WINNER #8 - JULIA MORRIS (CELEBRITY APPRENTICE AUSTRALIA)

May 7, 2013 by Inky
imageShorter writeup is shorter.

I'd never seen a season of Celebrity Apprentice before I saw the first season of the Australia version, but it was almost enough to make me considering keeping watching. Mostly because like Karise and Tanedra, I saw someone in the cast who seemed to have enough talent at what they were doing to safely overcome their annoying competition. That someone was Julia Morris, who also happens to be a favourite comedienne of mine.

Julia had a natural talent for what she did on the show, as evident by the fact she never, I don't think, ever visited the boardroom. She would lead whatever team she led to victory, all the while showcasing her dry and amazing sense of humour along the way. There were of course some people in the cast who didn't like her being funny (Pauline Hanson being one of them - ugh at her being on the show in the first place, regardless of the lols she provided), but they could all go to hell.

After a certain point it got pretty obvious that Julia was winning, but rather than being annoyed at the obviousness of it all, I was glad, because Julia's just a funny woman who I was cheering for all the way. I was fleetingly cheering for Deni at the start of the series, but that's basically the only other person in an entire cast.

So yeah, not much else to add.

So there ends my last non-TAR/non-Survivor winner! Time to get into the god-tier of reality television winners!

Never seen this show but +12!

What's the deal with Zach and Flo? I always assumed they were hated because Lanza posted that their win was a bottom 10 RTV moment because of how un-fun their complaining were, but you and basically everyone on Sucks seems to like them.

zimdelinvasor people who write off flo and zach haven't watched the season that well. Zach is without a doubt one of the strongest racers in amazing race history, so giving him a low plaement alone would just be unfair, he pretty much won the race on his own and flo only started complaining in like the final 5, which is way late into the competition, for the first half of the race she was actually a really solid racer. Although I admit flo had some whiny tendencies, she owned up to them and admitted her faults and apologised for all of them, she has also been really polite post-show which helped me like her. I dunno, there is just a certain something about them I like and I'm glad to see Inky does too.

zimdelinvasor I'll get into it when I get to their write-up, but the basic consensus back then was that Flo was a whiny bitch who freaked out and made a big deal about every single little thing that happened on the race, no matter how big it was, while Zach basically somehow had the goodwill to put up with her and drag her across the entire race course doing on his own what had to be nearly every single task along the way.

So it was a case of people liked Zach, but him winning meant that Flo had to as well.
