---------------1 Survivor--------------------

EPISODE 1 Highlights

- The castaways must trek 25 miles to their camp with all the supplies they can carry.

- ( LindsayP ), ( Janelle_Pierzina ) & ( LydiaTavera )were mad at everyone because they left them lagging behind and caused them to make a pact to look out for one another.

- ( Tommy1212 ) collapsed during the hike which put the trek on hold and was immediately seen as the weakest link.

- ( subfriend ) was very helpful with navigating the others to camp and picked up a chicken along the way.

- ( CharlotteArnold ) drank more water than she should've which led to a confrontation with ( bryce12 )

- ( Insanity17 ) and ( sameister ) sat around while everyone else worked to get fire, shelter and water going

- It rained heavily that night and ( benner_2304 ) started to whine and complain about getting wet.  ( sturner161 ) was so  annoyed he almost smacked him to get him to shut up.

- ( koolmanmadden )snored really loud angering some people.

- Thinking that it would solve the leaky shelter, ( Bo_oM ) moved a piece of bamboo from the shelter, but the whole thing collapsed angering the whole tribe for having to sleep in the rain. He got an earful from a lot of people.

- The next day ( koolmanmadden ) thought it would be brilliant to approach everyone for an alliance, but nobody is buying it.

- Everyone is complaining how horrible ( ReaganRiley ) smells despite it being only Day 2. Everyone gave subtle hints to get her to freshen up like offering lime, invitations to swim to the ocean several times, etc.

- After cuddling last night, ( Deceased ) and ( MISSimogen ) are getting close. ( Zack2010 ) is jealous because he has a crush with MISSimogen and plans to get Deceased
out of the way.

- ( XJamzX ) thought that there is too many people to be sharing food, so he builds his own secret food stash deep in the jungle.

- ( JustTheRightGuy ) , ( 1Swampy8 ), ( lassidoggy ) likes to gossip about everyone at camp.

- ( Akomes ), ( mercedes415 ), ( surviva ) and ( tengaged_return ) went skinny dipping and formed an alliance before heading back to camp.

- ( lightening ) frequently disappears from camp to look for the immunity idol, but to no avail.

- ( Zack2010 ) confronts ( MISSimogen ) on why she prefer being with ( Deceased ) over him. ( Deceased ) hears the conversation and confronts Zack2010 who decided to taunt him. This led to Deceased falling for the taunt and slightly pushed Zack2010 away from him, but  Zack2010 cried foul saying that he had been "assaulted" and threatened to sue the Production if the situation is not solved since the cameras caught the act.

- The Producers and Jeff Probst assess the situation and decided that Deceased broke the rules by being in physical contact with another castaway outside of a challenge and was ejected from the game. Upon exit, Deceased turns and calls Zack2010 a "Punk Ass Bitch" 25 castaways remain.

- In a Challenge on Day 3, the remaining castaways must dig underneath the sand to find puzzle pieces that they must assemble to form a puzzle of the map of India. The first 12 to finish is immune from elimination.

- The order of the top 12 are: (1st) 1Swampy8 2) Bo_oM 3) LydiaTavera 4) JustTheRightGuy 5) koolmanmadden 6) CharlotteArnold 7) lightening 8) subfriend 9) benner_2304 10) Tommy1212 11) sturner161 and 12) Insanity17 )

- Now for the twist: The first half of Survivor will be played in pairs. Each team will wear a colored buff and named after the twelve houses of the Hindu Zodiac. The 12 winners will pick their partner from the non winners--meaning 1 will not be chosen and will go home after 3 days.

