Hello! And Welcome back to Episode 10 of Happy Holiday Survivor!!!!
Last Episode Max got his translator fixed once again, and it seemed like a lot of dislikes were emerging. Big Presents snatched the immunity win, leading Shattered Dreams to scramble in order to try and get enough votes to stay. At the most shocking tribal yet, Shattered Dreams was all set to play an idol, until Max used one of his two idols on Shattered Dreams first, negating 6 votes. However Max ended up voted out with just 2 votes cast against him, courtesy of Fievel and Sleigh Ride.
With a shocking send off, how will tribe dynamics change. And with 1 idol in play at the moment, the merge idol is now hidden. Who will find it, and will it be used to cause another chaotic vote? Let's find out.

EPISODE 10:
Edge of Extinction:
Max arrives on Edge of Extinction. Everyone is shocked, but especially AIWFCIY, when he mentions playing an idol on Shattered Dreams. AIWFCIY mentions that Shattered Dreams has an idol, much to Max's dismay, he also reveals he had a second idol, so it really still his fault he claims.
Opening Confessionals:
Santa Claus/Martians: Using my extra vote to ensure Shattered Dreams went home, only for them not to go home is frustrating. It was just a big waste, but hopefully we have another chance at next tribal.
Big Presents: I almost had another target of mine go home. Stupid Max using his idol, and then sending himself home. Oh well, at least we know there is one less idol in play. We don't need another messy tribal.
RELATIONSHIP HIGHLIGHTS!
Quick Refresh of Alliances:
alliance 1: Bucky's Arm and Santa Claus/Martians

Santa Claus/Martians and Bucky's Arm still have the tightest bond in the game as of now. Santa Claus/Martians also has one other bond of medium value with Glittery. Bucky's Arm has two more relationships that are highlighted. A strong bond with Buddy, and a medium dislike with Shattered Dreams.
Glittery has a couple other bonds, that aren't very strong, but they are with Shattered Dreams and Big Presents. They also still feel a medium dislike with Sleigh Ride. Shattered Dreams also has a medium dislike with Big Presents.
Big Presents has a few other dislikes, making them the most disliked of everyone. They have two medium dislikes with Buddy and Sleigh Ride as well.
And Fievel has 0 relationships, since all that was relevant for them was their rivalry with Max.
Onto the REWARD CHALLENGE:
Dressed to Keel
"Divided into two teams of four, two members of each team will need to swim to a platform, where they will need to pull themselves under and untie a set of rings. They will then bring the rings to a second platform, where the remaining two team members will toss the rings onto three floating pegs. The first team to land all three rings wins."
Team 1: The Swimmers- Big Presents and Bucky's Arm. The Tossers- Fievel and Sleigh Ride
Team 2: The Swimmers: Glittery and Santa Claus/Martians. The Tossers- Buddy and Shattered Dreams.
Both teams are in the water, diving into the water to untie the rope and free the rings. Team 2's swimmers struggle a bit to untie, coming up out of the water several times without any rings, whereas team 1 seems to get majority of the rings without a hitch.
Team 1 has one last ring to untie, where as Team 2 still has all three, they finally get one as Team 1 unties their last one and brings it over to the platform for the tossers.
Team 2 continues to struggle, taking a long time to get the last two rings untied, eventually getting them they quickly hurry over to the platform and hand the rings to the tossers.
Team 1 already managed to get 2 rings in by the time Team 2 begins to toss, but Team 1 is struggling to get the furthest ring on the peg. Team 2's tossers quickly catch up, managing to get two rings in an instant. Both teams have one ring left, but the winner is...

