Hello! And Welcome back to Episode 6 of Happy Holiday Survivor!!!!
This episode is technically a retype, so some things might be better than originally planned and some things might be worse.
Last Episode the Exiled people on Edge of Extinction had a hunt to find the disadvantage advantage, in which Gizmo was successful. In the reward challenge the Songs and etc. Tribe, and the Characters and etc. Tribe won, however in a twist where only one tribe would win immunity, the Happy Tribe pulled out a win. After a heated argument between Christmas Tree Farm and Shattered Dreams, Christmas Tree Farm was deemed the pot-stirrer, and was voted out at a joint tribal council, in an almost unanimous 6-2 Vote.
But with the merge and the return challenge this episode, anything can happen. Someone will be the first returnee of the season, someone will be the first person to win individual immunity, and someone will be the first person to be voted out at the merge.
Let's find out what happens right here, right now.

OH Exiled 6, it's that time, it's what you have all been waiting for. THE RETURN CHALLENGE!
One of you will return to the game, and maybe shake up the game, but first Gizmo, you must decide which fellow competitor you are wanting to use the disadvantage advantage on, penalizing them in the return challenge.
Gizmo: As much as I don't want to penalize anyone... I know I technically have to, and I think I have to go with my biggest competitor and who will likely best me in the return challenge. So Eggnog, I am very sorry to do this, but it must be done.
Eggnog nods, disappointed but they understand.
Alright and now it is time for the actual challenge!

"Castaways must climb on top of a net to retrieve a bag, then make their way to a locked gate. Using sticks and string, each castaway must retrieve a set of keys to unlock their gate. Once through the gate, they must maneuver a ball on a vertical snake maze, while standing on a balance beam, to the top of the maze. The first person to get their ball to the top of the maze would return to the game."

BIG PRESENTS!!!!!!!! Congrats you are the winner of the challenge, and will return to the game! But that is not all, you will also be given two halves to an immunity idol. However there is a couple of catches. 1) you can only join the two halves of the idol if you survive the first tribal council. 2) You Must give one half of the idol to someone else left in the game. 3) That person must also survive the next tribal council. 4) It will be up to them if they want you to even have the full idol. So you must choose someone you trust, which can be a little hard, considering you were voted out.
CONGRATS ON THE MERGE! You all did it! Congrats! You have made it to what most people call the real game, or the beginning of the game. But I, a normal person, simply call it the second half of the game. But nonetheless congrats! AND we have a special surprise. Earlier today the 6 previously voted out Happy Holiday Survivors competed in the return challenge I've been hyping up all season long. So here they are, the winner!
Big Presents walks out revealing themselves, most faces looked shocked, some curious, some saddened, due to them being the ones who voted them out. Let's give a warm welcome to Big Presents! Now in a little while, one of you will win the first individual immunity challenge of the merge as well as one of you will be the first person voted out in the merge, make sure that is not you.

Opening Confessionals:
Shattered Dreams: Very very happy to have made the merge, and to be away for the toxicity that is Christmas Tree Farm, now here is hoping it is smooth sailing from here for me, and that I won't ever have a dramatic person on my case again.
Fievel: WOOHOO! I made the merge! All my best friends are back together!
Baby Grinch: The merge, time for me to play the game to the fullest of my ability, here's hoping I can control this game from here on out.
Big Presents: I am stoked to be back, just hope I don't get voted out right away. I think winning immunity here is my best bet, but there's just no telling.
(BC) Sleigh Ride: With my biggest ally voted out of the game, it is time to turn to some old friends, I still got decent relationships despite allying myself with Christmas Tree Farm, at least I think there is no hard feelings, so I'm hoping I can turn to them for safety.
Relationship Highlights!
Big Presents, per rules of the half idol, gives a part of it to Max, which makes sense as Max is the only one who didn't vote them out.
Also Here is a REFRESH on the alliances in the game:

Alliance 3 has Baby Grinch, Fievel, and AIWFCIY
There is a ton of relationships highlighted, which makes sense as there is 13 people in the merge. But instead of highlighting every single person's relationship, I felt as though it was necessary to highlight those who may be on the bottom of the totem pole so to speak.
Of her three highlighted relationships, Annabelle has 2 negative relationships. An extreme mutual hatred for Bucky's Arm, which is the strongest negative relationship in the game. As well as medium dislike with Baby Grinch.
Of Baby Grinch's two highlighted relationships, he has half negative and half positive, his negative of course being with Annabelle.
And of their two relationships Max and Fievel both each have one negative relationship highlighted with one another.
According to the simulation, all the other people get along. However there are 4 people who don't have any relationships highlighted so it is uncertain where their feeling lie, or what other people feel about them. Those people are: Big Presents, Buddy, Hey Sis, It's Christmas, and Sleigh Ride.

(BC) Bucky's Arm: Nice to have mostly positive relationships, though for many reasons I don't get along with Annabelle. Whatever thats her loss, there are bigger fish to fry besides me, and she's got some good air on her shoulder to realize that.
(BC) Annabelle: I really need to make an effort to improve my relationships. I just get the sense that there are a few people who don't like me... and maybe it's because they get the sense I also don't like him... but who knows. All I know is, I have to suck it up, and just be the bigger person in order to enhance my chances of winning.