Here are the teams selected by the order of the winners:

Mesa (White Buffs)- 1Swampy8 chose ( sameister ) for placing 13th and almost making the 12.
Vrsabha (Peach Buffs)- Bo_oM chose ( surviva )
Mithuna (Purple Buffs)- LydiaTavera chose ( MISSimogen )
Karka (Orange Buffs)- JustTheRightGuy picks ( tengaged_return )
Simha (Red Buffs)- kolmanmadden has chosen ( lassidoggy )
Kanya (Pink Buffs)- CharlotteArnold picks ( XJamzX )
Tula (Yellow Buffs)- lightening chooses ( Akomes )
Vrscika (Black Buffs)- subfriend picks ( Janelle_Pierzina )
Dhanus (Green Buffs)- benner_2304 has chosen ( Zack2010 )
Makara (Brown Buffs)- Tommy1212 chooses ( bryce12 )
Kumbha (Blue Buffs)- sturner161 picks ( LindsayP )
Mina (Gray Buffs)- Insanity17 has picked ( mercedes415 )

-That leaves ReaganRiley not getting picked and was eliminated.

- When asked, a tearful ReaganRiley was hurt about the elimination claiming that she connected with alot of the tribemates, but many of them claimed that ReaganRiley's  hygiene is keeping them from interacting stating that they get intense headaches from the odor and could not think properly as long as ReaganRiley is around and the only thing she talks about are comic books.

- ReaganRiley is escorted out of the beach from a boat while the 12 official teams return back to camp.

Eliminated

20th- Deceased - Disqualified Day 2
19th- ReaganRiley - Not chosen on a team Day 3

Survivor One World Ep 8 review Apr 5, 2012
I'm a little disappointed in this episode...the trailer & the commercial told us that a 'major' player will be blindsided which I assume could turn the tide in a whole unexpected way. All I got was a predictable boot and possibly a boring "pagoning" of the original Manono (or peni-goning in this scenario) for the remainder of the season. I felt like us viewers are the one's who "got played" this episode.

My score card

Tikiano- All I see is paranoia from them this episode. Now that the women a clearly in charge, I really pray that the men would wise up and figure who's in control and take them out. With this group of misfits, it won't that hard to pull an upset.

Kim- She played the hell out of this episode. She got the girls thinking she's with them and Troyzan believed her lie about Mike. Also, tailing Jay to make sure he doesn't spill the beans was pretty smart. According to Mike at Ponderosa, he bonded with Kim, so I have to give props to her social game as well. She just needs to watch her mouth in tribal, cause she sounds too smart for her own good. +1

Kat- I lol'd when she came up with "Rantics" to describe Tarzan's shenanigans. She is still a character that is just "filler" and not part of the core girl's alliance so she's a free agent when it comes to choosing sides. Chances of winning? I doubt it. +1

Sabrina- Her edit is dwindling as the season goes on but her spot is secure for now...Unless the men finds a way to turn the tide around. As the 'leader' of the Women's tribe, she will be target #1 if that happens. +1

Chelsea- Her rantings about Tarzan is coming off as spoiled from my point of view. Not a big fan of gals under the knife either. Minus points this week for making Jay paranoid for no reason at all. I was right about her lack of gameplay in the previews. -1

Jay- I'm glad that Jay got a significant edit this week after being in the background in the past few episodes. I'm glad that he has awareness of what's going on around camp. He is right about being worried since the girls have the numbers advantage right now. If him & Troyzan pull a move to get ahead, they will be the hereos of this season. +2

Michael- His edit and story was pretty much non-existent and he joins the myriad of secondary characters to be voted off as background players. His blindside doesn't really feel like one, since the viewers see it coming. He's a huge threat in challenges and he has no allies--so the wildcard has to go +1

Troyzan- It is soooo frustrating seeing Troy react to Kim's lie as he buys it hook, line and sinker. Seriously, he's better than that. He could've played the idol, knock out a girl and then next tribal council, get someone like Christina to defect and take out another girl and they can oust her and Mike at 5/6 and a final 4 w/ Jay, Leif and Tarzan. I really hope he can redeem himself next week. -2

Leif- His joyous celebration over the reward was the only sign of personality I've seen of him all season. He is so out of the loop, at this point he is just waiting to be voted off. He's another dangerous player because the girls are fond of him and he's not a challenge threat. +1

Tarzan- He is in an island on his own. Unlike Colton, the others do not know how to handle him which is a shame because people can use his vote and they don't seem to care. He came off very tired and cranky this episode. -1

