Hello! And Welcome back to Episode 9 (Part 2) of Happy Holiday Survivor!!!!
Last Episode the voted out people on Edge of Extinction hunted for a clue to help out someone still left in the game. Hey Sis, It's Christmas found the advantage and gave it to Big Presents, it ended up being useless. At camp. tensions seemed high after AIWFCIY was idoled out, Shattered Dreams won their second immunity in a row. After the immunity challenge, the vibes at camp seemed calm, resulting in a lot of bonding and our first alliance since the merge. At Tribal Council, Baby Grinch's looming physical threat was enough to get him voted out in a 6-4 vote.
Anyways let's get into this episode. Which I am sure will be chill and not chaotic or sad at all.

Baby Grinch arrives on Edge of Extinction. Baby Grinch tells them what happened, AIWFCIY feels mixed emotions hearing Shattered Dreams won immunity again. They aren't sure if they want Shattered Dreams to get voted out or win the whole thing.
Opening Confessionals:
Max: BARK BARK.
Production: Oh! We fixed the translator, but it can only be used with a British accent.
Max: You stupid wankers can't seem to do anything right.
Big Presents: Going into the final 9, I am not sure what to expect? Given how last tribal was a 6-4. will we keep the dynamic going with a 6-3? I don't care really as long as I am in majority.
Glittery: I feel good about this little alliance I got. I mean I don't feel like completely abandoning them immediately like I have done in the past, which is good.
Fievel: Another minority vote by me, but more importantly, another ally gone. That is two in a row. GASP! Am I next!?
Relationship Highlights!
Here is a refresh of alliances.
Alliance 1: Bucky's Arm and Santa Claus/Martians
Alliance 2: Big Presents, Bucky's Arm, Glittery, and Santa Claus/Martians
The best bond is you guessed it, between Bucky's Arm and Santa Claus/Martians. Santa Claus/Martians also had a medium bond with Glittery and Bucky's Arm has a medium bond with Buddy.
Glittery's only other relationship is a negative medium dislike with Sleigh Ride, which is Sleigh Ride's only relationship.
The Worst relationship is still between Max and Fievel, They HATE each other. This Fievel's only relationship. But Max has two others highlighted, both of which are positive. A medium bond with Shattered Dreams, and a small bond with Big Presents.
Both Shattered Dreams and Big Presents have two other relationships, all of which are negative medium dislikes. One that is with each other. But Big Presents also has one with Buddy and Shattered Dreams has one with Bucky's Arm.