Max, who is speaking in an American accent: Getting last is not ideal but-- BARK BARK BARK!
Host: Hey! What happened???
Production: Ah, it seems him talking in an American accent made it short circuit and break... uh we will try and get it fixed it ASAP!
Big Presents' ribbons droop down: I won't lie, I am feeling a bit discouraged. I really felt like I needed that immunity because I'm feeling nervous about being right back on Edge of Extinction.
Baby Grinch: I don't think I needed immunity, but to be that close and lose it all, it sucks. But I think I should be find, it would just be nice to have the reassurance that I definitely wouldn't go.
Annabelle: Yay I won! This helps a lot for two things. One, I won't get voted out and 2) It just further proves how much of an asset I was for my team in the team challenges.
TRIBAL EVENTS:
Idol Refresher:
Big Presents and Max currently share one half an idol. This idol will become a full idol if they both survive this next tribal.
Bucky's Arm has an idol.
Shattered Dreams has an idol.
And Max has an idol.
A minor disagreement between Glittery and Baby Grinch occurs. A group of people including Glittery and Baby Grinch are sat around the fire at camp. Glittery makes a light-hearted joke, said seriously, about Baby Grinch throwing the challenge. Baby Grinch, doesn't see it as a joke, and tells Glittery to knock it off. Glittery scoffs, and rudely says that she was only joking. But Baby Grinch does not believe her, especially after they explained to him how it was a joke. It has a lasting impact.
Event Confessionals:
Glittery: Such an insufferable Grinch! Like I was only joking, how stupid do you have to be to not realize when someone is joking?!
Baby Grinch: I don't respect anyone who talks to me in the tone of voice that they used. It was demeaning and very rude. It seems as though people's true colors are starting to show.
(BC) Shattered Dreams: Talk about pointless drama, but at least this time it is pointless drama that I was not apart of. I don't even know who was in the right and who was in the wrong, because while it was pretty obviously a joke, Glittery was rude as hell when Baby Grinch didn't get it. And it makes sense as to why, I mean they are a literal baby. Cut them some slack.
TARGETS AND TRIBAL!
Annabelle is targeting Bucky's Arm. She absolutely hates that arm, and thinks it'd be better for her game, if it was gone.
Big Presents is targeting Hey Sis, It's Christmas. They feel slightly negative about them, and quite frankly would rather it be anyone but them.
Hey Sis, it's Christmas is targeting Shattered Dreams. They flat out just don't like them. But as Bucky's Arm said, there are definitely bigger fish to fry.
At Tribal I ask some questions:
Q: Big Presents, having just returned to the game, do you think that paints a big target on your back?
A: It might, it might. But I also think it could open doors not previously available. I mean I was voted off on a tribe of only 5 people, and one person who I know voted me is already gone. But me having already been voted out, leaves the door open for new avenues of this game to open. New alliances, new friendships, and new targets.
Q: Hey Sis, it's Christmas, Big Presents, mentions new targets, even though you weren't on their team when they were voted out, do you think pre-tribe swap events could make you a target of theirs?
A: I hope not? Shattered Dreams, Max, and Sleigh Ride were on their team, not me. And regardless of past events... I technically was not the reason they went home.
Q: Annabelle, How does it feel to win the first individual immunity of the season?
A: It feels great, I know there have been some tension revolving around me and a few others and it feels good to know, that the tension that has been present for quite some time now, won't lead me to be the first one voted out at the merge.
Q: Baby Grinch, you almost won the challenge. Do you feel safe without immunity around your tiny neck?
A: I will give a classic answer 'You can never feel safe in this game'

Hey Sis, It's Christmas: To be the first person voted out at merge is just awful, but someone had to be the first and I guess it was me. Not sure exactly why, like I'm not even a big threat. I SWEAR if Big Presents organized this whole thing all because I voted for them that ONE time, ugh whatever.
Big Presents: Wow, can't believe that worked. I hope they all didn't listen to who I wanted out for pity reasons, and that I actually persuaded them. But it feels good to get your target out, especially someone who did try getting you out earlier on.
Buddy: WHERE DID ALL THOSE VOTES COME FROM: I didn't even hear my name once! I don't even know what to say.
Santa Claus/Martians: Me and Bucky's Arm almost pulled that off. We were trying to keep our target of Buddy under wraps, and it almost worked. Maybe if we were a little more public with it, he could've actually gone, but five votes for a lowkey target isn't too bad.

CLOSING THOUGHTS BY ME!
Well here is the deleted, retyped and subtly different Episode 6, although y'all don't know it was different but it definitely is.
The placements for each challenge were randomized, besides the winner of course. And while I remembered all of them for the return challenge I only remembered a handful for the immunity challenge, the ones who had challenge confessionals were the ones I actually remembered
But anyways actual thoughts. Was not expecting Hey Sis, It's Christmas to go honestly. Only because in all Edge of Extinction sims I have done, the returnee is almost always first to go. But I'm glad that not only wasn't the case, but Big Presents also orchestrated the eliminated players elimination. As for Buddy receiving votes, that is the result of the Bucky's Arm and Santa Claus/Martians Alliance targeting them as a group. I don't show group targets because I feel it makes it a little obvious who is getting voted out, but yeah just a little explanation in case you didn't read Santa Claus/Martians confessional.
But yeah good first merge episode, shame there wasn't a lot of events going on, but that's okay as this episode feels like it is long, at least as I'm typing it. It took me the longest to type, which is weird because I already left notes for myself of what I needed to type that I remembered from when it got deleted.