Alicia- I'm glad she didn't win that immunity. Her silent edit the past 2 weeks is no excuse for the vileness she displayed a few weeks ago. Is it just me or is she the only one who gets fatter instead of skinnier on the island? Her ugly ass bathing suit could barely contain her. -1

Christina- She's pretty much bumbling around this episode and she's pretty much a swing vote if Troy gets the brains to get her to join the men. Her cockroach edit is setting her up to be stomped on right now, but I have hope -1

Tikiano gets a +1 and that's what I thought of the entire cast as a whole this episode

But here are my scores for extra bits

Colton in the recaps--seriously CBS? Are you really gonna milk the heck out of this? -2
Boston Rob's Survivor Originals- Not a fan, but I liked the segment +1
Fun slide at the reward challenge--I want one in my backyard! +2
Tarzan covered up this episode +1
Many shots of Alicia being blurred -2

*I finally got a correct prediction--I predicted Mike will be 11th in the pre-season! (My record now stands as 1 correct, 1 right pre-juror, 4 misses)

This episode gets a +1 added in with the +24 last episode making this season a +25 so far.

Next week, the previous shows the men fighting back. But after the let down this episode brought, I'm gonna be realistic and say its another red herring even if I wanna believe it so badly. It's refreshing to see girls dominating after several seasons where men usually outnumber the women but I prefer the drama, tension and good gameplay which has been lacking for a few seasons now.

One more thing...this is the 4th season of Survivor filmed in Samoa and whenever Survivor films there, a woman prevails: Natalie, Sandra and Sophie all have won their respective seasons so Are we due for a 4th (which is starting to look like it) or will we have Troyzan, Jay or even Leif break the curse for the men and pull a Chris Daugherty?

Survivor One World Ep 7 review Mar 28, 2012
Wow. I'm not sure how I feel about a Colton free episode--yes, I found him disgusting on the show, but now I feel like the strategic side of Survivor was missing somehow. The drama was definitely tolerable now that Colton is gone.

My score card

Tikiano- Overall, there isn't really a major dominant player in terms of drama or strategy without Colton, but since they are even gender-wise (which we haven't seen since Nicaragua) and side alliances forming, I can see a strategic story line planning out. +1

Kim- I am surprised that no one sees Kim as THE major threat. With a Manono Male out, she has a lot of options in the game. But now, she needs to decide whose side she's on or appear very devious. I just wished she wasn't so boring. +4

Kat- She was invisible except for tribal where we see her deer lost in the headlights when her name came up. If a provider can be targeted, deadweights like her are expendable as well. I still don't know why the hell she stepped off the challenge abruptly. I thought she was gonna win it too. +1

Sabrina- With a male down, the girls have the upper hand and she is close with Kim who is her main safety line. Unless Kim blindsides her, I don't see her leaving just yet. +2

Chelsea- Was not thinking strategically after the Tarzan debacle w/ the laundry. Yes, he's annoying but he's easier to beat. She came off to me as someone who's always annoyed -1

Jay- Jay is in the neutral position, though I see him more allied with the core Salani. I can see him and Chelsea forming a close bond, but he better hope that the women won't take out the men. +1

Michael- He threw Leif under the bus and now Jonas. He would do anything to stay in the game. Couple that with his brute strength and he's a big threat that you can't ignore but take out ASAP -1

Troyzan- As a fan of the show, Troy is getting a better edit as the episodes progress which makes me wanna root for him. Kudos on winning immunity and finding the idol--it was smart too to look for it while everyone's asleep +5

Leif- Let's face it. Leif is another strong Manono that could be taken out next if Salani continues to pick them off. He hasn't done much game wise and frankly, I wouldn't mind loosing a non-existent player next week -2

Jonas- Jonas' achilles heel was his communication skills. Had he just learn to appease Tarzan, he wouldn't be in this predicament. He was the right person to target being the strongest in a lesser alliance. Even the men voted for him. -2

Tarzan- He was such a cry baby this episode. To be honest, Tarzan is getting drawn out for me. Im getting tired of his antics, his ranting and the gross underwear. BTW, if I was washing my shorts and he threw in his s*** stained underwear in the pot, I would throw the boiling hot water back at him. And WTF w/ brushing Jonas off a tribal after he apologized? I hope he's gone next--that would be an interesting Ponderosa video -7