Challenge Confessionals:
Big Presents: Yes, finally a win, the last thing I won was the re-entry comp, and that feels like forever ago at this point.
Bucky's Arm: After last tribal almost going home, and the tribal before receiving two votes, it would have been nice to have safety. Unfortunately, I do not. But I do think I got one of the people who voted me when AIWFCIY was voted out, out. Which is a good thing, plus there is another threat that exists...
Sleigh Ride: Hard to say if I needed immunity or not. I wouldn't say I am a threat, but sometimes being a threat isn't all you need to go home. Sometimes it's just being on the wrong side of the game, like I have been. Hopefully my under the radar game is keeping me afloat right now. I mean I think I know who to vote this tribal, but anything can and will happen in Survivor.
Santa Claus/Martians: Getting dead last in a competition is never good for boosting morale. But, I will say I feel pretty at ease. Even if my comp track record is a roller coaster, my alliance seems to hold majority. Which is a very good thing.
Shattered Dreams: This is not good. Not winning immunity is the worst thing that could have happened to me. I am the only person left in the game who has won immunity, besides Big Presents of course. But they just keep sending out the people who pushed out a win, and not only did I manage to garner one win, I got two! Which makes me double the threat, and I already caught people's smiles and glances at me once they realized I did not win. I'm going to try and play my hand at camp, but if that fails. I do have a backup plan.
TRIBAL EVENTS!
But first, here is a refresh on who has idols and advantages.
Shattered Dreams has one idol.
Max has two idols.
and Santa Claus/Martians has an extra vote.
Big Presents shows how many things can be wrapped up as gifts, which I guess impresses the rest of the tribe.
Shattered Dreams pulls Glittery aside, Shattered Dreams tries to sway Glittery to vote with them, but Glittery is not really interested in talking game, Shattered Dreams goes into plan B mode, and instead talks about shiny things, like glass. Which the two find in common. Shattered Dreams is hoping this boosts their relationship enough, that Glittery will want to persuade others to keep them around.
Oh and Big Presents leaves the alliance of them, Bucky's Arm, Glittery, and Santa Claus/Martians.
Event Confessionals:
Glittery: Yeah, I mean I guess Shattered Dreams is okay in my book. I just don't care to discuss game with them, I mean I did work with them in the past, but the past is the past. But maybe it would be nice to keep someone I kind of vibe well with, instead of just people I fight with all the time.
Shattered Dreams: Ugh I hope that conversation sort of helped my case. I know Glittery is not the most popular person ever, but I also know they have connections. Connections I could have used, if only they wanted to actually talk game with me.
Big Presents: Yeah I may have left the alliance, another alliance left added to my resume. But I have immunity right now, I am fine for this round.
onto TARGETS AND TRIBAL!
Fievel and Max are targeting one another. Again, they despise each other.
Big Presents is targeting Shattered Dreams, they don't get along... plus they think they are a threat.
Glittery is targeting Sleigh Ride. Glittery strongly dislikes Sleigh Ride.
Shattered Dreams is targeting Bucky's Arm, due to not liking them.
At Tribal I ask a few questions.
Q: Shattered Dreams, having not won immunity after two successful immunity wins, do you feel the most at risk?
A: Yeah, yeah I do. But if nothing else, at least I can prove to Christmas Tree Farm that I was not the reason our team kept losing. But in all seriousness, I hope I can stay. Yeah maybe I am a little physically capable, but that is it. I am not really a threat to win this game.
Q: Big Presents, I know I ask this every time, but do you think you needed to win immunity tonight?
A: Well although anything can happen, I think I was in a pretty safe space that no I didn't need to win. But I wanted to add to my resume.
Q: Max, you got your translator back this episode, and have yet to have a lot of chances to speak since then, anything you want to say?
A: Well, all I really haf to say is I just want me and me allies to make it far. And I hope this tribal proves that.

CLOSING CONFESSIONALS:
Max: Well, that is embarrassing. I should have played both my idols clearly. I knew I might have had 1 vote, and that should have been enough to just play the second one, I also now realize me and Shattered Dreams should have coordinated a bit better, and I probably should have told them I was playing my idol on them.
Shattered Dreams: I am glad to be safe, but Max going was worse case scenario other than me going. After AIWFCIY left, they were all I had to rely on. Now I have no one, and it is kind of my fault. If I maybe played my idol a second faster, they could have used their idol on themselves. And boom one of our targets is all that is eligible to go... but ugh, this is not good.
Fievel: WHOOPEE! I did not expect that to work out in my favor. To be honest, I didn't know who had an idol, but Max did... and he basically idoled himself out. HAHA that is what you get for not letting me ride on your back.
Sleigh Ride: When I voted for Max, I honestly did not think that he would be going. I knew most people were voting Shattered Dreams, So I threw a vote in case an idol was played. Well, as long as it is not me. Plus in a way, I kind of voted in majority. Definitely not the case, but it is my head canon.

CLOSING THOUGHTS BY ME!
Yeah, this episode sucked for me personally. It would have made great tv, everyone would be talking about it for ages and ages to come, it would make all those lists. Like 'Top 5 worst moves in Survivor History' or "Top 10 worst plays by smart players'.
Max was fun to right for. He had a whole side story that was prevalent in every episode, and seeing him go in such a heroic way is so disheartening. Especially since, it is kind of showcasing now who is truly on the bottom and who is on the top.
But really, if Shattered Dreams was the one to go I would have been just as devastated. But, at least it would have been a normal vote and not via your own idol.
