Sucks he isn’t gonna see me live out my 30’s. But he went peacefully and in no pain, which is all I ever wanted. But this sucks, when does it getter better ?

Aw I'm so sorry Derek. People stop asking after the first few months and kind of expect you to be moved on, but from experience, it takes years. It does get better.
Losing my mom at 2 and my dad at 15. You got to create meaning without them and live life in their legacy and people who still have parents don’t understand the pain so you feel left out… I’m so sorry for your loss :(
Lost my dad at 12, it's so tough and I wish he was there for my highschool and teenage years to see me grow up. Be there for your mom, and the rest of your family, you're all going through it together ❤️❤️