Alicia- I'm glad she didn't open her mouth much this episode. I want her to go too. Getting tired of looking at her ugly bathing suit and her cellulite ridden cankles -1

Christina- She is the most vulnerable of the women at this point. With Salani targeting the useless people and she's clearly on that list. Kim could just easily vote her off so she can appease the men on her alliance. I just want her to outlast Alicia though. +1

Tikiano gets a +1 and that's what I thought of the entire cast as a whole this episode

But here are my scores for extra bits

Yay! An intro with the castaways on it!! +2
Boo! Only it only has the merged people on it -2
Yay! Colton's not in the intro :) +1
Yay! No Colton--at all! +1
Very close reward challenge win +1
Recycled immunity challenge -2

This episode gets a +1 added in with the +23 last episode making this season a +24 so far.

Next episode is where things pick up--I sense a lot of strategic decision being made and I can't wait to see it.

Survivor One World Ep 6 review Mar 22, 2012
To me this is my 3rd WTF episode in a row. So much going on. We got another medivac and a merge that's gonna be interesting.

My score card

Salani- They are obviously the better team no matter what kind of challenge you put out there. With the merge looming, I think they have the upper hand to take out anyone from Manono +8

Kim- Kim is the narrator for Salani this episode. I'm starting to see her a front runner more and more, saying the right things at tribal. With Colton gone, she's the new person to watch for +2

Kat- She was barely seen the past two weeks and I'm starting to miss her dumb blonde moments, like not knowing what was an apendicitis. She's pretty much a character right now who I see no chance in winning +2

Sabrina- I can tell how close she was with Monica from her reaction. Knowing that she may have to dump the girls if it comes down to it shows that she's playing this game. Not sure if she can outmaneuver Chelsea/Kim though +2

Chelsea- Chelsea came off very spoiled and irritated to me this episode. And she looks like she could use some sleep.
-1

Jay- If the girls start eliminating the men, I think Jay would be one of the last ones standing. His voice was much more helium-y this episode than normal. +1

Michael- He definitely helped Salani trumendously in challenges. But now that they merge he becomes a threat. He's the Christina of the men--he has no real allies in the game. +1

Troyzan- Him and Jay have more options than the men coming into the merge. The women like him and he has a few ties with some of the men. I can see him lasting far. +1

Manono- Colton being gone gave Christina access to the merge and Jonas taking power. I'm glad they merged since they will be decimated 7-3 if the tribes merge at 10. +1

Colton- Its such a shame to have a great villain like Colton end up being medivac'd (youngest ever to have done so) since he was the main story so far. But, America is done with the cattyness so hopefully, he gets to be more enjoyable the 2nd time around +1

Leif- He woudl've been the swing vote had Manono had to vote someone off next. He's pretty much a follower at this point and I don't see him taking the game at all. He does need to grow a back bone a pick a side +1

Jonas- As much as I couldn't stand him last episode, he's starting to play the game. But now, he's gonna be seen as men's 'leader' and could be in danger of being targeted. +1

Tarzan- Dr. Tarzan would've been more likeable had he not defend Colton and Alicia. Yes, he's an island to himself next episode, but I've never seen eccentric older men since Bob go further in the game so its a treat for me. -1

Alicia- I Lol'd when Haglicia thought she'd get the idol from Colton. Obviously, she'll go back to the women. I really hope they can finally see through her. -3

Christina- Should thank Kourtney, Bill, Monica and Colton for allowing her to get to the merge. She's a fighter, but I don't see her chances in the merge to well. She's pretty much public enemy #1 since day 1. I did like how she cared for Colton despite the insults he gave her +2

Salani's 8 + Manono's 1 = 9 and that's what I thought of the entire cast as a whole

But here are my scores for extra bits

Ice Cream Shack reward looked tacky--the ice cream didn't even looked like they were the good kind -2
Saw a slightly longer version of the intro, but no names -1
I would be frustrated if I participated in that reward challenge too. Breaking coconuts really? -1
Probst telling how pathetic Alicia was in the challenge +1
A merge where the genders are even in numbers since Nicaragua +2
Black Merge Buffs again? really? -4
I only got 1/6 pre merge boots correctly -2
Unique way to merge +1
Ozzy thinking going to Redemption Island worked for him -1

This episode gets a +2 added in with the +23 last episode making this season a +25 so far.

