People are fleeing Kyiv as Russia advances and some are even losing their lives. Hate birthed all this chaos. This all came about because feelings of hate were acted upon. Hate acted upon can create chaos and displace perfectly innocent people from safety.
I saw this quote posted on Twitter in reference to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and that prompted me to reflect.
"May God bless and keep the czar... far away from us."
This is a quote from 'Fiddler On The Roof' and this quote made me reflect on my involvement with the play and the potential war we are all facing. I played the role of a villager in a stage production of 'Fiddler on the Roof Jr.' in 2002 and didn't understand the meaning of the role or the play back then. I do now and I grieve. It was the first official play I ever did and I've still got photos and a VHS tape of it. I didn't think much of the grim reality behind the role at the time because I was young and simply excited to be acting, but now I'm thinking about it a lot and comparing it to reality.
The people in the play were all forced to live in a meager state of existence simply because of who they were and what they believed while the rest of the world acted as if they were an inconvenience to everyone including God Himself. Eventually, the people within the play were forced to leave the village after enduring a 'pogrom' or demonstration of vandalism by those against their faith.
While 'Fiddler' was very much a play, Ukraine is very much being invaded by Russia and forced into a state of despair in the name of violence and hate. It's a sad thing and it's repeating history. May God bless the innocent people in all of this. Now that this comparison is in my mind, it's probably going to stay there and I'm going to be following these events in hopes that these events are resolved peacefully. I hope all of you also follow it. We can't afford to ignore this. Awareness is everything and even if you have to watch 'Fiddler on the Roof' to get in the frame of mind to think about this, do it. We should all be paying attention to this because it will eventually affect all of us if it isn't resolved.
The summary and reality of the situation is this. Russia attacked Ukraine. The friends of Ukraine are declaring that they will 'hold Russia accountable' for their behavior. Russia will most likely react aggressively and chaos will continue to unfold around the world as allies from both sides involve themselves. People are actively fleeing Kyiv as Russia advances. I think we all need to set our petty selves and differences aside and just be grateful that we have what we have and that we are as free as we are over here.

I wasn't able to participate in the challenge due to real life things going on and so I got sent to the Presidio with DaddyDev. We fought over when to actually do the Elimination Challenge before finally doing it today. Our challenge was called 'Balls to the Wall' and we had to fight over virtual balls in a thread and we both fought valiantly, but Dev won. I now leave the game to the survivors and I can now name my favorites: DaddyDev, NicoleF, Jxhn, Noah_Kondon, Eilish, and Britfelt...the rest of you I either don't know well, you didn't talk to me, or you weren't genuinely nice to me...Anyway, peace!

gabrieltrezza is the scummiest scumbag who has ever walked the face of the earth! He literally threw TMAN54445 in the death pit with someone who was easily able to beat him and Tris was left humiliated. Gabriel knew that Tris is physically disabled and sent him into the challenge knowing he would lose and it was so humiliating for Tris! I am not saying that ORS should be completely given to Tris, as Tris has already played once and done very well, but the way Tris went out was so disgusting and sad. It shouldn't have gone that way. >:(
Gabriel is an ABLEIST and that's that.
Anyway, in other news, the challenge was a disaster for the Pink Team, as I didn't understand what I was doing and I was pinch hitting because the original player didn't bother showing up, but thankfully, I was not put in danger of facing the elimination challenge. I also wish that MmabatlokoaMolefe would STOP misgendering my puppy as she/her because I do not consent to it! My dog is a boy and goes by he/him pronouns! Leave my dog the heck alone, thank you!
DaddyDev and I are also trucing. Thank God for small miracles.
I had to fight through 4 rounds of “Settle This or Save Me” before I got into a tiebreaker with Saint John and like the epic saint that he is, Jxhn gave the safety to me. The morally correct thing for me to do at that point was to save him, which I totally did!
Other than the competition, I engaged in socializing and very active conversations with a lot of the house! It was a very productive day!
There were a few sent to purgatory after the challenge and CalebDaBoss had a MASSIVE temper tantrum over the fact that I was saved and they were not, but I expected that from them because they royally dislike me. They are heavily influenced by DaddyDev and Dev's crazy, semi-psychotic cyberposse who all hide in a secret Discord club run by Dev. I know all of them who worship Dev, but I'll keep that to myself for now unless people really wanna know! Anyway, I am on DaddyDev's pooplist right now for reasons unknown to me. I think Batya also quit, but that is unconfirmed.
You need to mind your manners, ConstanceMarie, and learn some fecking decorum! Sawchuk55 is one of my best friends on this site and in this world, so it is absolutely unacceptable that you come for her! You mess with her, you mess with me; got it? We all know, ConstanceMarie, that you lack social graces and intelligence, but we had hoped that you had at least enough common sense to know that you were gonna get screamed at and made a social pariah if you went after Tengaged's Angel, Sawchuk55! Sawchuk is the queen, the saint, and is only just below Jesus Christ himself on the scale of lovability and social popularity! Leave our beautiful Sawchuk alone, apologize, beg for forgiveness, and then go and educate yourself on how to behave properly while you still have any friends left! Repent of your social sins before it's too late and you find yourself in social exile hell and lonliness purgatory, ConstanceMarie! I highly implore you to listen and learn!
