Ugh. It's not so much that I dislike Cochran's character archtype. It's not so much that I don't think he should have won, because he obviously deserved it. It's just that from Day 1 of South Pacific to Day 39 of Caramoan this little twerp was shoved down our throats for every single episode. I was going to be fine with him being a small background character who occassionally made a funny comment when I saw pre-show South Pacific. I was fine with him being a back character with the occasional funny confessional pre-merge.
But then both the entirety of South Pacific and the post-merge of Caramoan turned into a gigantic circle-jerk centred on him. He's not endearing, he's not likeable, he's not even that good of a player. Getting into the Final Tribal Council with two goats is easy when it's a Final 3. His shtick got old after the first time he did the "LOL I'M A HUGE AWKWARD NERD THING, HAHAH!".
Basically, I don't have much more to say. I've expended enough energy as it is writing about him and I don't want to expend any more. Good riddance to a terrible season. I hope the next season doesn't blow as much.

completely agree, i actually liked him in premerge south pacific and then all of a sudden he becomes one of the 3 or so people getting 90% of the screentime -_-
definitely agree with you on this one, the whole "I'm a challenge dominator" when two of the challenges he won were with a significant advantage, one of them was eating food and the other was stacking cards. Like no cochran... you're not a challenge dominator, you're not a strategic mastermind. I mean what did he do in all honesty??? Got in an alliance and stuck with it? Wow.