Is this the quickest pre-merge or what?

Suvivor One World Ep 5 review Mar 14, 2012
I don't know how I feel about the episode I just watched. It set a precedent of how the game will play out. We did watch a masterful gameplay from Colton though.

My score card

Salani- They are clearly the powerhouse team right now. I would feel safe with these people right now. With them catching food and dominating challenges, I don't see anyone of them in danger for a while. +12

Kim- If Sabrina is the visible leader of the women, Kim is the top dog of all of them. She has Sabrina & Chelsea and Troyzan & Jay on the side plus the idol. I hope this sets up for her to win the game. Anyone but Colton please. +5

Kat- She starting to have a better edit by fading into the background. But since her tribe is overpowered right now and her main alliance is still intact, she's safe for now. +1

Sabrina- Sabrina definitely was relieved to have Kim & Chelsea in her tribe which means, she's safe for now. But Kim not telling her about her idol means, she's the third wheel in that alliance. +1

Chelsea- Chelsea is pretty much Kim's lackey and probably would do what she's told. She looks like riding on Kim's coattails. +1

Jay- Jay's chances improved when he made a side deal w/ Kim & Troyzan. At least he won't be target if the women take control of the game. +1

Michael- He definitely won the immunity challenge for the tribe and an efficient provider. But since Salani is too powerful as it is, he may just be ousted if they loose. The shuffle really helped his standing a lot. +1

Troyzan- His side alliance with Jay and Kim could be a good counter alliance if Colton goes on a power trip. He's likeable enough to slide through the merge. +2

Manono- I feel like with Colton on the reins, he pretty much gets what he wants. Yes, they are out matched by braun, but I feel that they're just gonna give up and loose people rather than fighting it out until the merge. +5

Colton- The move to oust Monica was brilliant. Yes, he has everyone cowering in fear which is a good tactic in advancing (just like dictators in the past) but let's face it, is he ever gonna get any votes from the jury? Good thing he can get rid of people and be nasty about it pre jury but will everyone else take notice? +1

Leif- With Colton putting him in check and Jonas & Tarzan weary of him, he has no choice but to go along with their plans. He's just gonna be voted off after the women. +1

Jonas- He definitely dropped from my favorites this season. He pretty much just let Colton roll over him and he didn't give me any good vibes about him. He is definitely Colton's dingle berry. -1

Tarzan- Please cover this man up!!! That view of him bending over in his bikini was gross!!! Then we get to see his antics in tribal where he's as coherent as an alzheimer's patient. He would make a good goat to take on day 39. +1

Alicia- My least liked female and my least liked male joined forces and its brilliant--in a dictator sort of way. I still think Colton would dump her to keep the men. -1

Christina- Poor Christina. Her position was dire at Salani and it became even more dire in Manono. I feel bad that her last few days will be miserable with Colton torturing her. +1

Monica- Poor Monica. She was outwitted by a spoiled 20 year old. It was a brilliant strategy by Colton, though it was hard for me to watch her go down like that after her contributions to the tribe. +3

Salani's 6 + Manono's 5 = 11 and that's what I thought of the entire cast as a whole

But here are my scores for extra bits

Manono possibly getting Ulong'd -1
Too much shots of Tarzan in his underwear -2
Got a little balanced edit from bot tribes +1
A challenge to fill up water buckets...really -1
I finally got one of my predicted pre-merge boots!!! +1

This episode gets a +9 added in with the +14 last episode making this season a +23 so far.

Barring Colton and Alicia's personalites this episode was decent at the most. I just can't bare to see Christina being torn apart before she is voted off and another castaway could get medivac'd. Maybe they should've casted 20 people this season. Also, Colton may have outwitted Matt, Bill and Monica but they left with much grace.