Challenge Confessionals:
Santa Claus/Martians: Finally my roller coaster of challenge performances has resulted in a win.
Fievel: Dang 2nd place is so close to actually winning. Hmph, maybe I can pull off another sneaky play, I just gotta find who voted with me.
Sleigh Ride: Not having immunity is so not good. Especially given the uncertainty that is surrounding camp. I think Shattered Dreams might be someone on the chopping block again, but do I go with the majority or throw a vote in case of an idol.
Shattered Dreams: Time for damage control yet again.
TRIBAL EVENTS:
Refresh on Idols and Advantages:
Shattered Dreams has an idol.
The Holiday Idol is now hidden and no one finds it this episode.
Buddy and Glittery are talking on the Beach. Glittery is telling a bunch of their infamous jokes and surprisingly enough Buddy is laughing up a storm at them. Glittery keeps telling more, making Buddy absolutely hysterical. The two bond strongly because of this.
Fievel approaches Sleigh Ride, who is talking with Shattered Dreams. He stretches out a hand for the two songs and proposes an alliance, he doesn't reveal exactly why those two, and they don't question. But they do accept and so a new alliance is formed between: Fievel, Shattered Dreams and Sleigh Ride.
Event Confessionals:
Fievel: Using my amazing detective skills, I deduced that Sleigh Ride voted Max with me, so I knew I needed an alliance with them. And Shattered Dreams is on the bottom and we need an underdog alliance so new power can rise up. I couldn't say Sleigh Ride and I voted Max in front of their face though, because obviously they were close friends.
Glittery: Finally someone who appreciates my jokes. It is a holiday miracle. Buddy is definitely my new favorite person.
Buddy is just hysterically laughing: Glittery is the funniest person I have ever met in my whole life.
Sleigh Ride: Being approached for a new alliance is wonderful news. Having no strong ties, and voting in the technical minority last vote, did have me worried, but sticking with these two for a little while, might just be exactly what I needed.
Shattered Dreams: Obviously I am still going to discuss with others to hopefully keep myself even more safe. But I am very thankful Fievel proposed that alliance.
TARGETS AND TRIBAL:
Bucky's Arm is targeting Shattered Dreams. They don't like them, and still thinks they are a threat.
Shattered Dreams is targeting Big Presents. They don't like them. And Shattered Dreams knows that Big Presents had a hand in organizing the vote for them.
Buddy is targeting Fievel. Buddy does not like Fievel. Poor Fievel :(.
Glittery is targeting Sleigh Ride. This one sided rivalry is carrying Glittery and Sleigh Ride's presence in this sim.
At Tribal, I ask some questions.
Q: Bucky's Arm, we truly are getting down to the wire. Final 8, anything can happen. And as we saw last time, anything did happen. Do you expect anything wild to happen tonight?
A: I sure hope not. I know me, much like everyone else is done with chaotic tribals for at least a little while. But this is Survivor. It is going to be chaotic.
Q: Shattered Dreams, you almost went home last tribal. Max played an idol on you in order to keep you safe, and he ended up the one to go to Edge of Extinction instead. How does that make you feel and do you feel you could receive votes yet again?
A: Yes of course I do think votes would be coming my way again, I mean I received 6 votes last time, which tells me that majority of the people here want me gone, and I doubt they would stop now. As for how I feel about what happened last tribal, I am of course grateful I stayed. I do feel guilty that Max was the one to take my place instead though. He sacrificed it all for me.
Q: Santa Claus/Martians, you finally won immunity. After a lengthy struggle between almost winning and finishing almost last, how does it feel to finally win one?
A: It does feel nice, Especially given everything that has happened these last few days, I think this win was CRUCIAL.

Big Presents: Of course out by an idol. And of course out thanks to Shattered Dreams once again. We should have started taking shots at them earlier, before they even won the two immunity challenges that they did.
Shattered Dreams: Well, I have officially run out of cards to play. I now have three options. Win Immunity. Find another idol. Or make someone out to be a bigger threat than me. Ideally I can do all three, but I will settle for one.
Bucky's Arm: Another Idol play, okay now I am ready for no, and I mean NO more chaotic tribals, smooth sailing from here, right into the final 3. Manifesting it right now.

CLOSING THOUGHTS BY ME!
I am sad to see Big Presents go (again). You know I actually was not that happy when they returned, because they didn't do that much before they were voted out the first time. But they really impressed me in the merge and if they do win the return challenge. I won't be mad.
I do worry for Shattered Dreams, who is my personal favorite. I just don't think the simulator will have their best interest in mind next episode, but I am hoping to get proven wrong.
Also it is kind of at least at this moment an alliance of three versus an alliance of three with Buddy in the middle. Though these alliances don't tend to last long and I do feel someone will leave an alliance next episode.
