Hello! And Welcome back to Episode 11 of Happy Holiday Survivor!!!!
Last Episode in a 'don't want to lose' reward challenge, a team's comeback from behind garnering them the win. Santa Claus/Martians of the winning team on the reward challenge, took their win and ran with it, also winning immunity as well. At camp Glittery finally lands a joke causing a bond between them and Buddy to form. However it is a new alliance between Fievel, Sleigh Ride, and Shattered Dreams that enforces tribe dynamics.
In another shocking tribal, Shattered Dreams played an idol, negating 5 more votes against them, letting the newly formed alliance get Shattered Dreams target Big Presents out, for the second time, with just 3 votes.
With the tribe now split into two groups, which group will take control, or will they simply take out the middle man? Lets find out.

Big Presents arrives on Edge of Extinction, everyone is shocked that it isn't Shattered Dreams, except AIWFCIY and Max. Big Presents explains what happened and Shattered Dreams idol play, going as far as to claiming that Shattered Dreams has 9 lives.
Opening Confessionals:
Shattered Dreams: I am beyond stoked to still have fire in this game. I won't give up. I will fight until the Host says the tribe has spoken. Or until I win. I just gotta find an idol, or win that immunity challenge.
Buddy: I've sort of realized I fell into this weird position on the tribe. There seems to be a group of 3 people whom I have been voting with and a group of 3, who have been voting against me. I really have the power to choose which group would benefit me the most.
Sleigh Ride: Well, I am happy to still have Shattered Dreams here, because that does mean more numbers for the underdogs of the game, but I can't help but feel that they are only using me and Fievel and dont' actually care who makes it to the end with them. But for now, they are on my side as far as I can tell, and them being on my side is beneficial. They are a shield to absorb all the votes.

Meaning SHATTERED DREAMS has WON IMMUNITY! Their third immunity win this season.
Challenge Confessionals:
Shattered Dreams: YES! I needed that more than anyone else. Does this make me more of a threat? Yes. But does it also mean I won't be going to Edge of Extinction tonight? Also YES! Find someone else to vote out. Cause I am safe.
Sleigh Ride: Not only did I get last, I also am worried that Shattered Dreams won. Me and Fievel are minority and the only two in minority who can be voted out. We can maybe try and convince Buddy to vote with us. Or convince the other side that Buddy is dangerous in the middle?
Fievel: Awh yeah, second place ain't so bad. Sure it isn't the win... but it is pretty dang close. Now all that is left is to make sure Sleigh Ride and I are safe.
Santa Claus/Martians: This is probably worst case scenario. Shattered Dreams is safe... they just will never get voted out. I am convinced. Now it is time to figure out. Who now?
TRIBAL EVENTS!

Event Confessionals
Sleigh Ride: That little sing along was sure to boost spirits and also maybe make me a little more likable to prevent me from going home.
Shattered Dreams: As much as I liked the group I was in, it was good when I needed them, but they aren't that useful to me anymore. I got who I wanted gone, and I am safe right now, maybe I will reach out next tribal, and hopefully get them to vote with me again.
Glittery: Sleigh Ride thinks they are sooooooo clever doing a group sing-a-long. I can do the same thing. Probably even better than them.
Bucky's Arm: Fievel approached me and my alliance with a plan to get out Buddy. Glittery didn't seem too thrilled about the idea, telling me afterwards that this is the perfect opportunity to get out Sleigh Ride. But I think it makes sense. I mean he is playing the middle, but it really is up to my alliance if they want to do that or not.
TARGETS AND TRIBAL:
Shattered Dreams is targeting Bucky's Arm. Shattered Dreams does not like Bucky's Arm.
Sleigh Ride and Glittery are targeting one another. They don't like each other. And I doubt they ever will.
Fievel is targeting Buddy. He doesn't really like Buddy, plus... playing the middle is dangerous.
At Tribal I ask some questions.
Q: Shattered Dreams, I know winning that immunity was important for you. But this vote is just as important. Who do you target in order to further propel your game?
A: Well, ideally I can get out someone who has targeted me since my first immunity win. But at the same time I want my vote to matter. So if I am targeting one person, but it seems like everyone else is voting for another. My vote kind of just becomes useless, and frankly obvious, and I don't want to be obvious.
Q: Fievel, you were very close to winning immunity and unfortunately did not. You also were close to winning the reward? Does being that close but still not winning impact you negatively?
A: Awh, I was hoping you'd ask a different question about how genius I am, but yeah I guess so. I really wanted to go on that reward, and given the reasoning for Bucky's Arm being picked, I thought surely I would get picked as well. But Santa Claus/Martians reasoning wasn't actually what they said, so now I understand a bit more. As for immunity, I am happy for Shattered Dreams, they wanted that immunity more than everyone else.

Buddy: It sucks to get out. I tried to go with Fievel and Sleigh Ride's plan... and it almost worked, but sadly it just fell short.
Santa Claus/Martians: I am so confused. Fievel approaches us to vote out Buddy, because he is dangerous playing both sides, and then turns around and votes against me. I mean it was smart, stupid because it failed. But smart.
Fievel: My little devious plan almost came to fruition. If only a certain someone whose name is appropriately named Shattered Dreams voted with us. That would've been perfect.

CLOSING THOUGHTS BY ME!
I am going to try my best to explain this vote first. So under the group targets tab, which is something I choose to omit from the write-ups, because in my opinion it does make the votes very obvious. The alliance of Fievel and Sleigh Ride targeted Santa Claus/Martians. The reason it didn't get mentioned in the episode until the closing statements, because I literally thought that maybe only 1 vote would've gone their way. Simply due to the fact both Fievel and Sleigh Ride were targeting two separate people except Santa Claus/Martians.
It just sucks cause the narrative I was trying to project was one where Fievel and Sleigh Ride lead the Buddy vote and I only did that because Fievel targeted Buddy in the end. But I guess there was some background shenanigans going on that didn't make the episode. Also the reason Bucky's Arm voted Sleigh Ride at first was because of his strong bond with Buddy.
As for Buddy going, it does not upset me too much, because the sim struggled to include him a lot, I also did as well. Nothing really ever happened involving him so it was hard for me to try and incorporate him into the episodes in a meaningful way, but I do wish him the best on Edge of Extinction.
