding of knowing what he's going to say to Amanda in a few episodes pushes him down a lot, though.
WHO?:
11/12/13. Chelsia/James/Neil: Chelsia hasn't done anything yet, James threw a temper tantrum when Chelsia dropped in the first challenge, and Neil did not get a single confessional in 3 episodes. Woo.
DISLIKE:
14/15. Jen/Parker: WHY THE HELL DID YOU TELL EVERYONE JEN AND RYAN WERE A COUPLE. YOU GAINED NOTHING FROM IT. NOTHING.
16. *Jacob*: Has to literally be the dumbest player in Big Brother history and has the personality of a wet cabbage. Good riddance.
